Hey guys! Remember to review on what yall think about me answering some of yalls reviews. Also, I have made a decision! Unless I say other wise, I will be updating every other weekend! I would do it every weekend, but on the weekend with my dad, he doesn't really give me the time. Unfortunately, this time is the exception. I was really busy this month. A shit load'a projects got to be got done! haha

A sound soul

Dwells within a sound mind

And a sound body

There was a white house with a lush, green yard. On the front porch was a tall man with fire red hair and pitch black eyes. Next to him is a slightly shorter man with raven hair and black, soulless eyes. There was a little boy, playing with his blue cat, watching the two adults talk.

"Igneel, you know what needs to be done. And I assure you, I will find a way to make it happen" the man said to little Natsu's father.

"What you don't seem to comprehend is that I'll never agree to your absurd plan involving Natsu and Wendy. They're just children! Let them wait until they're older to decide themselves" Igneel shouted.

"They are of no use to me older. They need to start off young, or else they'll never master what they need to do. Natsu and Wendy aren't the only children we are trying to gather. There are three more" the stranger said.

Natsu didn't understand what his dad and the stranger meant. Why did the bad man want him and his stster? Natsu didn't want to go! Natsu ran up to his dad and clung onto his leg, "I don't wanna leave you! I like it here with you and Happy!" Little Natsu cried.

Igneel looked at his son with sadness pooling in his eyes, he bent down to Natsu's level and picked him up. He stayed like that for a few minutes, him holding his son in his arms and Happy looking up worriedly at Natsu.

"No. Go back to whatever hole you and your school crawled out of" Igneel said and put Natsu down, "Go to your sister" Natsu, reluctantly, nodded his head and went inside. But before he did, he glanced back at the stranger. He regretted it the moment he did it. The bad man looked at him, his eyes changing from black, to blood red. Natsu ran off into the house to Wendy's room. The last thing he remembered was...

"ZEREF!"

And then the explosion.

Natsu gasped as he quickly sat up, sweat making his clothes stick to his body and him breathing heavily. He hadn't had that dream since before he became Lucy's partner. Natsu sighed and rolled out of bed, narrowly missing the corner of his nightstand.

After the explosion, Igneel was never seen again. Natsu even left his own sister, his five year old sister, at the orphanage so he could find him. Needless to say, it failed. Then, in the few months he was gone, he had to search for Wendy. Happy and Carla disappeared with his father. Natsu fell apart; he ended up finding Wendy, who had run away to their burned down house, a week after he started searching for her.

"What's wrong Natsu? Your breathing heavy" Lucy said, knocking him out of his thoughts. Natsu looked over at his partner, who's right now making omelets.

"Bad dream" was all he said. And it was all it took for Lucy to stop asking questions and continue to make their breakfast. After Lucy was done, they ate, they finished, and they went back to their rooms.

Natsu didn't say a word the whole time.

DING-DONG

"I'll get it!" Wendy yelled to her meister. When she opened the door, her brother was there, bags under his eyes, and he looked like he saw a ghost. "You had the dream again didn't you" Wendy said. Natsu nodded and walked inside her apartment.

In fact, Natsu has been having the dream for a week straight. He sat down in his sister's living room and put his head in his hands.

"I'm sorry, Wen. For leaving you alone in that damn orphanage while I went to find dad and the cats. I shouldn't have done that" Natsu said. Wendy smiled softly at her brother and started rubbing his back in small circles.

"I understood why you did it Natsu and I forgive you. Now go home to Lucy and tell her about the dreams so she can help you. I'm sure if you give her the chance, she'll find a way to help" Wendy said. She stood up and beckoned Natsu to the door. Natsu sighed and smiled.

"Thanks Wen." Natsu didn't know how, but she really did help him

"Okay ya damn baby. I've been holding out on the questions for a week, a week, Natsu, tell me now or I swear to god forever hold your peace" Lucy said as soon as Natsu walked through the front door. Natsu chuckled softly as he saw what she was wearing. A black apron with bats decorating it and spaghetti sauce spattered on it, looking like blood.

