Alright everyone, I am J. Van A, and this is the last chapter of A BLZEing Remnant. I honestly had intended to do a whole lot more things with this story, but I believe this story is good enough as it is.

This chapter is relatively long, the chapter's story alone is 9,705 words long. So if nobody reads the ending part I'd like to say, thank you guys for reading this story, we have amassed over 12,000 views, and 2,000 of them are on the first chapter, which means that most of those people read the first chapter and thought, 'Well, this is stupid.' But anyway, I would also like to say thank you to K Wolf Omega for all of our ridiculous conversations, and another to Kaimi Kreissel for letting me use their OCs for these last few chapters and just having a bunch of conversations mostly where I had no brain.

Enjoy

"So should we wake them up?" Zaria asked Lapis looking towards the sleeping rest of her team.

"I think they can sleep for a while now," Lapis said then something caught his eye from under his bed. Being curious he looked under it and found a large blue battle axe similar to his own one. "I also think Blaise has been doing something on his own." He pulled the battle axe out from under the bed and inspected it. "Looks like it is only a combat weapon with no rifle counterpart."

"Actually," a Blaise said to him raising himself from his bed, "there is a gun counterpart." Blaise reached over to the battle axe and slid the back cover lock contraption down then separated them revealing a switch. Flicking the switch the shaft of the battle axe's metal casing broke apart into several half cylinders before they retracted back to the blade forming a protective case covering Lapis's hands. Then the blade of the battle axe split in half and expanded at the shaft forming a 'V' shape and on the side of the blade a small rectangular hole opened up. "All in all, it is a minigun battleaxe. I thought of the idea after watching Coco Adel in a sparring match once."

"I don't know about this," Lapis said holding the minigun in a battle stance. "I kinda prefer to have a rifle when I fight. This is a tad bit lighter than my other one though."

"That is because it is made of titanite, one of the toughest metals on Remnant." Blaise rolled back on his back. "Since Ruby and I had to work with several barrels instead of one there was plenty of empty space meaning the weapon would've bended easily using the same metal from your other battleaxe, we decided to make it using the heat and impact resistant metal. With this weapon you can fire roughly a couple hundred shot per minute without having to reload since we kinda had to downgrade with the firing speed because of the less barrels. So, be somewhat accurate and don't go against Coco."

"So, this took you a decent amount of time and money in making this weapon?" Lapis asked almost impressed before Blaise scoffed.

"We spent about one day on that. With Ruby quickly making the delicate parts and my semblance welding we managed to make that quickly. We have several more weapons made down in the workshop that nobody ever uses. You can check them out if you want, but some of them are prototypes that will most likely break quickly in combat." With that Blaise simply tilted his head back and started softly snoring.

"So, should we?" Zaria asked Lapis nearly jumping out the window before deciding against it.

"I think it would be cool," Lapis replied turning to the door.

Meanwhile at the White Fang research facility in eastern Vale, in the head researcher's office a White Fang grunt burst into the head researcher's office carrying a scroll.

"Orson, we have a message from the Queen," the assistant said before the black bear faunus slowly rose from his seat and walked towards the grunt. Taking the scroll he smiled as he read the message.

"Load the mutates then prepare the freighter for launch," he said with his eyes turning black shining his red irises at the comparably small grunt scaring him, "We attack tomorrow."

"Right away," the grunt sputtered before running away from the bear faunus.

"Finally," Orson said sitting down in his chair unbuttoning the top of his shirt revealing a crescent scar in the middle of his chest, "a chance to kill my maker."

"Holy shit," Lapis said entering the workshop looking at the weapons arranged along the walls just above their schematics. There were several variations of Crescent Rose lining the east wall and an assortment of railgun weapons aligned on the west wall. Looking at one such railgun that appeared visually similar to a minigun he read the title of the weapon on the schematic titled 'Flame Railthrower.' "Is it just me or do those two have a lot of time on their hands?"

"I think you may be right," Zaria said looking at a large spear with pivoting railguns at the base of the spearhead. "I mean is Blaise ever going to use any of these?"

"I think it was a more spur-of-the-moment kind of thing," Lapis said picking up a dark red ninjato with a pink sticky note saying 'Zaria' on it. He tossed the red blade to the redhead. "I think he wanted you to have this." He found another one and tossed to her again. "What do you think they do?"

"Well, let's see," she said looking at the back of the sticky note. "It says that if certain dusts are used and a small amount of aura were to be used on it during combat, it would create an arc of the element to attack a single enemy or several at a distance."

