Natsu stared at Lucy, dumbfounded by what she said. He was certain she had been crying—her pink puffy eyes said it all.

His voice wouldn't cooperate with him, so he slowly walked up to her and did the only thing that he knew would let her know that he was there for her.

"L-Let's just forget about it, okay?" Lucy laughed weakly, standing up from the bed. "Natsu—"

She wasn't able to finish her sentence, being interrupted by Natsu's protective arms wrapping around her and pushing her into his chest.

"It's going to be okay," he muttered into her hair. "You don't have to act strong. Let it all out if you need to."

He wasn't sure what else to say to her, but it must have been something right. He nearly smiled at the two hesitant arms going around his waist.

Lucy let out a soft sigh into his chest, grateful that Natsu's hand behind her head wouldn't allow her to pull away. This embrace—this was what she needed.

Despite wanting to cry again, no tears came out. His arms wouldn't have allowed any tears to surface, anyway.

She had no desire to let go of him any time soon, but after feeling a certain feline squeeze his way in between their legs, she had no choice.

"Happy, you're ruining the moment," Natsu chided his pet, pulling away from Lucy at the same time she did.

Lucy's eyes widened at this so called moment. It wasn't long until her face was the same color as her swollen eyes.

"Do you think you're still going to go on the school trip?" Natsu asked somewhat nervously.

"I think so," she nodded. "It'll probably take my mind off of everything, right?"

"Right," he returned the nod. "Hey, let's go to Fairy Tail!"

"Now?" she blurted out after getting her hand grasped and tugged away. "What about your video game?"

"That can wait," he assured. "I'll call everyone else to come and meet us there!"

"O-Okay," she stuttered. She couldn't tear her eyes away from her hand that seemed to fit perfectly inside of his.

Even as they strolled to the restaurant, Natsu didn't release Lucy's hand. Neither of them brought it up until Mirajane greeted them at the entrance of the restaurant.

"We weren't holding hands!" Lucy instantly asserted while jerking her hand away.

"Don't worry, I'll keep it a secret," Mirajane winked. "So, table for two?"

"Ten," Natsu corrected.

"Ten?" Mirajane echoed. "Who is the extra person?"

"We have a new friend," Lucy explained with a smile. "Her name is Juvia."

"Juvia and Gray are getting along really well lately!" Mirajane commented as she led them to their usual table.

"How do you know that?" Natsu questioned.

"Oh, looks like I have some orders to pick up," she giggled. "See you later!"

Lucy and Natsu shared a puzzled expression while they sat down, muttering under their breaths, "How does she found out about this stuff?"

Soon enough, their friends began to file into the restaurant, two by two. Lucy couldn't help but notice that Gray and Juvia came together. But what surprised her most was when Levy and Gajeel arrived together as well.

"Why are Erza and Jellal coming together?" Natsu furrowed his brows at the couple.

"Isn't it obvious already?" Cana scoffed. "They've been coming to places together for weeks."

"I thought you guys already knew Erza and I were together," Jellal frowned at everyone.

"We did," the entire table, except Natsu, answered in unison.

"Why did you suddenly invite all of us, Flame-brain?" Gray inquired.

"Why not?" Natsu shrugged.

"We're already going to be seeing each other for three days straight soon," Gajeel grumbled.

"Lu-chan, have you started packing yet?" Levy recalled, turning to her.

"Yeah, I'm almost finished," Lucy replied. "What about you?"

"I'm going to start tomorrow," Levy responded. "I have no idea what to bring!"

"Tell me about it," Lisanna whined.

"This is why you pack in advanced," Erza spoke with a confident hair flip.

"Just how advanced?" Cana narrowed her eyes at her. "We're already packing four days in advance."

"A week in advance, of course," Erza answered simply.

The girls waved off their always prepared friend. No matter how hard they tried, they would never be as perfect as Erza and they had accepted that.

While they ate dinner together, Lucy's mind wouldn't stop drifting away into her worried thoughts about her father. The whole situation was making her feel sick.

"Luce, what's up?" Natsu noticed her in a heartbeat.

"N-Nothing!" she squeaked. "I'm just thinking."

"About what?" Juvia questioned curiously.

"Family stuff," Lucy sighed out, her thoughts flowing out of her before she could stop them. "My dad isn't feeling well back at home and I can't stop thinking about it."

"Why don't you go visit him then?" Gajeel suggested plainly.

"He doesn't live in Magnolia," she explained. "I can only visit him by plane."

