[[Sequel to "The Tangling"]] Astrid is on the run, chained to a woman who was once her mother, and trying to fight back the tears because Hiccup is dead (or so she thinks). Hiccup is down one leg, about to lead his country into a civil war he never saw coming, and trying to find his dragon and the girl who is probably the love of his life. And they still have massive trust issues.

A discovery of a new, mysterious object unlocks new adventures and new enemies that no one sees coming. (This story is adopted from Skylight369, I'm gonna finish her story for her since she's been inactive for almost 2 years, so I'll finish what she start.)