"So, are you going to keep it?"

"Yeah," she answered immediately. Finding two sheathes she placed the ninjatos in them then strapped them to her belt. "My old katanas were getting dull and chipped. Not to mention since Blaise made these they probably are better quality than my other weapons."

"Should we try them out?"

"Hey, wake up," a voice said from above Blaise. Opening his eyes he only could see a black silhouette.

He panicked. "Ah! The shadow people are back! Eva, get the anti-shadow people device!"

"Woah, woah, woah," the silhouette said moving from the light revealing it was Bruin Brown of BRNZ, "it's only us, Blaise."

"Oh," he replied getting out of bed.

"Out of curiosity, what is the anti-shadow people device?" Nicandra asked turning her head to Eva who was currently leaving the bathroom wearing a green towel wrapped around herself.

"Oh, it's just an aura piercing knife with a gun barrel built into the blade," she answered. "If Blaise were to use it, it would be aura cancelling making the bullet more effective at killing its target."

"And you guys use that on shadow people?" Zelony asked Blaise who yawned.

"Well, when the shadow people disappeared Lapis became paranoid-"

"Blaise became paranoid," Eva interjected.

"-and we devised a counter plan in case the shadow people came back-"

"He wanted to make a lethal knife-gun and didn't want to get kicked for not having a reason why he hid it in the nightstand."

"So, we've been waiting ever since for a good reason to use it," Blaise finished his story only attracting the attention of Bruin and Rouge whereas the rest of BRNZ was listening to Eva. "So anyway, how did you guys get in here and why are you here?"

"Oh yeah," Bruin said pulling up a message on his scroll from Ozpin and handed it to Blaise to look at. "Ozpin gave us the codes and had all the other teams take missions today, including most of our friends excluding team AQRS, which is kind of sad for us since we just got back and we barely got to hang out with PLTM (Platinum) before they left. I mean we got to hang out with them at the dance, but they also were hanging out with team AZRE (Azure, please don't yell at me Ace Wolfblade)-"

"Bruin," Blaise interrupted him looking up at the brunette from the scroll, "important details."

"Right, we don't have to go on missions because we went on ones throughout the year, also including team STAR who apparently decided on going to Atlas this morning for the soldier dude to visit his folks-"

"Who is team STAR?" Blaise asked Eva who shrugged.

"I think they went on a bunch of missions," Rouge said ignoring Bruin's ramblings.

"Ok, so we don't have to go on a mission," Blaise interjected stopping Bruin's rambling.

"Basically, also," he said swiping the scroll to the right pulling up a new message, "Ozpin told me to tell you to go to his office for a meeting with your siblings."

"Great," Blaise groaned, "What did they do this time?" He was about to pull off his shirt before he stopped to look at BRNZ. "You don't mind, do you?"

"No, we've seen these two shirtless plenty of times," Nicandra said pointing at the two men of BRNZ who were looking at the ceiling trying to divert attention to themselves.

"Great, it would take too long for you girls to leave," Blaise said taking off his shirt showing off his scars causing most of them to be surprised as Blaise walked to the wardrobe. "Before you ask, most of these came from growing up. Yes, I grew up on the streets; yes, I was a troublemaker; and yes, I did commit some crime. Any other questions?"

"Where did you get the crescent one?" Zelony asked as Blaise pulled a clean black shirt over his chest then he grabbed his coats.

"A little present from my older brother before my sister and I ran away," he replied pulling on his coat before exiting the room.

"Sheesh," Rouge said sitting down on the desk, "those must've hurt."

"So, I know you guys are comfortable here," Eva said getting everyone's attention, "but I'm still kind of naked here, and I'd like to change in peace."

"You know, it's nothing we haven't seen before, I mean we live with these two," Bruin said before Nicandra smacked him over the head.

"Don't mind him," she said pushing her team out of the room, "he's lying anyway."

As the door closed the team leaned against the opposing wall. Bruin thought for a moment then turned to Rouge. "Wasn't she already taking a shower when we went in?"

"I think so," she replied thinking for a moment.

"Then why did she not take clothes into the bathroom if she knew Blaise was in there?"

"You don't think-"

"Yes."

Blaise casually entered the office casually taking his coat off and placing it on the coat rack that wasn't there before next to the three other coat racks with each sibling's respective coat on it. Then he walked to the headmaster's desk and sat down in the chair next to his other siblings. Looking around the room he could only see his siblings and Ozpin.

