*Rebooting*
Chapter of A BLZEing Remnant and I currently am trying to grow my brain back since school had ended. I had managed to write this chapter. Sorry, but this chapter and the next ones might not be the ULTIMATE BADASSARY you're used to but I probably will write those kinds of chapters when my brain is fully funtion-

"Blaise, Blaise, Blaise, wake up," a voice said poking Blaise's side.
"Go away you guys, we're on break," Blaise mumbled rolling away from the voice.
"Fine then. How about this!" the voice shouted as it jumped slamming its elbow into Blaise's ribs waking him up.
"Gah!" Blaise shouted throwing the person off of him. Looking at the person laying on Lapis's bed he recognized the person. "Lucia?"
"Yeah, the one and only," she said picking herself up off of the bed.
"What are you doing here? Didn't Ozpin send you on a mission?"
"He did, and I finished it," she said stretching. "I just came back this morning and I passed your team on the way up saying they were going to breakfast."
"So they just let you in so you could wake me up?" Blaise asked standing up from his bed.
"Two questions," she said looking at him. "Why are you so tired that your team decides to leave you behind in the morning, and why do you have a huge scar on your face?"
"I got into a fight," Blaise explained the scar, "and the tiredness was because Ruby and I stayed in the workshop until late making new weapons."
"What kind of new weapons?"
"You'll see soon enough," Blaise smiled then there was a knock on the door.
"Hey Blaise, wake up," the voice said from outside the door. Lucia immediately cloaked her hands in black aura generating her claws as she jumped toward the door then opened it. "Oh hey Lucia," Sedric greeted her wearing his pajamas. She didn't say anything before she grabbed him by the shirt and threw him out the window with her following close behind.
"Ok, don't mind me," Blaise said looking out the window at the fist vs. claw fight going on in the courtyard. "I'm going to take a shower and head down to breakfast." He turned away from the window and gathered his toiletries. "I'm currently on break."
"So, here's what I was thinking of making today," Ruby said to Blaise as they were heading to the workshop exiting the dorm. "I was thinking that since Zaria has both a gun and katanas we could-"
"Stop," Blaise interjected holding his arm out stopping the red reaper.
"Why did you stop?" she asked looking past his arm.
"You'll see," Blaise replied. Moments later Sedric sprinted past wearing somewhat torn pajamas, then a couple seconds later they saw Lucia charging forward riding on top of a boarbatusk holding onto the horns. "Ok, we're good to go," Blaise said taking his arm down and continuing his walk towards the elevator.
"What? You're not going to help them out?" Ruby asked him. "There's even a grimm on the grounds."
"What? No. Firstly, Lucia has got the situation under control. And secondly, it is spring break so I'm going to take advantage of that," Blaise explained pressing the elevator button.
"So, has Blaise done anything since we got back from Eriford about a week ago?" Lapis asked teams BLZE and AQRS at the lunch table.
"No, I don't think he has," Quinton replied. "Anyway Lapis, have you thought about going back home?"
"I guess I can go, but remember we need to be back before spring break finishes," Lapis responded.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Zaria asked him. "I thought you guys said your dad disowned Lapis?"
"That is true," Quinton said, took a quick drink of his expresso then continued, "but dad has always been very soft. Even before he married Lapis's mom. During the day he was the tough guy the town knew was a badass, but when he got home he liked to curl up and nap with our german shepherd Sam. So if Lapis came back home, I'm pretty sure dad would greet him with a bone crushing hug."
"Seems like you guys have a good family," Zaria said.
Shizuko placed her hand on Zaria's shoulder sending shivers down her spine. "You know, I was planning on going home also. I've already explained to mom what dad was doing and she doesn't blame you. So I was thinking you might want to come home with me. Mom does miss you."
"I might go," Zaria said looking to her team who simply nodded.
"I'm also going home," Alex said.
"I'm going too," Reita said hitting him on the shoulder getting strange looks from the remaining members of BLZE. "We're cousins on his mom's side."
"Seems like I'm the only one not going anywhere," Eva grumbled.
"Well, you could go back home," Lapis suggested. "I'm sure if you talk with Blaise he might go along since Lucius is living at your house."
"Yeah, and I know that you wouldn't mind spending the rest of break with Mr. Franken Wolf," Zaria said elbowing Eva's side.
"As if. That idiot couldn't go a full day without breaking something expensive," Eva scoffed at the thought.
"Well, whatever you're going to do, you might want to decide soon because we all won't be here for you to talk with," Alex said looking out the window to the courtyard to see Sedric in torn pajamas collapse from exhaustion in the middle of the courtyard. Moments later a nevermore landed in the middle of the courtyard grabbing the man in its talons before taking off. "I'm not even surprised anymore."
