It has been three months since the incident in Paris, France with Prince Alex as Sonic and Amy were getting ready to move out of his lavish two story apartment and into a gargantuan mansion he just recently purchased.

Sonic's Pov

It's been a wonderful three months since me and Amy got back from Paris after our honeymoon issues as we were packing all of our belongings to move into our new home on the outskirts of Station Square. We had already moved most of the furniture into the house, well me and the guys anyway while the girls have been packing up all the boxes, everything was going smooth but I seemed to notice on this particular day that Amy continued to go back and forth to the bathroom and being the worry wart I am I decided to check on her when she came back out.

Amy emerged from the bathroom a mere five minutes later rubbing her stomach as I approached her.

"Amy baby are you ok?" I asked as she shook her head back and forth

"I don't know why but my stomach hurts and I've been throwing up a lot today, I think I have a stomach virus." Amy explained as I put my hand on her forehead

"You don't seem to have a fever maybe it's just something you ate." I finished as I grabbed a left over blanket and set it up in the far corner of the room, I than escorted Amy over to it and told her to lie down and rest while got all the moving finished as she did just that.

We finished getting everything packed and moved onto the truck while Amy rested, she seemed to have calmed down as I gently picked her up wrapped in the blanket like a little baby and laid her down in the back seat of Shadow's truck as he drove her to our home with me following in the moving truck.

Amy's Pov

Feeling myself having been moved I woke up to see myself inside a vehicle upon looking around I saw Cream next to me with my feet in her lap, my head was supported by someone when I looked up and noticed it was Rouge.

"Feeling better there sleepy head?" Rouge asked with me nodding slightly only to have what I said be a lie as I felt queasy yet again.

"Shadow pull over quickly?" I asked as he obliged with my jumping out of the truck running in the nearby grass and vomiting once again but this time it was mostly liquid no solid, Sonic stopped the truck and ran to my side as I continued heaving up what little I had to heave. I fell to my knees in tears crying because I felt like my stomach was a raging inferno. Sonic pulled my hair out of my face as I cried in his arms. "Oh Sonic please take me to the hospital my stomach is burning." I cried as he asked Shadow and the others to finish the move while he borrowed Shadow's truck to rush me to the emergency room.

Normal Pov

Sonic drove as fast as he could above the speed limit without getting stopped by the cops as we pulled up to Station Square general he saw a couple of guys wheeling a wheel chair back inside as he hurried and got their attention.

"Help please, my wife is in terrible pain." Sonic cried as the men quickly turned the chair around as Sonic was helping Amy out of the truck with her crying at an extreme extent. They wheeled her inside with Sonic rushing by their side until he was stopped by the head nurse to collect her information. They rushed Amy to the back and immediately began to work on her as a doctor rushed into the room.

Amy was barely conscious at this point as she gave in to the pain and was ready to pass out, the doctor waved a light in her eyes to check her pupils he examined her mouth with a throat swab collecting any leftover vomit for testing. Which led him to speak.

"Miss, my name is Dr. Jerome I am the head surgeon here can you hear me?" Jerome asked as Amy slightly nodded

"Good can you tell me your name?" Dr. Jerome asked

"Amy Rose Hedgehog." Amy answered as she sprang up holding her stomach and screaming.

"Please make it stop, it hurts." Amy yelled as they managed to get her back under control.

"Amy listen I'm gonna poke your stomach a little, can you let me know where it hurts the most?" Jerome spoke and asked as Amy nodded and he poked and prodded at her stomach she didn't respond right away until he felt right below her navel to her right side and she screamed in utter pain.

Dr. Jerome knew when he poked there exactly what was wrong with her as he gave the order.

"Let's get her prepped for surgery stat it's her appendix it's about to burst." Dr. Jerome ordered as all the nurses and doctors sprung into action.

3hrs later

Shadow and the other's completed the move and rushed to the hospital to find a pacing Sonic, as they too were worried.

"Hey is she gonna be ok?" Shadow asked

"I don't know, they've had her back there for what seems like forever I don't know anything and I'm worried sick." Sonic replied sitting down cupping his face in his hands as Dr. Jerome emerged from within the back stopping at the front desk.

"Nurse who check the young pink hedgehog in? Dr. Jerome asked as he pointed at Sonic with him making his way over toward him.

"Excuse me Mr. Hedgehog?" Dr. Jerome started getting Sonic's attention

"Hi I'm Dr. Jerome, I'm the doctor who helped your wife." Dr. Jerome started

"Please doc is she gonna be alright please tell me?" Sonic begged

"She's gonna be fine, we managed to catch the ailment before it got any worse or caused any complications." Dr. Jerome answered

"Complications, what kind of complications?" Sonic asked

"I'll let her be the one to tell you that, she's in the recovery center waiting to see you." Dr. Jerome finished as he escorted Sonic and his friends to the back where from a window they saw Amy lying in a bed playing with a jar that housed her appendix which was the cause of her ailment as they entered the room.

"Amy you have some visitors?" Dr. Jerome started as he let them in and left the room.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Sonic asked

"I'm wonderful, I've never felt better." Amy answered with a light pink tint on her cheeks as Sonic felt her forehead again.

"Your cheeks are red but you don't have a fever are you sure you're ok." Sonic started and asked.

I'm perfect or shall I say we're perfect." Amy stated with Sonic giving her a confused look. Rouge heard what she said and quickly pieced together the puzzle as she bounced up and down with excitement covering he mouth as Shadow reacted.

"Rouge what's going on with you?" Shadow asked as Rouge whispered the answer in his ear with his eyes going wide as hubcaps. She told Cream and Tails as well as they giggled to themselves.

"Alright what's so funny over there and why is Shadow's eyes bulging?" Sonic asked as Amy grabbed his hand and placed it on her stomach.

"They got my clue but will you." Amy finished

"I know you just had surgery babe that's no secret." Sonic stated as everyone face palmed including Amy as she restated her clue to him with him still not getting it until she told him flat out.

"Sonic you slow bunny, what I meant by we're was that me and you are gonna have a baby." Amy finished with Sonic's eyes going wide as Shadow's.

"Really?" Sonic asked as Amy's pink tint became a full flush red color.

"Yes, Sonic I'm pregnant." Amy finished as Sonic grabbed her in a light yet still tight hug taking care to her stitches as they shared a sweet kiss. With their friends applauding and Sonic rubbing Amy's tummy ever so gently.