"I will never fully understand where those coat racks come from," Ozpin said looking at the row of coats at the door.

"Get to business Ozpin," Lucius said sniffling his nose trying to get used to the small bandage on it. "You brought all of us here so I can only guess this doesn't involve the Manos Corporation and dust trade."

"Right," he said pulling out his scroll and swiped the video to the right appearing on the window behind him. "One of our spies in the White Fang managed to survive going to one of the research facilities and they got a message saying to attack someplace here in Vale." Pressing a button the scroll the video started to play on the window.

'Ozpin' the person said on the other side, 'some serious things are happening here at the facility. Orson is telling everyone to load the mutated grimm and the mutated faunus onto the modified freighter to be brought to the city if Vale. I'm going to send you some pictures, but they have a seriously high number of creatures, so if I were you I would have Ironwood have the Atlesian Military stationed around Vale.' Then the video went still.

"As you can see," Ozpin said flicking the video to the side to pull up several images, "they have several shipping crates of various mutated grimm. From what the images can tell us there are three variations: the wendigos, and a bear mutation we are calling nandis."

Sedric scoffed, "They are not mutated bear faunus. Most of the grimm there are probably like deer faunus or other ones that their animal counterparts are docile. When we genetically mutated them, they gained certain attributes of other grimm, that is why there are so many of each kind. If those faunus were bear faunus they would be much bigger and probably not mindless mutated grimm." They looked towards them in mild shock. "What? I was on the bad side. I was the only one there who knew how to properly use the machine so we don't have to worry about more than roughly 1,000 grimm."

"1,000 mutated grimm?"

"1,000 total, grimm and faunus combined," Sedric said then looked over to Lucia and Blaise. "With these two here, when the grimm show up they can just howl and control the grimm. Easy as pie." Ozpin swiped the image again to show one of the leader. "Or not."

"This is Orson," Ozpin began, "He is a bear faunus who is a bloodthirsty soldier. As you can see here he has black hair and black and red eyes. It has also been commonly reported to me that Orson has a crescent scar on the middle of his chest. And since both Blaise and Lucia have one on their chest I assume there is some significance to that."

"Well, there is a huge significance to that," Lucius began, "Back in my days as a mad scientist, when a faunus were to be placed through the machine it involved cutting into your chest to change your DNA from the inside creating mutations. Either the subject died, became a mutate, or survived becoming a hybrid that can survive longer in combat with enhanced skills and senses, ergo Blaise and Lucia."

"So, what is the best method of attack?" Ozpin asked the four who shrugged. "Ideas would be very helpful at this point. I received this message shortly after most of the teams left for their missions, so the only students we have in Vale are the ones with missions there."

"We can probably keep the teams who aren't going on missions to stay here at Beacon and when we get the reports we can have the students load up on the Revenant Wing to go to Vale," Lucius suggested.

"Blaise and I can probably attempt to control the grimm for short periods before Orson takes control," Lucia suggested. "That may give us some time to evacuate areas."

"Those might work," Sedric said then remembered. "Each mutated faunus has a microchip implanted into their heads that works as a kill switch in case they got out of control. I did have the kill switch codes, but they were changed before I left."

"So, if we were to get one chip we could have you or Lucius hack the chip and find the kill switch," Blaise said putting the pieces together. "But for that to happen, we'd need the chip meaning the mutates would have to attack."

"But only the mutated faunus have the chip," Sedric interjected. "So, even if we managed to get rid of the mutates the mutated grimm would still be alive, and one tarantulus alone can cause a lot of damage."

"So we need to kill all the mutated grimm by hand, and get our hands on one chip so it can be hacked into killing the mutates, which will take time," Ozpin said thinking through all this information. "If only we knew where they were attacking. I suggest each of you prepare yourselves for battle. And please don't tell the teams going on missions, most of the ones left are second or third years and they are going on important missions that also requires their attention."

"But we need help for fighting these grimm."

"Which is why we are requesting help from the teams who are not going on missions," Ozpin said flicking the image on the window to show team STAR. "We have teams AQRS, BLZE, BRNZ, and STAR available relatively team STAR is currently heading to Atlas they won't be able to return until after they land meaning they will most likely return in the midst of battle."

"I have an idea," Blaise said taking Ozpin's scroll, moments later he pulled up a white hooded figure. "This is Sergio Vasari, leader of an assassin organization. I've worked with him a couple of times and he owes me a couple favors for saving his life. If we can contact him we can have some extra support by nightfall."