"Glynda, why are there reports of grimm on the campus?" Ozpin asked her as he viewed the texts and videos being sent to him by the students and teachers.
"Well, it would seem that your two newly hired employees are having a slight disagreement," Glynda said throwing a image onto the window projector of Lucia riding on a nevermore with Sedric wearing only his torn up pants screaming being held in the nevermore's beak by the robotic leg.
"Well, sibling rivalry and all that," Ozpin said closing his scroll.
"You're not going to reprimand them for this?" Glynda asked with her scowl forming on her face as she walked over to the headmaster.
"I take it there was no property damage?" Ozpin asked looking at his assistant.
"Property damage? They charged boarbatusks through the campus, flew in with a nevermore, and there was even a report of a goliath destroying a path through the Emerald Forest. And you care about property damage?"
"Glynda, from what I can tell there were no injuries, no property damage, and even no interference with any student activities or extracurricular activities. So I believe it would not be wise to anger a person who is capable of having charging boarbatusks, nevermores, and goliaths. Do you?" Ozpin asked causing Glynda to sigh. "Anyway, if there is anything to worry about, it would have to be the annual Beacon Academy Beat Down."
"I thought you discontinued that," Glynda said looking at the headmaster with disbelief.
"You should know that there is no way to discontinue a student tradition," Ozpin replied with a smirk.
"I swear if they destroy the statue again this year I will-"
"They should be located in the Emerald Forest this year."
"That's where they started last year!"
"So can you please put me down?" Sedric asked Lucia as he tried to pry his leg out of the nevermore beak.
"Why should I? After all the evil you've committed, you think I'm just going to let you go?" Lucia asked.
"Because where else am I possibly able to go?! The White Fang betrayed me! They stole my creations and sent one of their guys to eliminate me! I only managed to survive by faking my own death! I came here to put myself at the mercy of Ozpin and he spared me. I'm now a prisoner of Beacon with some liberties," Sedric said as Lucia slowly mentally told the nevermore to place Sedric on the roof. "I'm now stuck here trying to find ways to stop the White Fang's plans. Even Blaise isn't holding a grudge. He and I were supposed to build weapons today with that Ruby girl, but then you came along trying to murder me."
"So, you won't try and betray us?" Lucia asked hopping off her nevermore telling it to fly back to its nest.
"Honestly? Do you think I would purposely come back here still working for the White Fang? I honestly don't wasn't to piss off any more factions that are fully capable of killing me," Sedric explained laying down on the roof.
"Fine, I will not kill you… as long as you don't give me a reason to," she said sitting down next to Sedric.
"Nice to see you too," Sedric chuckled.
"So, should we call it a day?" Blaise asked Ruby stretching his back after being hunched over the pieces of metal he had been welding together using his semblance.
"I think we should be done for now," Ruby said looking at her scroll's clock seeing it was starting to get late.
"Finally, my back was killing me," Blaise said standing up. Reaching above him to the storage locker just within his reach he pulled out a small box of cookies and pulled out two. He placed one in his mouth and held the other in an outstretched hand. Before he could even say anything the cookie was gone being devoured by the childish weapon maniac. "So, I take it we're doing this for the Beacon Academy Beat Down?"
"Yes," Ruby replied finishing her cookie running to the giant center table covered completely in new weapons. Different variations of Crescent Rose and several of their friends' weapons. "What better place to use prototype weapons than a tournament style fight."
"I know I should probably know these things, but I did miss the release of the rules. So what are the rules?"
"Simple," Ruby said pulling out a folded piece of paper from one of her pouches and unfolded it on top of Crescent Rose variant 15, "'Any student may use any weapons that they carry along to the entrance of the tournament, no retrieving spares from your lockers or having them sent to your location via the rocket lockers. If your aura goes into the red you are out of the tournament. No aura piercing blades are allowed since it would be considered bad sportsmanship. All pairings will be decided at random. All semblances are allowed during combat.' That is all it says. Since it says there is no limit to the weapons allowed in we can take as many of our prototypes as we can carry. Do you have the outfits prepared?"
"Yeah yeah," Blaise said pulling up the project he was working on. There on his smaller table were two combat outfits similar to Blaise's assassin armor designed for a tall man and a shorter woman. The male armor was black with grey accents and red lines running across the cloth under the armor plates, and the female one was black with red accents and had a spare bulletproof red cloak sewn around the neck area to avoid it falling off. Both also had cloth masks that covered the lower half of the face, and they both had many weapon holders designed to immobilize the weapons designed by the wolf and reaper avoiding the weapons to fall off during battle but still provide mobility. "I think I did good if I do say so myself. There is even a button in the main chestplate that when pressed releases all the weapons allowing for faster movement."