"I'm sure your dad will be okay!" Levy guaranteed. "I know your dad works hard, so he surely wouldn't let a small cold bother him."

"We're here for you," Lisanna added. "Don't keep your thoughts to yourself!"

"I can always give you some booze if you need it," Cana grinned.

"Juvia will always help Lucy," Juvia chimed in.

"We and the school trip will make you feel better," Erza stated.

Lucy smiled at her friends, a light feeling swelling up in her chest. She knew that if she was with them, she didn't need to worry about anything else.

"Y-Yeah, what they said," Gray coughed awkwardly with the boys nodding in agreement.

"Thanks, everyone," Lucy told them gratefully.

With that, Lucy didn't allow herself to think what if this and what if that for the rest of the night.

For the time being, all she needed to do was wait for the school trip in four days and be optimistic that while she was away, her father would hopefully wake up.

Four days had never flown by Lucy so fast before.

Two of them were spent checking to see if everything she needed was packed, and the next two were spent helping Natsu do some expected last minute packing.

"Are you sure you having everything?" Lucy asked with uncertainty on the last day.

"You sound like a mom," Natsu chuckled. "Yes, I have everything."

"What about your motion sickness patches?" she inquired.

"Oh, yeah!" he shot up from the floor. "Let me go get—"

"Here," she groaned, tossing him the small box she had been hiding all along.

"Thanks," he sent her a childish grin.

Since everything looked ready, Lucy decided to go to her room for the night.

"Don't forget we have to wake up earlier than usual," she reminded him. "I'm leaving even if you don't wake up."

"Yeah, yeah," he brushed her off. "Want to play video games with me?"

"Goodnight, Natsu," she ignored him as she entered her room and closed the door.

It was almost midnight—Lucy was already looking forward to falling asleep in the bus on the way for the trip.

However, just as she expected, her body wouldn't stop twisting and turning in her bed the entire night. She was too busy thinking of the school trip and how much she was anticipating it.

Eventually, Lucy ended up falling asleep, but it felt as if she slept for five minutes.

Nonetheless, she leapt out of bed to begin the day.

"Natsu, wake up," she yawned out, knocking on his door.

"Already awake," he answered inside his room.

Proud that he had done one thing right, Lucy shuffled into the bathroom to clean herself up. Nothing was more satisfying than splashing cold water onto her face to wake her up.

They were instructed to get to school an hour earlier than usual. It was strange, walking to school with the sky hardly lighting up into a light purple. Not to mention, the streets were deserted.

But the calamity of it all excited Lucy. She had been waiting for this trip for months.

Lucy—being the third person to arrive in her group of ten—patiently waited for everyone else to arrive. She noted that the amount of luggage everyone had brought was nearly about the same.

Except for Cana.

"What do you have in there?!" Levy exclaimed. "Isn't it heavy?"

"Don't let Erza see it," Cana mumbled, shifting her large duffle bag behind her legs.

"Do you have what I think you have?" Lisanna sent her a look of disapproval.

"Probably," Cana smirked.

Lucy rolled her eyes, knowing that it would be impossible for Cana to not drink in three days. She had seen Cana completely sober only once—it was traumatizing.

"Okay, everyone, you may now enter the bus," Erza's voice blared out from a megaphone.

"Let's go before she sees me!" Cana spoke quickly, nodding her head to the bus.

"Erza and Jellal are going to be too busy directing everything to notice you," Gray scoffed.

Despite that, the group hurried to the bus so they could get good seats. It wasn't until they reached the door when they remembered the two people who were prone to make them slow down.

"What if my motion sickness patches don't work?" Natsu rambled.

"Yeah, I don't know if mine will work either," Gajeel muttered.

"Come on, boys!" Lisanna huffed out, pushing Natsu from behind.

"You're making everyone wait!" Levy scolded, pushing Gajeel from behind as well.

As soon as Natsu and Gajeel stepped one foot inside the bus, their faces were already turning blue.

Lucy watched the two in amusement since she was at the back of the line behind them.

"Want to sit together again?" Gray suggested behind her.

"I think Juvia wants to sit next to you," Lucy replied, pointing at the window where Juvia was eagerly at waving Gray.

"Right," Gray said under his breath.

They entered the bus together, walking through the aisle to the middle of the bus where their friends were seated.

"Luce, sit with me," Natsu whined with his arms reaching out to her as she walked by.

"Sorry," Lucy giggled while plopping down next to Cana whom was a diagonally across from him. "You're already sitting next to Lisanna!"

