OMFG! Words cannot express how sorry I am. But as you read last chapter, I was grounded... well, good news! I got ungrounded! And I owe it all to my chemistry grade! sorry if the chapters are shorter lately. 1) I caught up with real time and now I have to think of plots quick and 2) I've been have a block with this story. I'm still continuing it, it just may take a little while. So please be patient.
And I am rewriting Monster High! But I'm gunna type out a lot of chapter so I can update weekly. So there's somethin to look forward to! I also have other stories on the works. But I'll make y'all anticipate for those.

The walk to the academy was tedious. All the awkward tension between Natsu and Lucy was driving Erza nuts. She could literally cut it with a knife. She knew her and Lucy had a chat. But did the boys also? They must have if even Natsu was acting like a shy little schoolgirl.
Since leaving the apartment, they only said at the most five words to each other. And as mentioned before, it's driving her nuts! "So what do you think he wants us for?" she asked, deciding to break the tension.
"No clue. But it better not be another damn mission" Lucy replied, Natsu and Gray nodding in agreement. Erza sighed. She had to agree there- they were still recovering from the last one a week ago. Hell, Gray just got the venom out of his system yesterday.
"It's to late to be doing this shit" Natsu yawned.
Erza smiled, "Don't worry. We're almost there- we can grill Makarov on the topic later."
And true to her word, the first things that were said when they arrived were, "What the hell are we doing here at eleven pm?"
"Don't worry, it's not a mission. Well, in a way it is but not that kind of mission" Makarov replied, unnerved by the language and tardiness.
"Then what kind?" Gray asked.
"We will be hosting hosting a party tomorrow, and I want you and your partners to work it! And you you will be getting paid" he said, smiling.
"How much" Lucy pressed.
"LUCY!"
Makarov grinned, a grin to which Lucy responded. "You will be the only group doing this. Of course, I'm not a slave driver so you will get breaks to enjoy the dance."
"What all will we be doing?" Erza asked.
"Simple things like getting more food, drink, and ice. You will, however, also be on guard in case anything happens. So where something practical that you can both dance and fight in if need be. So will you do it?"
They all replied in unison, "Yes."
…
"We shouldn't have slept all morning. I'm not even tired" Natsu said.
"And who's fault was that?" Lucy asked.
"Hehe"
Lucy sighed and reclined the La-z-boy. Except for sleeping, partying, and drinking, Lucy had no idea what to do at night. She supposed she could get completely wasted and get some sleep that way- she sure had enough to do the job. But she would feel bad for leaving Natsu to be awake all night. She could ask him to join in, but after his first- and last- hangover, she wasn't sure he's agree to it.
"Wanna drink?" Lucy asked. Natsu paled as he remembered last time he drank with the blonde. She could hold her liquor, that's for sure.
"Sure. Why not" he said, getting the feeling he would regret it when they woke up. Lucy got up and went into the kitchen. When she came back, she had, all full, four bottles. Vodka, rum, Jägermeister, and crown royal. "Where do you get those?" he asked.
"Ancient Chinese secret." Lucy grinned and sat down "Drunk driver, or something new?" she asked.
"Something new" he responded almost immediately. No way was he playing that game alone with her ever again.
"It might be funner with other people around. Hold on," she said as she got her phone out and started to text people. She grinned, "Good news, I got more people coming, along with more booze. Bad news, one of em's Erza" she said.
Before he could respond to that, she went to the kitchen and started preparing some snacks. When she was done, knocks were heard.
"Sup!" Lucy said as Gajeel and a mysterious woman walked in.
"Natsu, Cana. Cana, Natsu." Lucy said.
"I didn't know you drank" Natsu said to Gajeel.
"Geehee. There's a lot you don't know about me fire brains" he said back. Before Natsu could respond any further, more knocks were heard.
"Here" Erza said as she walked in, also carrying a bag of booze, followed by Jellal and Gray. How did Natsu not know any of his friends drank? Was he so blind!?
"Lucy I thought you said that Erza coming was 'bad news' so..." he let the question trail.
"It's bad news 'cause other than Cana and Gajeel, Erza can drink the same amount as me. So instead of just the usual gang, we have Erza here to. More competition" she said. When everyone got there, Lucy fired up the introductions.
"Everybody, this is Cana. Cana, they are Natsu, Erza, Jellal, and Gray" Lucy said.
"So you know Gajeel?" Gray asked.
"Yup! Me and him go way back! Almost... what? Two years? We met Blondie not long after that" Cana said, her words slurred.
"You've known Lucy this entire time!" Natsu demanded.
...
"Yeah?"
"Let's play the dare game," she said, saving Gajeel from Natsu's wrath, and went to the kitchen. When she got back, she had an empty sake bottle. "Whoever it lands on has to drink do a dare. If your to much of a pussy to do it, then drink again."
"We can't do our version?" Cana whined.
"I may have drunk with each of them once, but I don't think they would want to do that" Lucy said.
"What's your version?" Erza asked.
"If we don't do the dare, we have to drink and take off one piece of clothing" Gajeel answered. They gave him, Lucy, and Cana strange looks. "What? Cana was drunk when she came up with it and it stuck" he said.
"I'm down" Jellal said, the others, albeit some reluctantly, agreed. Lucy grinned and spun the bottle. Lucy grinned when it stopped.
"Payback's a bitch Cana. I dare you to make out with Gajeel" Lucy said.
"Wait, what about Levy?" Erza asked.
"Fuck relationships. This game is about revenge," Lucy said, an evil glint in her eyes. Cana drank and smiled. She pulled Gajeel close to her crash her lips into his. A minute later, she let go.
