Chapter 24- Reality, Gnomes and fluff

February 10th

I woke up in the mystery shack with Dipper pacing and Mabel watching me with a worried expression.
"Livy! You're ok!" Mabel beamed and I smiled back ; she always seemed to cheer me up. Dipper immediately stopped pacing and turned to me," You shouldn't have been out! What were you thinking?" I was a terrible liar. I needed to plan it out.
"I wanted to surprise you. And Dr Hirsch said I'd be fine..." I lied. Dr Hirsch did say I could go for a walk if I wanted too because it had been over a week since my wound last opened up. They bought the lie and continued fussing over me for around an hour before Bill ran in. The other two walked away, leaving me and Bill alone. He looked at me as though he knew.
"Bill. I-" I started but he cut me off with such a look of sadness and pain.
"Not now. Talk about it later," He stated. I got up shakily.
"Bill. For a minute I forgot it was him. And he kissed me. It was so like you that for a moment... I hoped it was all a bad dream and you were the one kissing me... I'm so sorry," I looked down. I hated C so much but he was so like Bill... Except more muscular. Bill was a stick and C wasn't. Their suits were exactly the same material just different colours. Bill half nodded and calmed down.
"I forgive you. Come on. Let's go see Alex to fix you up," Bill put his arm around me and teleported us to Dr Hirsch. Dr Hirsch shook his head and led us to a room so he could examine me. He nodded and walked away, then came back with a blue potion and handed it to me. I drunk it and smiled; it tasted like lemonade.
"Thanks Dr Hirsch," I said. He rolled his eyes.
"Olivia we're friends. You can call me Alex," He replied. I smiled, "Dr Hirsch sounds better. It shows how smart you are." Dr Hirsch smiled back. I knew how full of himself he was but I did just like the sound of it better.

Christopher/ C / Mystery Guy P.O.V

I watched my brother forgive the girl and I felt rage boil up inside of me when she said that I was like him. She thought I was him when I kissed her. What to do? I can't let the girl live and I can't kill her. Why did I have to fall in love with the girl my brother loves?! I sighed in frustration then sat down and tried to remember something good that didn't involve Bill. I loved my brother but he forced my hand. I missed the times when we were friends, inseparable. I missed when we were younger and carefree. Remembering everything that changed when he turned 10, I frowned.

Bill turned ten and everything changed. He was called up by a group of elders and I wasn't allowed to see him when he was with them so I waited nearby. I heard my brother screaming in pain and ran. I couldn't take listening to it. Collapsing by a tree, I felt tears stream down my face. My younger brother was being harmed and I wasn't there to protect him. I wasn't strong enough to hold his hand.

When I got home Bill was sitting down with a bandage over where his right eye used to be and he was in some random clothes, his smart clothes draped over a rope and soaked in blood. I sat by him and he smiled weakly.
"Hi C..." Bill greeted me. I looked at him and asked, " What happened to you?" Bill looked down and touched the bandage over his right eye. He started crying and hugged me. I hugged him back, calming him.
"C C... I it w was h horrible..." Bill sobbed. Seeing my brother like this broke my heart.
"Shhh it's ok. You're ok. You're safe," I soothed. Bill just shook and cried.
"C... I I'm s scared..." Bill looked up at me, his eye was red from the tears. I hugged him tighter.
"I'm here for you. I wont let anything happen again," I promised.

That was the past... everything went downhill. Bill became more isolated from me and everyone else. We had a few good days but mostly he kept away from me.

Bill Cipher P.O.V

Olivia was fixed and allowed out. She looked weary, like something was on her mind.
"What's wrong?" I asked. She shrugged and continued walking out. We walked through the forest, past the gnomes area when Olivia stopped and pressed her fingers against her temples.
"Mum... Dad... Reality..." She murmured, her eyes turned silver. She smiled up at me and took my hand, leading me into the gnomes' lair.
"Hiya toots!" Jeff, the gnomes leader, said," Woah two girls this must be my lucky day!" Olivia laughed, "He thinks you're a girl!" I frowned.
"It's me Jeff. Bill Cipher," I rolled my eye. Jeff flinched.
"Sorry Bill. Didn't realise it was you. Ha ha..." He apologised, obviously scared of me, "Anyway why are you here?" I looked at Olivia, her eyes were still silver and she was smiling.
"We're looking for the reality mirror. I know it's here somewhere. I can feel it," she glanced around. Jeff was shocked but calmed himself.
"Password," He stated. Olivia simply grinned. This was the happiest I'd seen her since before her grandma died.
"The anchor," Olivia replied confidently. Jeff smiled.
"Welcome! You're the Earth kid then? Great! We've been waiting for this ever since the mirror started cracking. Follow me," Jeff led the way. I was so confused but Olivia seemed to know exactly what was going on.

Olivia P.O.V

My parents were talking to me! I knew where I was. The caves Jeff led us through were adorned with crystals but it failed in comparison to the huge crystal mirror with marble columns as long as 80 to 100 meters. It was a perfect rectangle. I walked up to the mirror and touched it. It rippled. I touched the cold surface again and it rippled yet again, like water. The grin on my face grew. "You've found it. Great job," My parents congratulated me in my mind. I traced the cracks with my finger and felt saddened. Such a beautiful thing was ruined. It kept everything balanced. Everything in check.
"Greetings Keeper. I am the mirror of reality. You are here to fix reality. Good luck," The mirror spoke with a thousand voices and I couldn't help but smile again.
"You will fix it right?" Jeff asked, worry creeping into his voice. Bill just stood there, trying to figure everything out.
"Of course I will. It's my duty," I grinned. I finally felt purpose. I had a reason. I had a quest. And who better to have by my side but Bill. I walked back over to him and kissed him on the cheek.
"I have a cause Bill. We have to fix this. Will you help me?" I questioned. Bill kissed me and when we broke apart he said, "Always."

Let me be real here, the main reason I started updating again is because at the weekend I bought a book called 'Fangirl' and I felt really bad about not updating in ages so whenever I pick up the book and start reading I want to pick up my laptop and start writing.