"You can sit with him if you want," Lisanna offered.

"No way, I don't want to deal with his motion sickness," Lucy shook her head immediately.

"Neither do I," she pouted, although her eyes were bright.

Once everyone was seated, Jellal's voice began to sound throughout the speakers in the bus.

"It will take five hours to reach our destination. Please keep your voice level at a minimum."

"Five hours?" Natsu repeated helplessly. "I don't think I can do this anymore, get me out—"

"You'll be fine!" Lisanna guaranteed.

Lucy laughed softly to herself, looking at Cana beside her to find her dead asleep.

"How are you already asleep?" she whispered in bewilderment, poking one of Cana's cheeks.

But it didn't take long for Lucy to fall asleep along with her, her head falling onto Cana's shoulder. The bus was nearly silent the whole time due to how tired everyone was from waking up early.

Lucy woke up the moment she felt her back pressing into her seat more than usual. Groggily lifting her head up, she noticed that the bus was going uphill. Meaning, they were close to where their destination was.

"Morning," Cana grinned. "I just woke up, too."

"What time is it?" Lucy yawned.

"Almost noon," she responded. "Erza announced that we'll be arriving in ten minutes."

"I wonder what we're going to be doing when we get there," Lucy hummed in thought.

"They're going to give us the schedule," Cana mentioned.

Lucy could instantly feel her excitement. She had been told there was an endless amount of activities to do while they learned on how to work well with others.

"Okay, everyone, we have arrived," Jellal soon came back on the speaker. "Here is the schedule, don't lose it because you're not getting another one."

"Can we get out already?" Natsu groaned.

"Not yet, Natsu," Jellal replied, having heard him at the front of the bus.

Lucy didn't mind the wait since she was too busy reading everything on the schedule provided. According to the schedule, the only break time they had was lunch, dinner, and thirty minutes before going to sleep.

Looking out the window, she realized that they were in the woods; she could make out several buildings off into the distance. It was relieving to see that they weren't made out of chipped wood like Gajeel claimed they would be.

"You may now exit the bus," Erza informed.

"Yes, let's go!" Natsu cheered as he hopped out of his seat and hastily took his stuff out from the compartment above him.

"Lu-chan, I'm so excited!" Levy raved when they were outside. It was no surprise Natsu immediately fell to the ground the second he exited the bus.

"What do you want to do first?" Lucy questioned just as excited as she was. "I want to see the famous creek here!"

"I want to see the animals," Lisanna stated.

"Juvia wants to go where Gray goes!" she proclaimed.

There was a whistle in the air; everyone turned their heads to the noise.

"There will be a short tour so everyone will know where everything is," Jellal revealed.

The students followed one another as they listened to the tour led by the staff members who worked there.

"This will be where you sleep tonight," they presented two separate buildings. "Students of the opposite gender are never allowed to be in the same room. If we catch anyone, you will be sent home."

"That's harsh," Gray mumbled.

"Were you planning on coming to our room?" Lucy raised a brow.

"O-Of course not," he stuttered with pink cheeks.

Passing by their temporary dorms, the students were then brought to a large dirt field with a stack of wood in the middle.

"This is where the campfire will be tomorrow night," the tour guide declared. "There is a legend here that if you confess to your crush once the campfire is lit, it will turn out successful."

"What kind of legend is that?" Gajeel grumbled.

"Lucy, this might be Juvia's chance!" Juvia whispered frantically into Lucy's ear. "Should Juvia do it?"

"B-But it's just a legend," Lucy stammered with large eyes.

"Juvia is willing to take the risk," she replied confidently.

Lucy felt a spark in her chest at the statement. By how confident Juvia was, it made Lucy feel a hint of confidence, too.

Perhaps this campfire legend was her chance as well?

Lucy bit her lip, glancing at Natsu whom was still recovering from the bus ride. She couldn't help but reach over to him and give him a comforting pat on the shoulder.

"Thanks, Luce," he sent her a meek smile. "What's so special about the campfire? I wasn't listening."

"It's nothing," she answered quickly. "Don't worry about it."

With a few more other things to present, the tour shortly came to a close.

"Enjoy your stay here!" the tour guide waved goodbye to everyone before leaving the students.

"Okay, what should we do first?" Lucy asked her group as they naturally huddled up into a circle.

"I want to go see the trail!" Lisanna suggested.

"I want to go explore the woods," Natsu responded.