"Alright" Natsu said. He told her about his dream. When he was done, to say Lucy was pissed was an understatement.

"That's why you've been in a bad mood this week? A dream?! Natsu, it was just a dream. Given, the dream was reality a few years back but that's just what it is, the past. You have to face your fears head on and punch it in the balls. If you can't do that then you'll be forever haunted" Lucy said as she got up to stir the spaghetti. Natsu smiled at his partner and decided his sister was right, Lucy really did help him.

KNOCK KNOCK

Lucy was having an epiphany. Just weeks before, didn't this same heart-wrenching wake up call occur? Lucy decided it was all her imagination and closed her eyes, only to hear, KNOCK KNOCK "NATSU" after it.

"Natsu...Lucy... get yall's asses up!" she heard Gray's annoying voice.

"Gray go the fuck away!" she heard Natsu yell. Lucy chuckled to herself. After all, it was her fault they both had too much to drink last night...

Flashback

"Natsu, dinner's ready" Lucy called to her meister.

"Alright" he called back. After he got to the kitchen and grabbed his food, Lucy called to him.

"You wanna drink?" Lucy had a suggesting gleam in her eyes. A look Natsu did not like. Instead of running away, which Lucy guessed he wanted to do, he asked,

"What's the occasion?"

"Getting wasted?" it seemed like a good enough reason to her. Also, and she would never admit this to Natsu, she wanted him to forget his troubles, even if it was because of alcohol.

"I have a feeling there is another motive behind in that blond head of yours."

If only Natsu knew...

Lucy smirked, she took that as a yes. After they ate, Lucy suggested they play a game, so that their drinking had a little flare with with it.

"Drunk driver? What's that?" Natsu asked.

"It's a card game. You set up a pyramid with ten cards at the bottom and working your way up. You flip a card and say you get a five, you have to say 'Lucy drink five' and then I have to. It's funner with more that two people but I'll make an exception this time" Lucy explained. Natsu shook his head and set up their stage while Lucy got the booze. When Natsu got done and looked up his eyes widened.

"Where did you keep all that?" he asked. She had two whiskey bottles, three sake bottles, and a bottle of vodka and rum.

"You want me to get fruit juice and coke so you don't have to drink it straight?" Lucy asked.

Natsu hesitated. Hell hes he wanted the juice and coke. But he didn't want to look weak in front of Lucy. Deciding on peer pressure, Natsu declined on the necessities.

Lucy smirked, an evil gleam in her eye. It's been a while since she got drunk, and now she can drag someone other than her drinking buddies into her games. Oh she was going to enjoy this night...

Flashback end

Even though Lucy had the hugest hangover, but probably not worse than Natsu's- Lucy felt bad for him, she got all the higher cards for him, she managed to get out of bed without throwing something. When she made it to the door, she made a quick pit stop to the bathroom to grab some pills and let Gray in.

"Sit on the couch or something, we'll be right with you" she told him and went to Natsu's room. Lucy opened the door and found Natsu with all the covers pulled above his head. Lucy giggled and sat next to him.

"You gatta puke?" Natsu shook his head no, "Then take these. They help with the hangovers" she grabbed a bottle of water of his nightstand and handed it to him, but not without downing her own set of pills first. Natsu did as told then grabbed Lucy by the waist and pulled her down onto the bed with him.

"Go tell gray to fuck off so we can sleep in" Natsu said, his face in the crook of her neck. Lucy was actually tempted, very tempted, to do as he told her. But sadly, all wanted things must be on hiatus until the necessary time. And Lucy was pretty sure that what was about to go down was something that needed no one in the apartment.

"We probably have a mission to go on, Natsu. And besides, if we kept everyone waiting much longer, Erza might get mad" Lucy said, deciding to play the Erza card. It worked.

"Fine! Gray! What time we gotta be at the school?" Natsu called out.

"In thirty minutes!" Gray responded. Lucy sighed and rolled out of bed. Natsu, hesitantly, following suit.

"Took you three long enough" Lisanna scowled when Lucy, Natsu, and Gray arrived at the death room. Lucy, still feeling like crap, scowled right back.