"This is AMAZING!" Ruby exclaimed rushing over to the combat armor Blaise designed to look at it. "Oh it is even the right size. With this level of skill why are you even becoming a hunter? You could just create armor and get millions of lien."
"Well, the only reason I was able to do all the complicated stuff was because Lucius walked me through it on a video chat," Blaise said scratching the back of his head. "Oh right, speaking of Lucius." Blaise reached up into the locker and pulled out a box and handed it to Ruby. "Your very own pair of gravity boots. In good working condition, but they may wear down from continuous use at fast speeds, but they will work just fine for the tournament. They may just, not work as well afterward."
"Gravity boots?" Ruby asked raising an eyebrow as she took the box from Blaise.
"Yes, gravity boots, exactly as they sound," Blaise said snapping his fingers once then backflipped landing on the ceiling. "Should be easy to use. I took no part in their creation, that was all Lucius, and one snap means your personal gravity goes in any direction that is below you and two means you lock in a different meaning you could easily land on your back on a ceiling. Three snaps disengages the gravity boots returning you back to the ground."
"Awesome!" Ruby exclaimed pulling the boots on her feet. "I have a great thought for later." She smirked.
"Oh no," Blaise said snapping three times landing on the ground before leaving the room followed by a maniacally chuckling reaper.
"Jeez, using my semblance for extended periods of time is exhausting," Blaise said entering the dorm room promptly falling face first on his bed.
"I know how you feel," Eva said looking up from her book, "Overuse of my semblance causes me to have a headache."
"So where are Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum?" Blaise asked muffled through the pillow.
"How can you even tell they aren't here?" she asked him.
Blaise moved his wolf ears to show her. "Too quiet."
"Well, they decided to go back home for the rest of break with their siblings from AQRS," she explained looking at Blaise.
"So are you going back home in the morning?" Blaise asked, "Because I think there is only one airship to Vale left before they stop for the night."
"Well, I was considering going back home and visiting my dad and Helena."
"But?"
"But I don't think you would like being left alone for the rest of break," she said causing Blaise to roll over to face her.
"Eva, just because my parents died doesn't mean I am alone. Some of my years are still a bit fuzzy to me, but I remember how to live on my own. You should go back home and visit your family, you'll never know how much you'd wish you would've visited them until they're gone."
"Well," Eva said avoiding eye contact with Blaise, "If I were to go back home, you could come along and visit with Lucius, Marilyn, and the twins."
"As much as that seems appealing, I will have to decline," Blaise said causing her to mentally kick herself for suggesting that. "I am going to stay back here to watch over Sedric and Lucia to make sure they don't murder each other. Not to mention the Beacon Academy Beat Down is in a few days and I promised Ruby I would help her test her new weapons."
"Oh, well fine," Eva said closing her book. "If I were to leave now I could probably make it to the last airship to town." Grabbing her travel bag from under her bed she opened it up and grabbed the last of her travel supplies.
"Have a nice trip, stay safe," Blaise said giving her a smile.
"I think you should worry more about yourself being safe than me."
Down in the RWBY dorm the three members other than the red reaper were resting peacefully after their long day of doing nearly nothing.
Weiss had managed to study for the upcoming classes after the spring break is over so she would be prepared. Yang had managed to convince Sun and Neptune to go with her to the sparring arenas and only allowed them to leave after she managed to beat them senseless. Blake even managed to find some new leads in her search for White Fang activity, but after she laid down in her bed she passed right out.
The only response to the door opening from the three sleeping members was a slight facial twitch and a roll away from the light. Then there was one snap and moments later there were two.
"Yang~" the voice creepily sang through the room from the shadows.
"What do you want Ruby?" Yang mumbled as she rolled away from the voice.
"Yang~" the voice repeated now on the other side of the room.
"Ruby, can we please do this in the morning? I'm really tired," Yang mumbled again swiping at the air on the left side of her bed finding it odd she didn't touch anything.
"Yang~" the voice sang for the last time before Yang's eyes shot open. On the ceiling was Ruby crab walking towards her sister rolling her eyes up in her head only showing the whites of her eyes. She also had smudged the eyeliner she borrowed from Blake's stash moments earlier giving herself darken eye sockets scaring the yellow haired brawler as Ruby came face to face with her sister.