"I want to go try out the cooking class!" Levy exclaimed.

"I want to go take the fencing lessons they have here," Erza stated.

"They also have archery here," Jellal added.

Lucy's eyes widened as different activities were listed in the air by everyone.

"I think we should split up and do everything separately," Cana said with a shrug.

"That doesn't make all of us a group, though," Juvia remarked.

"Then how about we all do everything we can together whether we like it or not?" Lucy proposed.

"Can I sit out for the cooking class?" Gajeel groaned.

"Nope!" Levy grinned.

Lucy smiled at the two as they bickered. Since Gajeel seemed to be the only one upset with the idea, they decided go with the majority vote.

"Let's get started then!"

Even though each activity took less than an hour too, there still wasn't enough time for them to participate in all the ones they wanted to.

"We're cooking first thing in the morning!" Levy declared firmly. "I need to see Gajeel bake a cupcake at least once in my life."

"Imagine Gray baking a cake," Cana cackled.

"Don't," Gray muttered as Juvia immediately began to squeal.

They were all becoming tired from everything they had done, but there was still something else left on the list to do which was still open even after dinner was over.

Fencing.

"Can I pass on this one?" Lisanna asked wearily. "I don't think I can fence on a full stomach."

"It's not like we're swimming or anything," Gajeel snickered.

"We wouldn't be a group if you do," Erza shook her head. "You'll be okay."

Lucy gulped, entering the building that gave out the lessons. She had never held a fencing foil in her life, not to mention even seen one in real life.

After a brief explanation about fencing which Lucy was sure wasn't informative enough, just like that, they were given the swords.

"Good luck," the instructor finished plainly, allowing them to begin.

"Luce, let's practice together," Natsu took Lucy's wrist and pulled her to a mat.

"Natsu, I have no idea what I'm doing," she blurted out, nervously glancing at Erza and Jellal whom were already going at it.

"I'll teach you," he guaranteed.

Lucy sighed, accepting that Natsu wouldn't let her back out of it. Noticing the pattern of the footwork as they practiced, she actually started to get the hang of it.

Until Natsu suddenly began to flick his sword around faster than usual.

"Hold on!" she exclaimed behind her mask. "You're moving too—"

"Point for me," he teased as the sword poked her shoulder.

"You're on," she proclaimed with her grip strengthening on the handle of the sword.

She was going to beat Natsu at least once no matter how many tries it was going to take. Because as the instructor said earlier, it was all about taking risks. If Lucy had learned one thing today, it was all about taking risks.

Some part of her sensed that fencing with Natsu wasn't the only risk she'd be taking soon.

Once the fencing lesson was over and everyone had become sweaty from practicing, they didn't hesitate to enter their rooms to shower for the night.

"Today has been so much fun!" Levy cheered happily after she had showered, falling into one of the Japanese-styled futons they were to sleep on.

"I'm exhausted," Cana fell beside Levy. "I could fall asleep right here right now."

Lucy nodded in agreement, sitting down in her futon. She couldn't stop herself from admiring the robe she was wearing. It was a simple robe—dark blue with orange leaves on it.

"Aren't the robes they gave us so comfortable?" Juvia questioned, twirling around the room with the robe swaying around her.

"You're going to trip if you keep spinning around," Erza warned.

"They are nice, though," Lucy admitted.

There was a ringing in the air—the girls looked at Lisanna curiously.

"The boys want us to go to their room," Lisanna's eyes widened as she extended her phone out to the girls.

"Absolutely not," Erza refused instantly. "It's forbidden to go to the boys—"

"But don't you want to see Jellal in his robe?" Cana interrupted with a smirk. "Since the robes are big, it's probably really loose on him."

"But—"

"Come on, Erza! It'll be fun," Levy used her best convincing tone.

"Juvia needs to see Gray in his robe," Juvia begged.

Lucy stayed quiet as she watched Erza contemplate if they should go or not. She couldn't deny that she wanted to see how Natsu looked in his robe, too.

"Fine," Erza sighed in defeat. "We'll go for a few minutes."

"Yes!" the girls clamored together.

Since they only had thirty minutes left until lights needed to be out, the girls were aware they wouldn't be able to stay long. However, they were simply too curious to see how the boys looked in their robes.

Erza silently led the girls through the building as if she knew the hallways inside and out. Though it was to be expected since she was in charge of everything, after all.

It took about two minutes for the girls to get to the boys' room. Lucy couldn't believe how easy it was to get inside the separate building.

