If You Lose Control

Nico di Angelo couldn't sleep.

Nico di Angelo couldn't weep.

By the end of each day,

The pain that tore him wouldn't go away.

It cut its way through,

And soon Nico had nothing to lose.

His emotions had gone,

But his life raged on.

It was like a fire that would never die,

But it was burning you from the inside.

He counted to ten,

And jumped instead,

To the lake below,

And had his final blow,

Against a rock that was pointed and jagged,

Much like his like that had just ended.

They found the body the next day,

Of the young boy that took his life and never had a say.

His life had gone without him choosing,

To do right or wrong, it was just confusing.

It chose his path for him.

And with that it closed his life span.

The boy that never said "I can"
