Ok. So I am letting you all off the hook and updating a little early. OMG I went to the haunted corn maze Friday! It was so fun! Please review more. I'll give y'all a hint, if you review more, I update faster. Get it? Reviews is all it is about nowadays. I'll stop harpen on ya and get to the story.

OH! real quick, I do wanna start answerin some questions on here. So I'll do a test. In this chappy I'll do it in the beginning. In the next chappy, the end. Yall tell me how ya like it in next chappy's reviews.

GUEST- question, are you going to make natsu OOC like weak or similar to that or the strong and wild natsu we all know? Well, me answer to this is... a little bit of both. He will be OC but in some cases he will be more OOC to fit the story line. Does that make sense? If there is anything else ya need, just give me a message!

Natsu and co. had just gotten back from Iran. As soon as they jumped off the boat, Levy, Romeo, Laxus, and their weapons went to Makarov for their reward. Natsu slumped over in the La-z-boy while everyone else was either sulking in a corner or on the oversized couch.

"I still don't get it. I clearly saw Lucy stab him first. So why did it go to Lisanna?" Gray asked. He understood Natsu's depression about it. But instead of crying like a baby, he would get answers.

"Besides, wasn't Lisanna on the other side of Mohammad? How did she get there so fast?" Juvia wondered.

But no one answered their questions. They were thinking about different things. Well, Lucy, Natsu, and Jellal were thinking the same thing. Erza on the other hand was still thinking about her and Lucy's conversation at the graveyard. How could Lucy be that calm? Shouldn't the thought of turning mad want to get help? I want to tell everyone so we can all help her but I promised. No! Stop sulking, Erza. You can help her. All I have to do is be there for Lucy whenever she needs me.

"-a. -za. Erza!" Erza jumped out of her thoughts and turned to the speaker of the voice.

"Sorry Jellal. What were you saying?"

"Nothing. But now that you mention it. What if we are being tested? I mean, what if the reward was something that we just don't need." Jellal explained.

The more Lucy thought about that plan, the more it made sense. Her group practiced for what felt like a month to her. Maybe the reward was a practice of some sort? It seemed, Lucy noticed, that everyone agreed to the explanation. Lucy looked towards her meister. He was still down but after Jellal's explanation, he seemed more okay.

"It's getting late. You can all stay over if you want. But I think it's best to just sleep this off. We can see if our theories are right tomorrow."

Lucy awoke to an arm hitting her. She didn't even try to freak out. She turned to her side and found her suspicions were correct. Erza was right beside her. Lucy knew that she had a queen bed, but that still didn't stop her from pushing her off. So she didn't have to suffer a yelling Erza so early in the morning, she "Fell" back asleep.

"I know your awake, Lucy. I would've done the same thing you did." she said. Lucy widened her eyes. She did not expect Erza of all people to say that.

"Did everyone stay over?" was all Lucy asked.

"No. just me. I wanted to see if you had another madness attack" Erza said. Lucy instantly fumed.

"Why? This is why I didn't want to tell anyone! Because I don't like people worrying about me!" Lucy yelled at her.

"Don't give me that shit, Lucy. Your terrified, admit it. I'm your friend, Lucy. So whether you like it or not you are getting my damn help"

Lucy stopped breathing. She was shocked that someone could care this much about her. "Why!? Why do you care!? None of you are my friends! If it haven't have been for me getting paired up with that idiot," Lucy pointed in the direction of Natsu's room, "None of you would even be acknowledging me! You admit it, Erza. Natsu would still hate me and you all would follow him and feel the same way!"

Lucy was in tears now. Erza's eyes were widened. Not because of what Lucy said about her, but because of how wrong she was. Erza walked up to her friend and pulled her into a hug. They were like that for thirty minutes until Lucy fell back asleep. Erza picked up her friend and layed her back into bed, whispering to her.

"I understand now Lucy. Your alone. Well no more. Believe it or not Lucy, we are all your friends especially me. I will always be your friend, just know that."

Natsu heard the whole thing. From Erza telling Lucy not to give her shit, to Lucy crying and Erza whispering soothing thoughts to her after she put her to bed. Erza walked out of Lucy's room and noticed Natsu.

"What all did you hear?" Erza asked. Natsu told her and she felt all the worry fall from her sholders. Erza looked at Natsu and beckoned him to the living room. She sat down the La-z-boy and Natsu sat on the couch.

"Erza. I really hate to say this, but she's right on one thing. If we never got partnered together, I would still hate her. I never would have gotten the chance to get to know her or to even fall for her" Natsu said. The only thing Erza processed was "Or even fall for her." Does that mean Natsu, the dense idiot, fell for someone that wasn't Lisanna? But on the other note, she remembered the words "I would still hate her."

