Hiding In Her Closet
The sun peeped out of the horizon, shining its bright rays over New Townsville. It was a peaceful morning inside a certain green-eyed girl's room.
Kaoru slowly got up from underneath her bed sheets and stretched her stiff arms. As soon as she turned her head to the window, she noticed that it was completely open. In confusion, she furrowed her eyebrows and rubbed at her eyes to think that it is an illusion.
Blinking, it wasn't. Kaoru cocked her head to the side. "I thought I shut it before I slept." She climbed off the bed and shut it halfway to keep the air flow going. "Might as well take a shower…," she mumbled. She took some time to look out her window as thoughts ran through her head.
Later leisurely trekking down to her closet and opening it, Kaoru opened it to reveal…
"Oh my God! What the hell?!" she screeched, stepping back from what contains inside. Her one-and-only counterpart smiled sheepishly. She practically pulled him out and glared at him.
"Butch, what the fuck do you think you're doing?!" The boy winced and covered his ears from her loud voice.
Coughing awkwardly, he said, "God, you're more louder than your own hammer." Rolling her eyes, she put a hand on her hip and shook her head.
"What's the reason why you're here?"
Kaoru was impatient, wanting to hear what this bastard has to say. Mustering up the courage to speak out, he locked gazes with her only to make his face flush. Butch blurted out the "forbidden words" to her. The facial expression on Kaoru's face drastically dropped. These words were a first to hear. Especially when it came from this boy.
A slight stutter was heard and he repeated his words with pride, "Kaoru Matsubara, I fallen head over heels for you! Do you feel the same way as me?" The first reaction she had was the she slapped him across the face with the back of her palm.
Butch fell to the ground, holding his left cheek where a red imprint was marked. Just by her awkward position, he could tell that she was also flustered at the sudden confession. Kaoru maintained her strong persona and stood with her back straight. She looked like a bully staring down at her victim, except that she was a hero and all that.
Her green eyes glinted in the sunlight that came through the window. "Why were you stalking me at that time of day?!" she screeched. It's great that no one was home at the time or else they would've woken up in an instant. He was hesitating and avoiding eye contact. Her impatience was getting the best of her. "Just tell me!"
"It's because I love you!"
She glared through his soul. "You, Butch... are stalking me." He opened his mouth and before he could speak, Kaoru added, "Don't even think of coming through the window again." She threw her hands in the air dramatically.
On his face was a slight pout. Her arm directly pointed to the closed window and eyed him with slanted eyes. Butch made his way to it and opened it, taking one final glance at Kaoru who wasn't even observing him. Without a word, he disappeared.
Upon hearing the silence, Kaoru muttered, "Likes me, hm? Of course that idiot would." She turned to the bathroom door and entered.

Sorry for the long hiatus. High school started a month ago for me and things are really difficult. I'm a freshman, just to let you guys know. I miss writing for all of you who loved my stories, but I am getting better everyday so I'll try and update at any time. Expect a lot more from me because I'm improving in almost everything... hopefully xD