"R-Ruby?" Yang asked terrified before Ruby formed a sadistic grin on her face locking silver eyes with lilac ones.
"Yang!" Ruby yelled jumping off the ceiling grabbing Yang off of her bed pulling her to the ceiling for a split second before dropping her on her bed.
"AHHH!" Yang screamed jumping off of her bed as Ruby launched herself off of the ceiling landing on the nightstand next to the window grabbing her spare handkerchief before launching herself out of the window snapping her fingers once allowing her to run on to the roof.
"Go to bed you big oaf," Weiss told Yang rolling over to see the terrified sister pointing at the window.
"B-b-but R-R-R-Ruby was- and then she- then she jumped out of the window!" Yang managed to tell Weiss frantically pointing at the window.
"There is no way that dunce is out there," Weiss said standing by the window looking out over the Beacon campus not seeing the red streak anywhere. "See? No Ruby flying outside."
"But she was on the ceiling and then she grabbed me and pulled me on to the ceiling and then jumped out the window," Yang frantically said backing away from the window nearing the door.
"I'm too tired to even correct your grammar," Weiss said laying back down on her bed.
"But Ruby-"
"Shut up and go to bed. If you're any louder you'll wake up Blake."
"But-"
"Yang!"
"Fine," Yang finally said in defeat hanging her head down just as the door burst open and an excited Ruby walked in.
"I'm back!" Ruby greeted causing Yang to yelp and jump back on to her bed and ready her pillow to be thrown at the little reaper. "Yang, what are you doing?"
"Are you really Ruby?" Yang asked her causing Ruby to raise an eyebrow.
"Yang, why are you even asking that?" Ruby asked then Weiss propped herself up on her bed.
"She's being an idiot," Weiss answered Ruby then rolled away from the sisters and covered her head with her spare pillow.
"No conversing with the enemy," Yang shot at the heiress then turned back to her sister. "Tell me something only Ruby would know."
"You had your first hangover at thirteen and you almost burned down the kitchen because the waffle iron alarm was being loud," Ruby answered causing Yang to sigh in relief and lower her pillow.
"In my defense even dad complained about that alarm."
"He even complained about the fire damage in the kitchen making you clean it up," Ruby answered jumping on to her bed covering herself in her blanket and yawned. "Night Yang."
"Night Rubes," Yang said laying back down in her bed.
As the night progressed each member of team RWBY managed to fall into a peaceful sleep… except Yang. Every time she nearly fell asleep she would either remember the demented Ruby or glance over at her sister just to check.
At around 2:30 in the morning Yang had almost managed to sleep lying down in her bed closing her eyes. Then just as she was about to be sucked into the ether she made the mistake of opening her eyes one last time to see the demented Ruby standing on the ceiling mouth open in a silent scream that petrified Yang causing her to faint. Ruby then chuckled and wiped the makeup off of her face as she walked over to her hanging bed. Taking off her cloak she allowed it to return back to the normal gravity landing gracefully on her bed as she disengaging her boots then laid back on her bed falling asleep.
fully functional since my mind is a bit scatterbrained. Wait... DID I MISS THE WHOLE CHAPTER?!
Well whatever, that seems to be evident enough to my inability to function. So I will be doing the Beacon Academy Beat Down arc for a few chapters. Which reminds me. Since I will be having characters fight other characters, instead of beating up main characters and CRDL, could I ask you guys for some OCs for the fighting chapters, and I will also use the OCs for a later time.
(Also, this part is new by the way, I've been thinking of making a new OC story completely different from A BLZEing Remnant to consume my now free time when A BLZEing remnant finishes its 'Breach'-ish chapter. And I have been reading some rather interesting OC stories that have a completely different plot that isn't tied to team RWBY and JNPR at all. And I've been thinking of making an OC team to do just that, and honestly, I think it would be fun. Maybe I could do a Star Warsish character on a team with a Dark Soulsish character and have two other strange pop culture type people, or I could have a Gears of War person where the White Fang are-
I'm rambling again. This is what happens when my brain works and I stay up late, and if anyone takes that idea I will... probably do nothing since you're doing that of your own free will and creating an actual story, but I will be watching *creepy music plays*. Anyway, I will be doing a few more chapters before I go back to the actual RWBY series story line, basically, BABD and Sedric meeting back up with Lucius. Now, back to the brainless me.)
Well, I thought the demonic Ruby part of the chapter was fun to do, so I could also make some fun prank stuff in the near future, if you guys enjoyed it let me know in the reviews and possibly give me ideas.
Well, my brain is about to qui-
