New chapter, yay. i decided to just put in this more comedy than usual because I can. Anyway, let's see if anyone can already spot the bombshell, don't put it in the reviews because spoilers. You could help me think of a semblance for Blaise, seriously I've been working on that since I started out and I couldn't think of anything. Either way,

Enjoy.

"Alright guys, my dad and I are taking Helena to school so nobody break anything, or better yet, just don't leave this room until I get back," Eva said to her team who were all still half asleep in the guest room.

"Not a problem," Lapis slurred through a pillow, "You stayed up till five in the morning talking with your sister in here, keeping us up."

"Well my statement was more directed at those two." Eva gestured at Blaise who had fallen asleep with a pillow covering his ears in an attempt to block out the sisters' talking, and Zaria who was resting her head on said pillow after she passed out from exhaustion around 3 a.m.

"Fine, I'll make sure sleeping dogs lie," Lapis said waving Eva goodbye as she walked out the door, "Finally, I can sleep." He dropped his head further into the pillow and fell into a deep sleep.

"AHHH!" a voice shouted as it fell into the temporary team BLZE base crashing into the wall waking up Lapis. "Who left that door open?"

"What the hell?" Lapis asked opening his eyes and the first thing he saw was a fully grown man, roughly around 24 or 25, flying face flat on the wall of the room.

"Hello," the man greeted standing up on the wall then adjusted his hat and lab coat, "My name is Orlando C. Sorry about crashing in, the boots really are a pain when you lock in a certain direction."

"Lapis Leathart," Lapis said standing up stretching.

"So are you the leader of this team?" he asked then Lapis laughed.

"No, the leader is the sleeping idiot over there." He gestured to the pillow sandwich on the couch. "The guy, not the girl."

"Alright, so are you going to head to the meal hall?"

"What are they serving breakfast still?"

"No, it's lunch now," Orlando said walking across the walls and reaching the door he placed one foot on the door frame, then the other on the other side of the wall and he stood up normally. Looking over the door frame he said, "You coming?"

"Might as well," Lapis said walking out of the room and following Orlando.

Walking down the hallway Orlando and Lapis passed several other scientists who were walking on the ceiling or walls, only a very few were walking on the floor with some kids following them.

"The gravity boots were of my creation," Orlando said directing Lapis to the food hall. "Originally they were only used in the lab, but then somebody brought them back here to avoid crowds in the hallway and then everyone began to do it, so I had to make the dust cartridges last longer than a month of continuous use."

"So how long can they be used for now?"

"Theoretically, a year," Orlando said nonchalantly, "but we haven't had these long enough for it to be fully tested, which is what most of us are doing here. Some people just use it for walking around, but some of the more hardcore testers attached two pairs to the bottom of their beds and wear them while sleeping with a direction locked in."

"Are you one of the hardcore testers?"

He laughed. "No, my wife already thinks I'm crazy enough."

"You're married?"

"A couple months now, and we have twins on the way," he explained as he jumped over a hallway. "Crazy story, we met back in Vale. She was a nurse at a hospital where I came in from several gunshot and stab wounds. After I was treated she was my nurse and we hit it off. We got engaged before I moved here."

"I bet your family is happy for you."

He stopped. "Not really. My parents died years ago, and my brothers and sister think I'm dead, or they know I'm alive and hate me."

"Why would they hate you?"

"Well, before I came to work with the Manos family I did some horrible things, and some of them to my younger siblings," he paused for a moment before he crouched down and opened the door. "Anyway, let's eat some lunch." He looked at Lapis for a second then jumped.

"Are they gone?" Blaise asked Zaria through the muffled pillow.

"Huh, what?" Zaria asked as she stretched then went back to sleep.

"Better yet, GET OFF ME!" Blaise shouted through the pillow as he threw Zaria onto the floor.

"Why?" she whined as she rolled herself into a burrito with the blanket she had over her and Blaise.

"You try breathing normally with someone on top of you," Blaise said rolling off the couch on top of the ninja burrito.

"Off," Zaria said then started hitting her head on the floor. "Uncle, uncle, uncle."

"No, let's see how you like it."

"Get off me," she wheezed then in a moment of desperation she stuck her head up and bit Blaise's wolf ear making him yelp in pain.

"Ow, ow, ow, ears are off limits," Blaise said trying to get her to let go.

"Alfs farfe imf waf," she said (Translation: All's fair in war).

"Fine, fine, fine, I'll get off, now stop biting," Blaise said getting up then Zaria unclenched her jaw.