"Damn. He's not a bad kisser. The piercings make it hot. And to think I thought it would be miserable!" Cana shouted.
"Yeah that's what I thought about Bacchus" Lucy smirked.
"Bitch" Cana replied, to which said bitch just laughed. "Next" Cana said as she spun the bottle. This time it landed on Jellal.
"Jellal I dare you to grope Erza" Gray said, smirking wickedly. Jellal gave a small knowing smile and drank.
"W-wait Jellal. Your seriously going to do this" Erza said, her face bright red.
"Of course not. I live with her, you know. She could kill me in my sleep" Jellal said and drank again.
"Don't forget to strip" Cana reminded him. Jellal sighed and took of his jacket. He then spun the bottle and the new lucky winner was...
"Lucy! I dare you chug half the Jäger" Cana taunted. She took her swig and picked up the bottle.
"CHUG CHUG CHUG" Cana and Gajeel shouted, making Lucy stop and laugh. She hated it when they did that. If you yell out 'chug' a person can't chug! It only makes them laugh! After she finally did what she had to- though she drank more than she was supposed to- she flipped Cana off and spun.
"You not supposed to steal the last quarter of the booze Gajeel!" Cana yelled. He just shrugged and finished off the Jäger.
"That shit tastes like shit," Lucy said, her words starting to sound slurred. "Up next is Natsu!" Lucy shouted.
Oh Great, he thought. He was about to get dared by three drunks.
"I dare you to flash us your naughty bits" Cana said, laughing afterwords. Natsu blushed.
"I would if it was just you pretty ladies in the room. But not with these dick heads watching" Natsu said as he drank and took off his shirt.
"You tell 'em! Besides, he's all for me!" Lucy drunkenly shouted, hers, Erza's, Gray's and Cana's laughter filling the room.
"You finally got some?" Cana asked.
"Wouldn't you like to know" Lucy replied suggestively.
"Okay next!" Natsu shouted and spun. Damn, those two were already Drunk off their asses. If it got any worse than this, he would have to cut them off- or at least Lucy.
They've been playing for over an hour, so one would think that they would all get at least five turns, right?
Wrong.
The three Drunkaneers have been getting most of the dares, thank Mavis for the rest of them. Natsu, Erza, Gray, and Jellal had to resort to playing their own game when the drunks were fighting and /or rambling. But don't get him wrong, he loved seeing this side of Lucy and, as he realized reality an hour ago, his friends.
He and Gray managed to get Erza a little loopey. Jellal... he was drinking but with his kuudere personality, it was hard to tell.
"Fuck this!" Cana shouted. Everyone looked up at her as if she were some all knowing wise one. "We are going to play Edward 40 hands!" She laughed. Lucy and Gajeel groaned.
"Jeez-fucking-loise, Cana. We couldn't have played that when all three of us weren't about to pass out!" Lucy yelled but got up to get the necessary items anyway.
"What's that?" Jellal asked.
Cana grinned, "I'm glad you asked. Tape a forty-ounce to each hand and you can't do shit until you drink them both. Can't answer the phone, get the door, use the toilet, nothin'."
"We need more bottles to play" Lucy called out.
"How many?" she asked.
"Me and Gajeel finished up the Jäger. And we drank out of Erza's for the shots. so... that's three we have on us but they're more than forty ounces" she replied. For a drunk girl, she could operate very well, Natsu noticed.
"Shit! I got some in my truck but those are more than forty to. Gaj?" Cana asked.
"Nope" he replied.
"I would say fuck it. Me, Luce, and Gaj could drink from the grown-up bottles. And maybe Erza. But I don't think the others could stomach it" Cana said to herself.
"Then it's probably for the best. Why don't we just do shots instead?" Lucy said. Cana sighed and agreed. Natsu, personally, was grateful they weren't playing. He didn't think he could stomach that much.
Then they all started. They started slow at first, but the more drunk everyone but the drunkaneers got. The more they kept coming.
How can they drink this much? They each must've had over forty shots. I'm only on my twenty-somthing shot and I feel like I'm about to pass out, Natsu thought. By looking at his friends, they were feeling the same way.
How on earth can Lucy suggest this the night before a paying mission? Natsu asked himself. Don't get him wrong, on any other night, we would be all for this. But tonight? Not so much.
"Looks like their almost gunna pass out" Cana said.
"Yea. Everyone but you three and Erza" Natsu heard Gray grumble. He saw Jellal smile at the comment and snickered.
Deciding to look like a pus, Natsu stumbled up, "I'm goin' to bed" he slurred to Lucy. She looked at him in understanding and nodded her head. Thankful for her kindness, he went. Not even bothering to change, he fell into bed.
"Those four are monsters. I've never drank that much before in my life" Gray said, sitting in a miniature red papasan chair that Natsu got last week. Jellal shook his head in agreement and sat down in the chair.
"Why you guys here?" Natsu asked.
"Lucy came up to us and told us to leave if we wanted. Basically she wanted us to save ourselves" Jellal responded. Natsu and Gray laughed then fell silent again. Natsu was glad that Lucy wasn't one of those people that made you stay until you either passed out or threw up.
"Ya'll can crash here if ya wanna" Natsu said.
"I planned on it" Gray said, to which Jellal hummed in agreement.
Natsu heard the girls plus Gajeel laugh and that's all he remembered before he passed out.
Well here it is. I just wanted to apologize again for the lateness. The real thing will be starting up next chapter. I just chose to try and make this a funny one to make up with yall (^.^' )