"Come on in," Natsu grinned as he opened the door for the girls.

The boys' room was identical to the girls' room, having tatami floors and traditional walls. The only difference was that in the boys' room clothes were everywhere.

"Of course, you boys have already made a mess," Cana shook her head in disapproval. "Have some decency for once!"

"They wouldn't listen to me," Jellal shrugged where he sat cross-legged on his futon.

"Flame-brain dumped his stuff everywhere as soon as we got our room," Gray scowled at Natsu.

"Are those cards?" Lisanna pointed at the deck sitting at the table.

"Oh, yeah, I brought them," Gajeel said. "Who wants to play?"

"Me!" Cana yelled.

"I'll play, too," Lucy nodded.

"Me too," Natsu chimed in.

With everyone else joining the card game, they rearranged the futons to make it easier for them to reach the cards.

As expected, they had lost track of time the moment they noticed that Cana was nearly a wizard when it came to cards. Forming a gigantic team against Cana, it was their mission to defeat her.

"When will you guys realize you can't beat me?" Cana snickered, expertly shuffling the deck of cards after winning another game.

They murmured in unison in response. Lisanna inhaled sharply when she caught a glimpse of the time.

"Guys, we only have two minutes until lights are supposed to be out!"

"Okay, we need to go now," Erza stated. "Girls, let's go."

The girls' eyes widened as they stood up from the floor. Their robes didn't allow them to move as fast as they would like, but they managed to move as fast as they could.

"Wait, Luce!" Natsu called out, causing her to freeze.

"What is it?" Lucy asked frantically. The girls were already out of the room, not noticing she was left behind.

"You dropped your necklace."

It took all of Lucy's strength to not dash out of the room like her body was telling her to. Instead, she walked up to him and retrieved her necklace.

"Thanks," she smiled in appreciation. "I'll be going now!"

But before Lucy could take another step, Gajeel quickly reported, "Teacher coming."

In the few seconds that it took for the lights to turn off and the boys to dive into their futons, Lucy felt her body become hauled into a futon and slammed into a chest. A blanket promptly came over her head.

There was a soft creak as the door slid open; Lucy had her eyes squeezed shut in fear.

She could hear her rapid heartbeat pounding against her chest. After a few deep breaths, she felt that the chest she was against had a heartbeat just as accelerated as hers.

There wasn't a lot of space in the futon; she was almost on top of him.

The door began to slide again and when it stopped, she felt Natsu breathe out in relief.

"That was close," his chest rumbled as he spoke. He lifted up the blanket to look down at her and check if she was okay.

The lights were still off as Lucy wiggled her way up the futon. She felt her way as she went, but her breath froze after feeling her lips skim across his chin.

"Sorry!" she whispered, her head poking out from the futon.

"For what?" he inquired—his eyes being the only thing visible.

"N-Nothing," she replied, grateful he didn't notice. Yet as the lights soon flipped on, it made her pause.

Natsu's cheeks were just as flushed as hers.

"Natsu, go take her to her room," Jellal ordered. "Don't get caught."

"Fine," he groaned, standing up. "If I don't come back, you know what happened to me."

"You couldn't have waited until tomorrow to give her the necklace?" Gray muttered.

"I'm happy he did," Lucy assured once she stood up from the futon. "I wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if I knew I had lost it."

Gray's eyes wavered slightly, crossing his arms and turning away.

"Okay, let's go," Natsu beckoned Lucy to follow her.

Nodding goodnight to the boys, she stealthily trailed behind Natsu through the silent hallway. She felt as if a teacher was going to randomly pop out any second.

Anxiety was the only thing pumping through Lucy's veins. She couldn't keep herself from holding onto the back of Natsu's robe.

"What are you doing?" he chuckled, looking over his shoulder at her.

"I-I'm anxious, okay?" she stammered bashfully.

"Here," he took her hand into his. Lucy's heart leapt into her throat at the assuring squeeze he gave her.

"Thanks," she mumbled.

Lucy soon realized that her anxiety was for nothing. They were outside in less than a minute with no troubles, and were about to enter the girls' building. That was until they heard footsteps.

Her mouth opened in surprise while she was swiftly taken to the back of the building. She crouched down with Natsu with their backs pressing against the wall.

Neither of them breathed as the voices and footsteps walked past them. Lucy watched their shadows with large eyes.

Just in case, they waited several minutes once the shadows disappeared. They turned to one another, their eyes both bright with alarm.