"Fuck off" she said as she walked past Lisanna. Lisanna growled but didn't respond.

"Ok children stop bickering. I need you all to get along, after all, this next mission will be a joint mission. The enemy is too strong so I don't want any competing, got it?

"Pedrinho Matador aka Pedro Rodrigues Filho. He is in Brazil an was convicted for the murders of seventy innocent people. It is claimed that he killed over one hundred people plus forty inmates.

"Remember when I said to get along? I ment it. Especially you two, Lucy and Lisanna. I need you to actually not try to rip each others throats out. Every single time a team has gone after Pedro, they fail and lose a few of their men. So please, for the love of Mavis, work together" Makarov said, no, begged.

"You said Brazil, right? I've always wanted to go there" Lisanna said.

"And while we're at it, we'll kick some serial killer ass" Lucy said, "I really hate this chick but for you, Makarov, I think we can manage." Lisanna shook her head in silent agreement.

Natsu was shocked at the scene before him. He was proud of Lucy, though he would never admit that.

"But be careful you twelve," Makarov suddenly stated, "He has a witch with him. And I've heard he has another with him. But I don't know much except it's a teenage girl with a strange sword. Which is why I want you all to work together."

Natsu and Levy's joint teams had just arrived in Santa Rita do Sapucaí, Brazil. Unfortunately, Natsu still moped at this, Lucy and Lisanna didn't even last ten minutes on the plane ride. Both him and Laxus had to separate the girls from each other at least thirteen times.

"Finally! I thought that plane was gunna drop any second baecause of your fat ass" Lusy said.

"Oh? I smelled something from the bathroom. What the hell did you eat? Because it came from you I'm sure" Lisanna. Before they could any physical damage to each other, Natsu and Laxus pulled them apart again. Natsu sighed.

Fourteen times now.

"Now guys. We need to get started! You two can pick on each other when we get back" Levy spoke up as she wormed her way between them.

Levy, Lucy decided, was right. Lucy snickered, So did Gajeel since he agreed with her a millisecond after she talked. Lucy decided to walk away from her mortal enemy and stand beside said girls' long-time crush, Aka Natsu.

Natsu wasn't stupid. Ok maybe a little he was, but he knew when he was being used to make someone pissed. But on another note, he knew exactly what Lucy wanted to do.

"Let's all split up for a while and try to find some info. on our guy" he said. Since, the master himself said they were facing someone incredibly dangerous, including the witch, everyone was reluctant. Natsu could see the gears turning in their heads as they thought about what course of action that all should take.

Finally, after some thinking, Erza spoke up, "It would be faster if we split up. But I want pairs of four. Natsu and Lucy, your with Romeo and Wendy. Gray and Juvia, you will be with Levy and Gajeel. And me and Jellal will be with Laxus and Lisanna. Does everyone understand?" Erza said, daring someone to testify against her plan. Everyone did and they went to their respective groups.

"They have finally arrived, Pedro" Michelle, or as her current colleges know her, Imitatia, said. One of her mother's colleagues, Daphne, spoke up.

"Finally! We don't have to wait any longer. I almost ran out of metamo." Michelle sighed, she's been eating that stupid diet thing the whole time we've been here. I even tried one, they taste like crap! How can she stand eating then? Michelle thought to herself. Suddenly, a certain person on the camera she was looking at came into focus.

Nee-san! Nee-san is here!

"Oh? This guy looks to be a promising fighter" Daphne said, pointing at Gray.

"Yes," a piercing hiss resonated in the shadows behind the two girls, "And I want to fight the pretty red head. I wonder what her screams would sound like" Pedro laughed sadistically. The two girls couldn't help but smile as they watched their desired prey on the security camera.

HI! sorry about the long wait... as I said before, unless i say so, i will be updating every other week. But i also applied for a job and if i get it, then the updates will be pushing the weekend mark... as i said before, i will comment on some reviews.

Ice flame dragon- yes I realize this. It's a really bad habit of mine and I'm working on it. But if you have any advice, I'd really like to hear it.
