Hey everyone, here's another chapter. I really appreciate all the reviews. And remember, if you haven't read chapter 26 yet, read it. I do not own TMNT, but I do own my OC's. On with the story…

Mikey's P.O.V.

I exited the kitchen and headed off to find my girlfriend. We had just finished going over the rescue plan and were now getting ready. I figured Lizzy wanted to come. Quickly, I walked down the hallway in her direction.

"Lizzy, were Leaving," I sang while knocking on her door. Silence was my reply.

"Lizzy?" I ask, slightly confused. I got silence again. Grabbing the handle, I opened the door. Her room was empty. The only thing out of place was a pile of clothes on the floor. This morning her room was completely clean. I walked over and carefully pick up the shirt. It was the one she was wearing early today.

"Maybe she's in the bathroom," I wonder aloud dropping the shirt. I walked out of her room and towards the bathroom. When I arrive the door was open and empty, which meant no Lizzy. I wondered away from the bathroom and towards the pit. I see my bro's ready and waiting when I get there.

"Mikey, you ready?" Raph asked with a raised eye ridge.

"Um… kinda. Have you guys seen Lizzy? I figured she would be coming with us, but she's not in her room or the bathroom," I replied rubbing the back of my head. My bro's then glance at each other before looking back at me.

"No. We haven't seen her since we went into the kitchen," Leo answered, making me worry. Just then the girls, the Davis's, and Master Splinter exit the kitchen.

"Have you guys seen Lizzy? I can't find her," I asked immediately running up to them.

"No my son, we have not. Have you checked everywhere?" Master Splinter asked. I thought a moment before I jumped up.

"The dojo," I announced speeding my way in, only to find no Lizzy. I walked back. Everyone turned to me and I shrugged.

"Hmm, someone call her," Leo commanded. I immediately pulled out my phone and called her. Making my way to the rest of the group I listened to it ring. I waited about two minutes but, finally gave up.

"She's not answering her phone," I sighed. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looker up to find Master Splinter.

"Do not worry Michelangelo, I am sure she is fine," he reassured, but I could see the worry in his eyes.

"Let me see if I can track her phone," Donnie spoke with a hand on his chin before walking into his lab. I quickly followed, as did everybody else. Donnie sat down at his desk and quickly began typing away at his keyboard. Eventually, a yellow turtle began beeping on his screen. Looking towards Donnie I see that he physically paled. I'm not the only one who notices either.

"Donnie, what the matter? Where's Lizzy?" April asked worriedly.

"She… she's already there. She's already at Shredders lair," Donnie announced. Okay, now I was really worried.

"What?! Donnie, are you sure?" Leo asked from behind, uneasiness laced through his voice.

"Positive Leo," he replied turning in his chair.

"Why would she leave without us?" I asked, a little hurt.

"I don't know and I don't care. All I know is we need to leave now and go help her save the twins," Raph yelled running out of the lair.

"Raph wait," Leo called after.

"My sons, follow your brother. Go and help Elizabeth," Master Splinter instructed. We nodded and ran quickly to catch up to Raph. Eventually we caught up with him at the manhole. We followed him up the ladder and on to the surface. Then we climbed on top of the first building and began jumping from roof to roof. I ran faster and faster. I had to help Lizzy, even though she hurt me. I still couldn't believe she left without us. I don't think she tried to hurt me… us, I think she wanted to keep us safe. Looking back at my brothers, I noticed that I was ahead. I continued my pace until we made it to his hide out. Skidding to a halt, I wait for them to catch up.

"What next Fearless?" Raph asked once the others caught up.

"We sneak in, find Lizzy, find and save the twins, and get out. And let's try to not to get into any fights," Leo commanded, directing the last part to Raph. He glared at him a moment before nodding. We then snuck inside his lair. When we got in, it was dark and quiet, like deathly quiet. It sent chills down my spine. Sticking down the shadows, we followed a long hallway. The farther we went down, the more noises we could hear. As a big door came into view, a girly scream echoed throughout the hallway. My brothers and I glanced at each other briefly before running at full speed down the hallway. We kicked the door open with just enough time to watch Lizzy knock Karai down and run towards the twins, who were currently backing away from Shredder. He raised his gauntlet at the twins and Maggie screamed again. Time seemed to slow down as Lizzy put herself in-between Ben and Shredder as he brought the blades down, slashing Lizzy square in the back.