Then, with one blink, they burst out laughing.

"That was terrifying!" Lucy breathed out as she laughed. "I think my heart stopped!"

"I love doing stuff like this," Natsu grinned with twinkling eyes. "It's like we're in a movie or something."

"Definitely," she nodded with her own grin.

Helping her up, Natsu resumed to lead Lucy into her room. When she could see her room, she stopped walking.

"Thanks for bringing me."

"No problem," he replied with another hand squeeze. "See you in the morning."

"Goodnight," she waved as he left as quickly as they arrived. She could still feel the warmth of his hand.

Lucy felt incredibly vulnerable without him, so she hastily headed to her room and slid open the door.

"Lu-chan, you're here!" Levy shouted with relief.

"We didn't think you were going to make it!" Juvia wailed along with her.

"I'm here," Lucy said with a small smile. "I made it."

"I'm glad you didn't get caught," Erza sighed out.

"Me too," Lucy confessed.

The adrenaline from before left her body in an instant. With weak knees, she dropped into her futon.

"We should probably go to bed now," Lisanna stated. "We have to get up early tomorrow."

"Okay," the girls nodded. "Goodnight!"

As Erza turned off the light, the sole noises in the room were the girls getting comfortable in their futons and the chirping crickets outside. The silence lasted for about two minutes, being interrupted by Levy's soft giggles.

"We're not actually going to sleep, right?"

"Yes," Erza answered.

"Of course not!" Cana jumped up from her futon, rummaging in her duffle bag for something. Finding what she wanted, she pulled out an electric lantern.

"Is that what made your bag so big?" Lisanna inquired, rising from her futon.

"Yep," Cana grinned. "I brought it so we could see each other and talk without teachers knowing we're awake."

"Smart," Levy remarked.

"What are we going to talk about?" Juvia questioned. "Juvia has never been to a sleepover like this before."

"How about ghost stories?" Lisanna proposed.

"No," Lucy and Levy immediately refused. "I want to skip the nightmares tonight."

"How about…" Lisanna hummed as she thought. "Oh, I know! How about we each tell each other something nobody knows about you?"

"Juvia doesn't have anything to say," she pouted.

"Neither do I," Erza spoke.

"Hate to say I don't either," Cana shrugged. "Can we make something up?"

"Okay, okay," Lisanna waved them off. "How about we each tell each other one secret?"

The girls went quiet at the suggestion. Whether they admitted it or not, each of them at least had one secret.

Although, Lucy wasn't sure what her secret was. But after remembering her feelings for Natsu, she realized this was the time she could finally tell her friends.

"Juvia wants to marry Gray someday!"

"That's not a secret, Juvia," the girls rolled their eyes. "We already know that."

"Jellal and I haven't held hands yet," Erza was the next to speak.

"Really?!" Levy gasped in surprise.

"Levy, what's your secret?" Cana raised a brow at her reaction.

"U-Um," Levy gulped timidly, looking as though she was in the midst of having a panic attack. "Don't freak out, okay?"

Lucy tilted her head at Levy's tone. It was a tone she rarely used.

"Gajeel and I have been dating for two months!" Levy revealed in one breath.

At once, the girls' jaw dropped.

"Don't say anything!" she pleaded. "Gajeel doesn't want anyone to know."

"Are you serious?!" Cana howled, pounding her first on the floor. "Two months?! Together?!"

"Cana, be quiet or the teachers are going to come in," Erza scolded.

"Sorry, sorry," Cana wiped a tear away from her laughing. "That's a good one, Levy."

"It's the truth," she mumbled with a pout.

"Juvia, why don't you look as surprised as us?" Lisanna asked suspiciously.

"W-Well, Juvia has seen Gajeel and Levy at the convenience store together," Juvia explained slowly.

"You have?!" Levy sent her a horrified look. "I knew our hiding spot wasn't good enough!"

The girls giggled at their frantic friend; Lucy felt her chest warm up in happiness. It was obvious they were going to get together sooner or later.

"Okay, Lisanna, you go," Erza stated once the craze for Levy and Gajeel calmed down.

"Oh, me?" Lisanna laughed nervously with her finger scratching her cheek. "Well, okay."

She took a deep breath as though she needed to prepare herself for what she was going to reveal. Lucy leaned forward with interest. She hated to admit she nearly knew next to nothing about Lisanna.

However, what Lisanna said next, made Lucy's world stop.

"I'm going to confess to Natsu during the campfire tomorrow night."
