Over the next few weeks, Romano made sure to keep a close watch on his sister, She was so young and fragile, after all. And Spain and Elena were often busy with other things around the house, so Romano was usually the babysitter in those situations.

Romano cradled his baby sister Nina in his arms and he sometimes fussed when Elena or Spain would take over. He always claimed that he was fine when taking care of her, so he like to protect her.

But today, she was fussing and Romano couldn't get her to stop. Elena must have heard and noticed how Romano was trying his hardest and walked over.

"She probably needs a change," she said and Romano gave her Nina. While Elena was gone and changing Nina, Romano waited impatiently. He waned to hold his sister again, he had fallen in love with her.

Elena came back a few minutes later and gave Nina back to Romano. Romano took her eagerly and held her close to him. Elena smiled and went back to working with the laundry.

Spain came in a few minutes later, and he smelled like garbage because of the sweat. But he was wearing a smile, as always.

"Ah, Romano! I see you're taking care of your little sister, si?" he said as he patted Romano on the head. Romano nodded with a smile.

"I'd love to take her now, but I don't think she will like my smell," Spain said before leaving the room to take a shower. He returned 5 minutes later and held his daughter close in his arms.

Normally, Romano would hate not having the attention, but his sister was an exception.

"Why don't we go to the park later?" Spain suggested at the dinner table. Elena smiled.

"Come to think of it, I would love to enjoy the fresh air. I've been cooped up in the house with work lately, I miss the outdoors."

So the family of four took a drive to the park soon after dinner. Elena took Nina out of her car seat while Spain took out the stroller. They took a walk around the park for a while, and Romano stayed as close as he could to the stroller.

"If I didn't know any better, Romano, I would say that you are in love with your baby sister," Spain chuckled. Elena laughed too. Romano blushed.

"It's nothing like'a that! I just want to keep her safe."

The sun was beginning to set and they soon piled in the car and went home.

At bedtime, Romano hugged his parents and kissed his sister goodnight. She was so cute, Romano would do anything for her.

"Nina is my sister, so I'll protect her no matter what."
