Chapter 6

Lucy's P.O.V.

It's the morning of the Grand Magic Games. I woke up extra early to get a bath and go on a walk.

After my bath, I put on a white tank top, a pair of jean shorts, and white tennis shoes. Quickly, I dried my hair and slowly, silently, made my way out of the hotel room. but just as I reached the door, I heard Cherry call out to me.

"Lucy, take these earrings." she said groggily , holding up a pair of white studded earrings. "They help your hearing and they allow you to contact me. Just say my name and I'll answer." I took the earrings, put them on, and quickly said "Thank you, Cherry."

"See you later." She mumbled tiredly.

I waved to her as I walked out into the hall. Going down the stairs, I started to think about what Jared and Derek had said yesterday.

*flashback*

Jared and Derek walked through the door to the boys' room. I was making dinner while Ren, Laxus, Cherry and Olive sat on the big black couch.

"Lucy-san~" The twins sang.

"What?" I asked with an irritated huff.

"Guess what! Mr. Salamander liiiiikes you!" Jared said, sounding like Happy when he said 'like'.

"So?" I asked.

"He said that his whole guide misses you being there. Also, didn't you notice Fairy Tail's not as rowdy as when you were in it?" Derek said. "It's a boring guild now."

"Sure, it is." I said in disbelief.

"Natsu said something else... What was it he said, Derek?" Jared asked in a teasing tone.

"I do not know, Jared. What did he say?" Derek questioned in the same teasing tone.

"He said..." Jared started, "He looooves you!"

*end flashback*

"Love?" I laughed. "Sure he does." I said bitterly.

I'm finally outside! I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Thinking about a certain pink haired idiot hurts my head.

"Hey! Give those back!" A young girl protested.

I quickly turned towards the voice and saw a little girl who looked to be just a little younger than Wendy.

"Give them back!" She just about yelled.

Her long, curly, blond hair ended just bellow her knees. Since she had her back to me, I couldn't see her eyes, but I saw that she had flats on. She looked like a mini-me. You know, with longer, curlier hair.

The girl took a deep breath and let out an ear-splitting scream. Some glass shattered. The guys who were bullying were thrown back a few feet from the force of the sound waves.

I waited for my ears to stop ringing. If I had been in front of her, I would have ended up unconscious with the two now laying on the ground.

"Gaul, you're loud." I groaned, rubbing my ear.

"Eek!" She semi-shrieked, jumping around in surprise. Her dark purple eyes were wide in surprise.

I giggled at her reaction. Yeah, I got a real girly-girl side too.

"What guild are you from?" I asked.

"I'm not from a guild" she told me after recovering from her initial shock. "Who are you anyway?"

"I'm Lucy!" I replied, knowing she would most likely know who I am since I'm in all the magazines concerning Griffen Wing.

"Griffen Wing's spokeswoman?" She asked. When I nodded she asked "Do you think I could join?"

"Why not?" I said. "Come on!"

I grabbed her hand and started to drag her towards the hotel my guild is staying in. A familiar voice caught my attention as we passed one of the buildings.

"We can definitely beat Lamia Scale and Quatro Cerberus, but Griffen Wing seems to have a few strong members." I recognize the voice as Erza's.

"There's also Saber Tooth, Fairy Tail B, and Raven Tail." This voice definitely belongs to Gray.

"What if one of us have to fight Lucy?" I think Natsu said this.

It was silent for a moment, then I heard Erza speak up again. "Then fight."

I'm not sure if I'm pleased or disappointed with her answer. The smaller blond girl tugged on my arm, reminding me that I was taking her to the hotel to meet my guild. We started walking again when I remembered something. "Hey, what's your name?"

She looked up at me and said "Agatha." Then we both walked the rest of the way to the hotel in silence.
