Author's note: I know it has been a while since I posted any new chapters on this and honestly I had forgotten about it. But a recent prompting from one of my friends to assist her in a competition prodded me to look back over this story after forgetting almost everything about it, and when I read over what I had already published I realized that it isn't half bad! So I looked over what I had written for the next chapter and thought "Wow, this isn't half bad! It's all bad!" So this is an entirely different chapter from the one I originally wrote, hope you like it.

Note: I am not of the owning of any of the Harry Potter series and am just glad that FanFiction is looked at by most authors as flattering (as long as we claim owning of nothing of the cannon story line)

Present

Marcus awoke to find that the girl was gone, he hadn't even had the strength or clear mindedness to ask what her name was.

He resolved that he would see her around sometime and pushed it out of his mind for the time being.

Madam Pomfrey come to his side, "Oh, you're awake, good now we can get started!"

"Started with what?" Marcus responded.

"With your treatment of course!"

She proceeded to poke and prod Marcus with her wand, Marcus got a strange sensation wherever she poked, he knew this sensation well, being on the Quidditch team, especially the Slytherin team, he had broken many bones before.

"There," she exclaimed, "Your bones are good as new, maybe even better, but it will still take a few days for you to get your strength back, I can't imagine what effects a Dementor has on a person's musculature."

Marcus was about to respond when she cut him off, "Yes, that means no Quidditch."

He was about to respond, but they had played this game before with broken bones, and she always won, so he gave up on arguing.

Instead Marcus asked a question, "Who was that girl who was in here earlier?"

"I guess you hit your head harder than you thought if you couldn't even remember your own girlfriend!" she began examining Marcus' head for signs of blunt force trauma when Marcus interjected.

"No, not Melody, the other girl, the Gryffindor girl."

"I don't know who you are talking about, you have been the only one here for the past day and I haven't allowed any visitors, except Melody, she was very insistent."

Marcus thought this over for a while, while Madam Pomfrey began to clean up around his bed. If she hadn't been a patient here than why was she here? Who was she?

"You're free to go whenever you feel strong enough, just remember to give it a few days before doing anything physically stressful." And with that she left the room.

Marcus was about to get up and leave when Dumbledore walked in. Marcus immediately knew that he wouldn't be going anywhere until Dumbledore got a chance to talk to him.

Marcus felt that unreasonable hate bubble up inside him again.