"Natsu. Events happened the way they did for a reason. Maybe Mavis didn't want you two to hate each other for the rest of your lives. Or Makarov for that matter. He paired you up for a reason. And he paired Lisanna with Laxus for a reason." After Erza said that, she got up and walked to the front door. Natsu didn't say anything about her leaving so he let her go. He wanted to process his thoughts alone anyway.

It was noon and all drama was forgotten about. Team Natsu was walking to the academy to greet the previous mission's winners. When they arrived at the academy, Jellal's theory was proven true. But that didn't stop them from feeling jealous. Levy's group was having a special training session with none other than Gildarts and Mira. To say Natsu was furious was an understatement.

Gildarts was Natsu's role model. Like Lucy wanted to defeat Mira in battle one day, Natsu wanted the same for himself and Gildarts. As they stood there watching, Makarov came over to them.

"Gramps why did you call us out here? They clearly don't need our help with special training" Natsu said. Makarov seemed to let the question hang in the air. Then after a few seconds, finally decided to answer.

"All I said was that the winners got to train with Gildarts. Which, by the way, I never said anything about that until after I found out who won. If your team had won, Natsu, then you wouldn't even be training with him. No matter what position, you all still would have been stuck with me" Makarov explained. This time the teens let it disperse into the air.

"Well fuck me. What are we? Your favorites?" Lucy smirked.

"I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. Now follow me" Makarov said.

"Holy crap! That was the most brutal thing I've ever done in my life"Lucy said. Everyone agreed with her. If they didn't, it would be as if they are into the whole "pain" thing. All Lucy wanted to do right now was take a nice, long, steaming hot shower. But NO! Natsu and his moronic friends decided they were hungry at eleven at night. So now, Lucy is stuck making food.

"And will someone please remind me," Lucy pointed her finger at the group, "What they are doing here. Don't you guys have your own hang out joint" Lucy demanded.

"Well, yes we do. But after our special training session with Gildarts, we thought we'd all come over and tell you all about it" Lisanna has been gloating about the special training ever since they got to the apartment. In all honesty, Lucy was ready to jump her and break many bones right then and there. But she had many witnesses, so she would have to rain-check that thought. Even her own teammates are getting sick and tired of it, Lucy thought.

It was true. The expressions in Laxus and Gajeel's faces were almost terrifying. They were Lisanna's own teammates and they wanted to shut her up. Lisanna finally noticed the mood and decided to quit talking about it... for now. Erza, sensing Lucy's blossoming anger, decided to help her out.

"Calm down Lucy. We don't need you having another attack" Erza said.

"Erza... they only happen like that either when I'm dreaming or in my weapon form. Besides, we're lucky they didn't hear about our training with Makarov. I wish I could gloat in her face to get her to shut up. But nope, Makarov told us to keep quiet" Lucy complained. Erza laughed and started helping cut veggies.

Meanwhile, in the living room...

Natsu was excited about hearing the training story with Gildarts. But despite all of it, he was getting annoyed with Lisanna bragging about it. Natsu came to the conclusion that she had a really fun time and just couldn't hold in her joy. But, even to him, that inward explanation was to good to be true. But he didn't let it bother him. He rather liked the story his best friend was telling.

Everything Lisanna talked about, all the new moves and strategies, he tried to memorize as best as he could. He wanted to know what to talk about with Gramps next time he saw him.

"Then he taught us a new trick for resonance link!" Lisanna said as Lucy and Erza came in with food. There was spicy garlic chicken, assorted veggies, and cornbread.

"Wow Lucy. Juvia thanks you" Juvia said as she bowed in her spot. Lucy smiled and Juvia knew that was the only response she was getting. Everyone followed Juvia's example and said their thank you's. After everyone got their food, Lucy went back to the kitchen to get her own plate. When she go to the living room, she noticed there were no other spots to sit.

Lucy tsked and went over to where Natsu was on the La-z-boy. "Scoot" was all she said and Natsu did as told. It was cramped, but it would have to do, Lucy decided.

"This is so good Lu-chan! You should be a chef. Your food is amazing enough that you'd make it for sure in that business!" Levy said. Lucy smiled, a genuine one this time, and replied.

"Thanks Lev."

"Finally! everyone's gone!" Lucy yelled out. Natsu laughed, but Lucy didn't pay attention to it. She looked around the apartment, checking to see if she forgot to do anything. Dishes...no I made Natsu and Gray do those. I feel like I'm forgetting something, but what? Lucy thought.

