{Hey, everyone! I know it's been such a long time since I updated on this. So sorry, fans! I keep forgetting to post this chapter, that's why. Anyway, This is one of the last chapters I have planned for this story. Yup, this story is coming to an end soon! If you have more suggestions, though, feel free to ask me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!}

Romano found himself smiling as Elena rubbed his head. Her hands were so soft compared to Spain's rough and strong ones. He put his hand to her stomach and felt the child move inside her. What was it going to be, a boy or a girl? Elena smiled.

"We'll find out soon, Romano, don't you worry about a thing."

"Who'sa worried?" Romano frowned and turned away, crossing his arms. "I'm sure not!" Elena giggled and pulled Romano into an embrace. It made Romano blush.

"I know you're going to be a good brother, Romano."

"Okay, okay, you don't have to get all mushy!" Romano frowned and pushed her away. Elena only smiled and giggled.

"Uh...I'm going to go see what Spain is up to!" Romano quickly left her and went to look for Spain.

Romano found him polishing the weapons in the basement. Spain smiled as he saw Romano enter the room.

"Oh, hello, Nino! Be careful in here, I'm working with the weapons."

"Don'ta call me 'Nino', I'a don't like'a it anymore!" Romano siad in annoyance. This made Spain laugh a little.

"Oh, I get it. When you're younger sibling comes you no longer want to be treated like a little kid. I get that," he said with a wink. Romano said nothing and looked away.

"Okay, so it's a promise," Spain nodded. "From now on I'll call you Romano. How does that sound?"

"Better than 'Nino'," Romano said with a shrug. It was then that they heard Elena cry out from above and the two stared at each other a moment. Then Spain made a dash up the stairs with Romano following quickly behind.

They found Elena on the floor and breathing heavily. Spain rushed to her side.

"Elena, are you okay?! What happened?" he asked her in Spanish.

"Our baby is here," Elena told her quietly. Spain picked her up and carried her to their bedroom and laid her down on the bed. He turned to Romano.

"Romano, run and get the doctor. He'll know what to do." Romano looked scared and didn't want to leave. Spain put a hand on his shoulder.

"I know you're scared for Elena right now, Romano. But this is really important. We're counting on you, now go, and quickly!" Romano nodded and ran out the door and down the street as quickly as he could.

"It'sa all up to me! I won't fail you, Spain and Elena. I'll make sure that doctor is here before your baby is here!"

Romano dashed into the doctor's office and started screaming and running around frantic like.

"It'sa Elena! The bambini is'a here!" The doctor looked up and smiled.

"Hold on there, little one! Slow down, what happened?" Romano calmed down and told the doctor what was wrong. He nodded and grabbed a suitcase.

"Okay, then. Let's go see what we can do about the new little one."

Romano lead him back to Spain's casa. The doctor told Spain and Romano to wait outside while he delivered Elena's baby.

Spain trembled and rubbed his hair. Romano could tell that he was worried. Spain was even holding on tightly to a Crucifix he held in his hand. He bowed his head and Romano heard him whispering a prayer.

Romano wasn't sure what to do, but wait. That's all they could do. And Elena's screams of pain was echoing from the room.

Romano looked down at his feet dangling over the side of the couch. He to decided to say a prayer, so he folded his hands and prayed really hard.

"Please, God! Help Elena and her bambini! Make sure they're alright, please!"

A few moments later, the doctor walked out with a smile. Spain was hyperventilating by now.

"Well, is Elena alright?! And the baby?!"

"Yes, Mr. Antonio. Your wife is fine. The delivery was a success. You have a daughter."

Spain ran to the bedroom with Romano quickly following.

Elena was smiling at a bundle wrapped in her arms. Spain kissed his wife and he gently held his daughter close. He smiled at Romano.

"Romano, come meet your new sister." Romano walked up and climbed onto the bed. He looked down at his sister's blue eyes and he couldn't help but smile. She was pretty cute.

"We have to name her," Spain said, almost excitedly. Elena smiled.

"I like Nina."

Romano shrugged.

"Yeah, why not'a?"

"Alright, then. Nina it is," Spain said and he cuddled her close to his face. Romano couldn't help but feel as if he had a responsibility to his baby sister.

"I need to protect her," he thought to himself. "She'sa my sister."
