A/N: Alright so here's chapter two! Much longer, and hopefully better! I'm hoping to post a chapter every 1-2 weeks! Constructive criticism is welcome and please no hate! Thanks for reading and enjoy!

Jordan's POV

"What the hell!" Jordan shouted. Her paralysis had finally worn off enough so she could speak clearly.

Zynch had been sitting on a crate browsing his inventory. He closed his menu and retorted, "I'm sorry I could save the other one! I did what I could!"

She sat up, tears still stung her eyes and they were caused by more than just smoke. "Then you should've saved her! She was my sister you –"she was cut off by Zynch holding his hand to her mouth.

He put a silent finger to his lips, gesturing to her to stay quiet. A soft screaming seemed to be getting closer and louder by the second. Jordan looked up to see a body falling from the sky. She mumbled something through the hand covering her face, but too late. The body fell on top of them both. A small crater formed around them as the impact was that hard. Jordan groaned. She brushed a strand of purple hair from her face to see a girl about a year older than her. Her health bar was in the red. The name listed above it read "Ivy". "Ow." Zynch mumbled, slowly rising. Jordan groggily got to her feet as well. Zynch pulled a healing potion from his inventory and fed it to the girl. Her health bar slowly rose and she sat straight up, fear in her eyes.

"Must move, now!" She screamed, and ran straight into the wall of the alley.

She fell back on to her bottom dazed. "Hey! Over here!" came a shout from just outside the alley way.

"Great." Jordan grumbled.

They had been found thanks to the visitor from the sky. Footsteps could be heard racing towards them.

"Let's go, now!" Zynch yelled and pulled out a teleport crystal.

He threw one to Jordan and grabbed Ivy's arm.

"Floor 16!" he shouted and disappeared in a ball of light. The players in the dark cloaks were closing in. Jordan had no choice but to follow. She repeated the phrase and was taken from the ground, right before arms closed around her.

Floor 16 wasn't anything amazing. It was hot, dry, and sandy. The spawn point was in a village built around an oasis. NPC's walked around carrying on with whatever they were programmed to do. Very few players came to this floor because there was nothing useful to do here. Jordan scanned the area and found no player ID's anywhere nearby. Zynch was scrolling through his menu screen while Ivy was face down in the sand. The sun was slowly sinking behind the desert dunes and the sky glowed in hues of pink and orange. Jordan walked over to Ivy and poked her.

"Hey." She greeted in a friendly tone. Ivy turned herself over in the sand, her eyes unfocused.

"You're gonna get sand in your hair." She said picking up a strand of Ivy's sand filled hair. She didn't respond.

"I'm Jordan."

Still nothing. Zynch walked over, his feet sinking into the sand with every step. He had changed into a grey checkered jacket and jeans in place of his burned pj's.

"We should get inside. There's an inn up ahead according to the map." He said pointing in the direction of the town.

"Can you walk?" Jordan asked Ivy.

She nodded her head and stood up. They entered an old clay building. Zynch had enough money for a room and some food. He took the key and unlocked the door to a small room with only two beds. A table with some bread and milk stood between them, and a hall leading to a small bathroom on the right of the room. Zynch plopped down on one of the beds. Ivy sat down on the edge of the other, deep in thought. Jordan walked over to the bathroom to wash up. She shut the door behind her and turned on the sink to splash water on her face. What just happened? One moment I'm reading bedtime stories to my sister, then the next she's gone. A tear slid down her face. I promised her we would make it out together. We would see mom and dad again. She started sobbing. A knock came to the door before Ivy walked in. She walked over to sobbing Jordan and hugged her. It shocked her at first, but eventually she gave in and cried on Ivy's comforting shoulder. The rest of the night was uneventful. Jordan curled up on the bed, and Ivy shared it with her.

Thump – thump - thump. Someone was knocking. Jordan groggily crawled out of bed. The sun outside showed it was around 9 in the morning. She rubbed her eye and cautiously opened the door a crack. Then the door was kicked up, knocking Jordan to the floor. A sharp, black blade was poised at her face.

"You're coming with me!" yelled a lady in a black cloak.