"LIZZY!" I screamed, my eyes glazing over as I watched her fall to her hands and knees.

Maggie's P.O.V.

I couldn't help but scream when the Shredder came towards us. I gripped my brother's arm as we began to back away from him. Hearing the doors slam open, I look to find the turtles in the entrance. Out of the corner of my eye I see Lizzy push Karai down and rush towards us. Looking back at Shredder, I watch the blades come out of the gauntlet. I scream again, fear building up beyond its limits. Just as Shredder raised his gauntlet above Ben, Lizzy jumped between us. He slashed into her back. I could see pain in her eyes, but she held in a scream and smiled at us before falling to her knees.

"LIZZY!" I hear Mikey scream. I look up towards Shredder and see joy fill his one good eye as he begins to laugh evilly as he kicked her across the room. Finally coming out of my original shock, I pull Ben to where Lizzy had landed. I kneeled down to her and flipped her onto her back with the help of Ben. Pain flashed through her eyes a moment before she looked up and smiled at us.

"You two okay?" she asked weakly.

"Yeah, but you're not," Ben replied. Hearing heavy footsteps, I look up to see Shredder coming over to us again. He raised the gauntlet once more, but this time Leo jumps between us, katana's raised and blocking the attack.

"Leo," I breathe in relief. I look towards the other three turtles to see Raph holding off Fishface while Donnie and Mikey raced towards us. Karai stood to the side with an amused look on her face. I glare at her a moment before looking at Lizzy.

"Don't worry Lizzy, the guys are here. You'll be fine, I promise," I say grabbing her hand.

"As long as you're safe I'll be fine," she smiled. Donnie came over and kneeled down by Lizzy. Mikey was using his nunchucks to fight against Dogpound, who was trying to get over to Lizzy.

"Hey Liz, how you feeling?" he comforted getting out some medical supplies.

"I've been better," she replied.

"Alright, I have to flip you over, okay?" he told her. She nodded. As Donnie carefully flipped her over, she hissed quietly from the pain. Her back's bloody messes with deep gashes, making my fear turn into anger. Looking around I see Ben helping Donnie by handing him different supplies, Leo was still blocking Shredders attacks, but was getting tired fast. Raph was still battling Fishface while Karai watched with amusement. Finally I look up at Mikey and Dogpound. I can't take it anymore, so I stand up and glare at the giant mutant.

"This is all your fault!" I began, "You're the one who did this to Lizzy. You could have left her alone, but no, you just had to have her follow in your footsteps. Well look at her now. Your precious master did this to her. This is why her mom left the foot, to protect her from things like this. You must be the worst father in the world. If you really cared for her, you would help us get her out," I huffed finishing my rant with clenched fists. I could tell I caught him off guard. He seemed to think a moment before backing away from Mikey and out of the room. This was confusing for both me and Mikey, but we couldn't worry about that now. I knelt back down by Lizzy and watched Donnie make a temporary bandage around her back.

"How's she doing Donnie?" Mikey asked as Karai came up and started attacking him.

"We have to get her out of here. I don't have the right supplies for her back," Donnie informed packing up his things. Just as Mikey was about to say something, all the lights went out. It was completely back and I couldn't see anything. Through all the confusion, I felt a pair of hands grab me and pick me up, so I began struggling.

"Mag's, stop moving, we're getting out of here," a rough voice commanded quietly.

"Raph?" I whispered. He grunted in reply. I stayed silent as he carried me out of the room and through the empty hallway. I couldn't help but notice the lack of foot. I gripped my head. This whole day had been confusing and I was ready to get home. Once on the roof, I looked towards the others in the moonlight. Leo had Ben on his back, Mikey was carrying bridal style Lizzy, and Donnie had his stuff. I could tell Lizzy was unconscious. Quickly, we made our way back to the lair. It was a quiet trip, but nobody really felt like talking. Eventually, we entered the lair where the girls, Master Splinter, and my parents were waiting. Mikey and Donnie immediately ran into the lab. Raph let me down and I ran towards them.