"What's wrong Luce?" Natsu asked.

"Am I forgetting something? Anything at all?" she asked. Natsu looked around the apartment. It took him a while, but he finally found it.

"Oh! You forgot to give Levy her book back" he said. Lucy snapped her fingers.

"Damn. Oh well, I'll give it back to her tomorrow. In the meantime, Ima go and take a shower" Lucy said.

Natsu smirked as he saw her go into the bathroom. He waited until he heard the shower get turned on. He snickered to himself. This is for making me do dishes with that stripper, he thought. Natsu put his hand on the doorknob and slowly turned.

When he got it open just enough for him to squeeze through, he did a victory dance in his head. He would take a picture of her and use it for blackmail so he would never have to do the dishes again. Ever since Natsu was a boy, he's hated the chore. He doesn't really know why, just does.

Natsu took out his phone, went to camera, closed his eyes, and took the picture. But before he could, the phone was harshly snatched from his grasp. He gasped and opened his eyes, only to find Lucy there in all her glory.

What made him scared was her expression. She didn't seem mad at all. No, quite the opposite. She had this sadistic smile on her face. Lucy crushed his phone into smithereens and let go if the pieces in front of his face.

"Natsu" was all she said as he started backing away.

Pain. So much pain! Natsu woke up for the new day with bruises and cuts all over his body. What made it all worse was that she did it all naked. I got beaten up by a naked girl, Natsu thought. His pride was broken.

"You tried to blackmail me so you could get out of dishes for the rest of your life?" Lucy had very darkly said, "Well guess what? Your dumb ass just got stuck with them. Dishes is from now on your main goal in life, got it? Aside from other things, of course."

Natsu sighed he got stuck with dishes for life AND other chores that he normally wouldn't have to be doing. But it was worth it.

Natsu went back to the image of Lucy's naked body over his while she punched him. The image didn't stay long though.

"Natsu. Get up. We have practice with Makarov soon" Lucy said from her room. Natsu yelled back a response and, painfully, rolled out of bed, wincing when he did it. Natsu decided he would not give into his pain! He was going to show Lucy that she didn't permanently damage his pride. He got dressed and walked into the living room, his head held high.

"Good morning Lucy" He said. Lucy looked at him, impressed he wasn't groveling at the pain.

"Morning."

When Lucy and Natsu got to the academy, they noticed they were the last ones to arrive.

"Nice of you two to joi- Natsu what happened?" Erza asked.

"Long story" he said. Erza decided to drop it and they all got on with the day's lesson.

When they were done, they decided to go to Fairy Tail and get lunch there. When they walked in, they were attacked by shouts and applause. Lucy looked around and noticed two of Levy's friends, Jet and Droy, in a fight with some strangers.

"You'll regret talking about Levy that way you bastard!" Jet yelled. Lucy sweat dropped, of course this was about Levy.

"Good thing Gajeel ain't here" Lucy muttered to herself. As she watched the fight grow into a one-sided battle, the stranger winning, the stranger opened his mouth and spoke.

"Why? It's true ain't it? The only reason she has Gajeel for a partner must be because she's whoring up to him. Either that or stalking him. There's no way in hell someone as strong and Gajeel would partner up with someone as weak as Levy."

This guy just dug his own grave.

Lucy saw red after he said that. Unlike all the other morons she hangs out with, besides Erza, Levy was one of her closest friends. There was no way in hell this guy was getting away with what he said. She walked up to the fight, told Jet and Droy to get the fuck away, and punched the stranger straight in the nose.

"You bitch!" he said, blood making it hard to speak properly. He took his weapon, a good-sized sword with an olive hilt, and swung it towards Lucy. She, of course, ducked away in time and swung her leg out, making the stranger fall on his butt.

Lucy got up and walked over to him, still only seeing red. "Don't ever talk about my friend like that again, got it? Or else next time you wont get away with just a broken nose and a broken arm" she said.

"Broken ar- Gyaaaa!" the stranger screamed. Lucy lifted her foot back up and walked to her group.

"What happened?" Lucy looked behind her and saw Levy's group.

"Hey Lis. Some guy was talking trash about Levy and Lucy beat him up" Natsu told her. Gajeels face darkened.

"What did he say" he demanded.

"He said that Levy was slutting up to up to you and stalking you so that's why your her partner" Lucy said. It wasn't exactly the truth, but Lucy thinks Gajeel needs a turn. Gajeels face darkened. He cracked his knuckles and walked over to the stranger.

OK. this was more of a filler chapter than anything else. I liked Natsu's plan to no longer do dishes. I hope you all liked this short, but funny chapter.