"I win," she said still wrapped in the blanket. Blaise looked at her for a second then walked over to the pile of jackets on a lounge chair. "What are you doing." Blaise looked at her for a second then gave her a malicious smile as his eyes flashed red. "No, no, no," she said wriggling in an attempt to get out of the blanket, but it was too late. In a split second he grabbed both Lapis' and her athletic jackets then jumped over to her. He picked up the ninja burrito and tied the blanket using the jackets' sleeves making her immobile. "Let me go," she demanded as Blaise put the burrito over his shoulder.

"No," Blaise simply said reaching into her jacket's pocket and pulled out a grapple hook. extending the cable he tied it to her feet then the chandelier. Making sure she was unable to slip out of the cable he sat down on the chair facing her. "Enjoying the view?" he asked her with a smug smile forming on his face.

"Come on, this isn't fair," she said swinging around in an attempt to get herself down.

"All's fair in war, right?"

"You're a bastard."

"Possibly, now then," he said pulling out his scroll and snapped a picture of the scene in front of him, then he switched it to video camera mode and pressed 'record,' "Who won?"

"I'll never say it," she said glaring at him.

"I can just go for lunch." He sniffed the air. "Hamburgers, I can smell it from here. If you won't say it I can just leave, and leave you here to think about your decision."

"Fine, you won," she said letting her head hang downward in defeat as her face turned red from the blood rushing to her face.

"That's what I wanted to hear," he said stopping the recording, saving it to his gallery. Walking over to the hanging burrito he turned his index finger's nail into a claw and swiped fast cutting the cable causing her to fall to the ground. After turning his claw back into a fingernail he untied the jackets making her able to start trying to get out of the blanket. Grabbing the ends of the blanket he started to pull slowly seeing the look of shock come across her face.

"Wait, wait, wait," she pleaded, but it was too late. Quickly pulling on the end he spun Zaira round and round until she flew out of the blanket onto the couch.

"Now, do you want to go for lunch?" he asked then dropped the blanket to see Zaria jumping at him.

Hitting him in the lower abdomen she knocked the wind out of him. Connecting both his hands together he dropped his fists to her back while raising his knee hitting her from both sides. Breaking apart Zaria and Blaise both regained their breath.

She got her breath back first so she jumped at him again tackling him to ground. He quickly tried to throw her off but only succeeded in turning her around so he put her in a sleeper hold. She wasn't about to go down without a fight, so whipping her head back hitting Blaise in the head in an attempt to get him to let go. She lasted for only a couple more moments and before she got knocked out she hit him one last time knocking him out at the same time as her.

"Bye Helena," Linus waved as his youngest daughter headed to the school building.

"It's good to see her every once in a while," Eva said looking out the window at her sister.

"It's good to see you every once in a while," Linus said giving his daughter a smile. Then his expression turned sad. "So, I guess you already know about Jacob."

"Yeah, Ozpin told me before I went on this mission," she explained as he pulled out of the parking lot.

"I always told him to always be careful, but he wanted the adventure so I had to think of a way to keep an eye on him, so I offered him a job with the company."

"I know he liked the adventure, he used to bring me along on his missions growing up," Eva said, "He was able to take on a whole horde of beowolves using only his bow and sword alone. He was the reason why I wanted to become a hunter."

"And you're the reason why she wants to be a hunter," he said making Eva look a little surprised.

"She wants to be a hunter? What about the company?"

"Ehh, I run the company. You guys don't have to worry about the company, just follow your dreams and do what makes you happy. When the time comes I'll pass the company off to the next head scientist. Everyone in the company is part of our family, so I'd trust anyone there with the company. I've actually been considering making Orlando the next head scientist, on smaller projects of course, he'll have to work for the head scientist of all operations," Linus explained. "You know his wife Marilyn is pregnant right?" She shook her head. "Well supposedly they're going to have twins. I think he'll be a good father, just like yours truly."

"I hope not," Eva replied making Linus' expression turned sad.

"Come on, I was a good dad."

"Was, is the key word there, dad."

"Either way, I can't wait to see the little pups. Maybe they'll be as good with dust as he is."

"Well hopefully during summer break I can come by again to meet them," Eva said smiling.

"So," he said turning onto the highway and letting the car go into auto-drive, "What did you guys find out about the new grimm?"

"Well, none of us got a good look at the wraith, except for Blaise who killed one before the other dragged him out of the building," Eva explained.

"It took him out of the building, and didn't instantly kill him?"

"Yeah, it was a little strange. And according to the files the wraiths are excellent trackers and that is how the thing was able to escape the facility."

"So if there are multiple wraiths, is there a chance they are scattered across Vale?"

"Possibly, we hope that isn't the case, after we leave the house we're going to try to find the nest and exterminate the wraiths."

"That will be very dangerous. I just hope you'll be careful," he said looking at his daughter concerned.

"Compared to some of the other stuff we did at Beacon, we should be just fine," Eva said remembering Xais Cay. "Not to mention, there is nothing Blaise can't handle."