"Mom! Dad!" Ben and I yelled jumping into their arms. They pulled us into a tight embrace. I let out a few sobs before looking up at my mom.

"Lizzy… she's…" I sobbed. She shushed me while pulling me onto the couch with her. My dad and brother followed.

"It'll be okay, I'm sure of it," she cooed rubbing my back.

"You sure?" I sniffled.

"Of course baby doll, but right now we should fix you up," my dad chimed in. I just gave him a confused look.

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

"You hit your head when we were pushed into the van," Ben remembered pointing to a spot on his head. I mimicked him feeling for the spot, wincing slightly when I found it.

"Could one of you girls get a first aid kit for me?" mom asked. Cade nodded and left for a moment before returning. Mom gratefully grabbed the clear case and began pulling things out of it. Taking this time to look around the room, I notice Master Splinter left the room. Leo was holding Katie, Cade left to stand by Raph, and April was looking into the lab. In fact, they all seemed to be near the door. My brother and dad were talking quietly with each other. Gently, my mom took hold of my face and began disinfecting the cut. It hurt a little, but she finished quickly and put a gel on it to keep it from getting infected. She finished it up by placing a bandage on the cut.

"There, that's better. Now that we've got that under control, what's our next move?" she asked my dad. He thought a moment. He was about to say something when Leo stepped forward.

"If I may suggest something, I would say that you leave here for the night and get some place safe. Probably not your house, but maybe a family members or a hotel. Strangely I didn't see any foot at Shredders lair, so their probably lurking around the city. They may decide to make a surprise vsit to your house," he suggested politely.

"That's probably the best idea. I know there's a fairly nice hotel not far from here. We could stay there," dad agreed looking towards my mom.

"Alright," she replied.

"As long as we come back tomorrow," Ben interjected in a voice I recognize. It was an end of discussion voice.

"Of course Ben," dad replied as Leo nodded.

"I'll lead you out," Leo stated. All of us stood up. I waved to the girls and Raph, who nodded or waved in reply. Ben did the same. We exited the lair as Leo led us to a manhole. My mom went up first, then Ben, I was next, but stopped a moment.

"If anything happens, you call us, got it?" I commanded pointing a finger at Leo. He looked at me with a smile.

"Yes ma'am," he replied with a solute. I giggled softly before heading up the ladder. My dad followed. Once up, we began to walk down the street. I didn't want to leave, but I knew I had too. I just hope Lizzy will be okay.

Leo's P.O.V.

Once they were gone, I booked it back to the lair. I had stayed out of the lab mostly to make sure the twins were okay, but now that I knew they were fine, I had to check on Lizzy. I soon reentered the lair and made my way to the lab. On my way, I noticed that my brother, two friends, and girlfriend had retreated to the couch. Katie looked at me with sad, brown eyes. I smiled slightly to her and pointed at the lab. She smiled back and nodded. I then entered the lab. In the far corner, I saw Donnie working on Liz's back. Mikey and Master Splinter were next to him. As I approached them, Master Splinter turned to me and walked my way. He led me to another side of the lab to talk.

"How's Lizzy sensei?" I asked worriedly.

"She is hurt and will need stitches in some spots, but she will be okay. Though I fear it will take long to heal. Donatello finished cleaning her wound, so he should be getting ready to start stitching," he informed. I sighed in relief slightly.

"What about Mikey?" I asked. Sensei sighed.

"Michelangelo is worried. I have tried to get him to leave the lab and get some rest, but he will not leave Elizabeth's side," he replied and I nodded. I look towards my baby brother again before leaving the room and heading over towards the others. I take up a spot on the couch next to Katie. She leans into me and instinctively I wrap an arm around her.

"How is she?" she whispered.

