1. Light
A beam of white light from the autobot sniper's blaster coming his way was incredibly bright. It only made the darkness that followed darker.
2. Dark
Cybertron was dark and quiet. This meant no distraction for his work
3. First
Shockwave was neither vain nor power-hungry in the traditional sense of the terms, but he enjoyed the trail of 'firsts' to his name: the first cybertronian to restore ancient space bridging technology, the first cybertronian to breed a predacon, and now... the first cybertronian to build an Omega Lock. That was... mind-blowing.
4. Last
Shockwave checked the parameters and made few last minute adjustments. His optic focused on the breeding tank. Megatron was expecting a supersoldier. His Liege will not be disappointed.
5. Fear
If Shockwave had ever known fear, it was the fear of failure.
6. Hope
His sudden return brought renewed hope to the Decepticon. It was flattering.
7. Drop
The last drops of amber trans fluid were drained from the breeding capsule and the creature's power lines flashed bright yellow. It was glorious!
8. World
There was something eerie in the way wind blew small particles of rust across the vast plains of their now dead world. It was not logical, but Shockwave knew for sure, that one day Decepticon would be back. Their bond to Cybertron was too strong.
9. Deep
History was buried deep under the ruins of cybertronian cities... history held technological marvels beyond anything the Decepticon engineering had achieved so far. One day all ancient technology would be his to command.
10. High
Shockwave's optic followed the giant dragon as the predacon surged up high and turned, cutting low clouds with his wings. Part of him was making notes on the beast's profile, noting the fine work of antigravs and the ease at witch his creation mastered air maneuvers. Part of him was swelling with pride. Normally, Shockwave suppressed and deprioritized emotional input, this time he let it be. It was logical to feel proud.
11. Fly
Shockwave's spark was strong enough to support a flying altmode, but he chose a seismic cannon instead. Apart from increased firepower that the scientist had considered to be more important at the time of war, this choice allowed him for better focus on his tasks. Remove pressure, wind and altitude from the things you have to constantly consider, and your processing capacity increases at least 5%. 5% that could distinguish a failure from success. And flying? It was just a way of transportation, was it not?
12. Fall
An explosion turned his attention upward. Human air force was attacking the Darkmount. The shields... were there no more. The Fortress was going to fall for sure. Pity. Shockwave turned away as the first missiles flew in. "Soundwave. I require emergency groundbridge"
13. Shout
The was no logic in shouting at the troops. Why did Starscream do it?
14. Silence
Silence did not disturb him.
15. Follow
Nothing disappeared without trace. There was always something - a trail of ions, a residue radiance, a disturbance in the fields - tiny spurs and evidence a skilled scientist could follow on his hunt for perfection.
16. Lead
The essence of leadership was illogical. Shockwave spent some time trying to define and analyze it before coming to accept that some mechs simply could lead and others could not.
17. Enemy
The word 'enemy' would imply there was emotional significance assigned to them. In his mind, Shockwave called them 'obstacles'.
18. Friend
Shockwave made sure he was not being hostile and impolite to anyone beyond necessity. Making friends was more logical than aggravating allies.
19. Life
Life was a relative term. Simple organic duality didn't apply to complex mechanical lifeforms. Was a mech in stasis still alive? Was he dead? What if he got activated later? What if he didn't? No, not so simple for mechs.
20. Death
Shockwave was no believer. A deity would be illogical. Sooner or later, death claimed all living beings, regardless how advanced