"So just who is Blaise? I mean I've met the guy, but I don't really know much about him."

"That's the thing, we know barely anything about him, except that he's a wolf faunus from the Ayw Isle," she explained, "Even he doesn't know since he has had amnesia since initiation."

"Huh, amnesia, I think we could probably try out one of our newest dust combinations that supposedly has healing properties. It could possibly cure him of his amnesia," he explained making Eva get a little worried.

"No, I'm pretty sure Blaise wouldn't try anything he didn't fully understand," Eva explained hoping she dodged a bullet there.

"Alright, well think about it, I'm sure Orlando will be able to whip up some of the dust anytime." Linus looked at the gps then switched the car back to manual drive and turned off the highway towards the house.

"So this is interesting," Lapis said walking back into the room and seeing the scene in front of him. Both Blaise and Zaria were knocked out. Blaise had Zaria put into a headlock, and Blaise had a small lump forming on his forehead. Taking out his scroll he snapped a picture of the scene. Walking over to the bathroom he grabbed the empty clean garbage bin and filled it with cold water.

"Alright, I'm going to give you two one chance to wake up before I drop this water on you," Lapis said walking over with the water in one hand and his scroll on video camera in the other, to stand in front of the two. "To the count of three. One, two… three." He flipped the garbage bin over and sent all of it crashing down on the two forcing them awake from the shock.

"What?! Are we under attack?!" Blaise asked as he reached behind him for his pistols but only found a pillow. Grabbing the pillow he pulled it out and aimed it at Lapis like he would normally do with his gun.

"Cold! Cold! Cold!" Zaria exclaimed as she jumped out of Blaise's arms and tried to run from the water, but slipped and fell on her face.

Lapis didn't say anything because he was too busy laughing while trying to keep the scroll steady as he watched the amusing spectacle.

Blaise noticed him first. "Oh you motherfucke-" he nearly shouted as he tried to stand up but slipped and fell backwards landing on his back.

"Lapis come on," Zaria whined as she stood up and started to walk towards Lapis but slipped and fell elbowing Blaise in the gut knocking the wind out of him.

"Come on," Blaise wheezed as he pushed Zaria off of him. "I thought we already settled this."

"That was an accident," Zaria apologized as she stood up again, "This was all Lapis' fault."

"Yeah," Blaise said then took off his wet socks so he could get a good grip on the floor, "Hey Z, I propose a partnership."

"Alright," she replied then they both gave a malicious smile as they glared at Lapis. Blaise used his aura to give increase the length of his canines to scare Lapis even more.

"What… happened?" Linus asked as he opened the door to the main hall. Scattered across the walls and ceiling were the scientists placing bets on the fight in front of them. The only ones on the floor was the rest of team BLZE currently locked in a fist fight with Lapis against a waterlogged Blaise and Zaria who occasionally slipped on the floor.

Blaise went for Lapis' upper body unleashing a flurry of attacks but Lapis blocked most of them with one hand, and Zaria was trying to sideswipe his legs but Lapis would either dodge the attacks or kick her away.

"I left for two hours," Eva shouted as she jumped into the fray and spun kicked Blaise in the face sending him into the wall where the scientists weren't occupying. She delivered another spin kick to Lapis' face throwing him out the front door. "TWO HOURS!" she shouted as she axe kicked Zaria throwing her into the ground creating a crater in the middle of the room. "And you did all this in two hours."

"Actually, it was more like ten minutes," Blaise said then a floor tile shard impaled itself in the wall right next to his head

"Shut up!"

"Well," Linus said walking into the room, "Shouldn't you all be working?" Shortly after all the scientists left the room mumbling that the blue one should've won as they went to their carpools to the research facility. "That's what I thought."

"Hello Linus," Orlando greeted as he landed on his feet next to Linus, "So are we carpooling again?"

"Actually I was thinking of spending the day with my daught-"

"Dad, you should really go to work," Eva interjected as she tried to push her dad out of the door.

"Oh, before I forget," Linus said looking at Lapis who finally came walking back into the mansion, "These guys are part of Eva's team at Beacon. That is Lapis," he pointed toward the crater, "that's Zaria," then he pointed at the wall, "and that is Blaise."

"Blaise?" he asked looking at Blaise then turned to look at Lapis, "I mean I already met one of them earlier." Eva cocked an eyebrow at that.

Now that was a thing. End result: Eva wins irregardless with her destructive kicks.

Well if anyone can help me think of a semblance for Blaise that would be helpful, you can put your suggestions in the reviews.

Next chapter will have more serious action than this one, but you have to admit that small fight between Blaise and Zaria was funny.

Anyway, have a good day,