"Hurt. Donnie's starting the stitching right now," I replied quietly.

"I hope shell be okay," Katie thought aloud.

"I'm sure she will," I told her before placing a gentle kiss on her head. For the next hour, no one talked. I couldn't really blame though. The girl who I thought of as a little sister was hurt. Somehow, I couldn't help but feel guilty. I'm the leader, and Lizzy's a member of my team. I'm supposed to make sure my team is safe. My inner turmoil bothered me for the next hour. I only stopped thinking when the lab doors opened. We all looked over to see Master Splinter and Donnie.

"How's she doing?" Raph asked gruffly.

"She's fine, and should be waking up sometime tomorrow. If she wakes up before then, Mikey will let us know I'm sure," Donnie informed. Everyone seemed to let out a breath of relief.

"I think it would be best if we all went to bed. It has been a long day. Katherine and April, you two should head home. Your families must be worried," Master Splinter instructed.

"We've got it under control Master Splinter," April began.

"Is that so?" I asked, intrigued.

"Yes. We've called our families and told them we had a big test coming up on Monday, so we were going to stay the rest of the weekend… if that's okay," Katie informed. Master Splinter thought a moment before nodding.

"I think that was a good idea. Now that that is settled, goodnight everyone," he agreed. Everyone chorused their goodnights and headed off in their own directions. Katie followed me to my room.

"You know, if you want you could sleep in Lizzy's room. I know she wouldn't mind," I offered, not wanting to make her uncomfortable, but she shook her head.

"No, it's alright Leo. I'd rather stay with you, if that's okay with you," she smiled. I nodded and opened my door. Katie took off her shoes and we crawled under the covers. I pulled her close and she snuggled to me. She soon fell asleep and I followed, listening to her steady breathing.

Raph's P.O.V.

I turned on my side gently not to wake Cade. It was around two in the morning and I couldn't sleep. At all. This is not how tonight should have happened. We were to go there, bust a few heads, grab the twins, and get out. But Liz left without us. I don't think I'll ever understand girls. Glancing over at Cade I smirk. Well, most girls. Still, I think she should have waited. With an aggravated sigh, I gently flip off the covers and get off my bed. I sneak over to the door, open it, and leave. I walk down the hallway, past the pit, and into the lab. In the corner, my little bro snored softly in a chair next to the gurney that was used for emergencies. That is where Lizzy laid. Creeping around to the other side, I look at her a moment. She smiled softly while her hair framed her face. It kinda reminded me of a night when she first arrived at the lair. I smirked.

"Well, I don't know what you were thinking shorty, but by the smile on your face, I'd say you accomplished it," I whispered to the sleeping blonde.

"I wish I knew what you were thinking Liz, I really do. Maybe you'll enlighten us when you wake up, but if I were you, I'd sleep for a while too. Leo's gonna give you one hell of a lecture after this. You'll be getting quite a few actually. And sensei might ground you from going on patrol for a while once you're healed. Don't worry though; you won't be getting some long spiel from me. I can't really say much 'cause I'd do the same thing," I continued, "Though, I'm kinda doin that now, huh? Well, you're now awake so it doesn't count. Anyway short stuff, I just want you to wake up soon. Not just for me or the rest of the guys, but for Mikey. You hurt him; I can see it in his eyes. I know it's not what you wanted to do, but it happened. He already forgave you though, that's Mikey's way. All of us already forgave you. We know you just wanted to save Ben and Maggie, but next time someone's life hangs in the balance, wait for the rest of us," I chuckled. I didn't talk for a few minutes and I couldn't help but notice some deep bruises on her arms and a few on her face. This mad me angry, and suddenly, a wave of exhaustion swept over me.

"Well, I'm going back to bed, but I'm going to tell you this once: if you can hear me, you better not tell the guys what I said. Got it," I smirked. I patted her head softly before heading back to bed to get some sleep.

I hope you guys like this chapter. I've been waiting forever to write this one, but I think I got a little excited and made it kind of fast. So let me know and if you think so, I can fix it. Well, keep reading. Bye!