"What have you been doing these three years?" Lucius asked his brother somewhat surprised.

"Not dying," he replied with a smirk.

"Ok," Ozpin said getting everyone's attention, "Blaise, you will contact Sergio and get as many of your assassins as you can to come here, when they get here have several of their scouts stationed in Vale. Lucius, I would appreciate it if there were no civilians caught in the crossfire, so you will be in charge of getting Linus's family and your own out of Beacon and taking a westward route to Mistral. Sedric, you created these beasts so you will be in charge of finding some countermeasure against them, the school's labs will be open to you. And Lucia, you will be in charge of helping with preparations and contacting AQRS, BLZE, and BRNZ to inform them of the situation. Any questions?"

"One," Lucia said, "Where are all the other teachers? Surely they can help out."

"Unfortunately, all of our teachers are busy helping the teams going on missions and Glynda is currently in Vale attending a conference for the next two days. So, for the next two days I am the only staff member excluding the ones present," Ozpin said then gestured for everyone to leave. "Now go, prepare for war."

"You're serious?" Eva asked Lucia as the three teams gathered at the cafeteria. "So shouldn't we get all of the students to help?"

"No," Lucia answered immediately, "This is something that we need to deal with in a small group. Involving a large number of people would more than likely cause a panic. Ozpin specifically said this needs to be conducted by only us, but then Blaise convinced him to allow for some outside help from the assassination organization he worked for. So, what we need to do is prepare for fighting. Any ideas?"

"Well, Blaise kind of has an arsenal in the workshops," Lapis said getting everyone's attention. "If we could bring them up, we could place them in the lockers making for easy access to some of the new weapons."

"So, is this kind of thing normal for you guys?" Bruin asked everyone.

Alex was about to answer, but then Blaise entered the room and beat him to it. "Normally it would be, but this is something on a completely new level. We are going to be facing against 1,000 mutated grimm and faunus with only roughly 70 people total. We're not all going to survive this and neither are the civilians of Vale. We have decided to be stationed here at Beacon.

"When the grimm army attack we will need to quickly load up into the Revenant Wing to fly to Vale. The assassins have their own ship that they will dock at the back of Beacon. Do not go near them unless I am with you or expect an aura piercing knife through the head. I am only going to say this once: I am willing to stay and fight, but some of you may decide to leave and try to survive on your own. I will not blame you for leaving; we are only students and probably have never faced against an enemy like this. So if you wish to leave, now is your chance."

They were all quiet thinking about their options until Bruin stood up. "I will stay," he said then began his speech, "We are all studying to be hunters and huntresses, a life of sacrifice. The world is in danger and we are the main defense. From what I can tell, the mutated grimm are a much greater threat than anything else. So I am willing to die protecting everything, so even if I were to fall I could feel at peace knowing that we saved lives, and I'd be more comfortable knowing my friends had my back."

"I'll stay," Zelony said standing next to Bruin followed shortly by both Nicandra and Rouge.

"And you guys?" Blaise asked looking towards AQRS and the rest of his team.

"Do you even have to ask?" Zaria asked standing up followed shortly by the rest of BLZE and AQRS.

"Great," Blaise said then smirked, "Now we're all standing, kinda cliche."

"Marilyn," Lucius said giving his wife a hug, "I want you to get the twins back to the estate, do not stop for anything, even if you hear the worst news, do not stop."

"I know," she said tightly hugging him back. "I want you to be safe, no recklessly getting into the fights. We don't need you dying again."

"I know," he said with a small chuckle. "I just want you to know that even though our time together has been short so far, but I will always love you."

"I will always love you too," she replied breaking out of the hug to pull her husband into a kiss.

"Eva, you can always come back with us," Linus said to his daughter after she quickly hugged her sister and said her goodbyes.

"I know dad," she said standing in front of her father, "but this is something I have to do. So, I just wanted to say this since I have never said it enough." She quickly wrapped herself around her father in a hug and pressed her head onto his chest. "I love you, dad."

"I love you too, Eva," he said then kissed her on the forehead. "Stay safe, my little girl."

"So, are you going to say goodbye to anyone?" Alex asked Blaise as they both worked on moving the several weapons from the workshops to the rocket lockers.

"Not really," Blaise said as he loaded the flame railthrower into his locker and loaded the large box filled with the extra ammunition. Walking to the right he loaded a crate of gravity ammunition into Lapis's locker. "My parents died years ago and my only family is staying here at Beacon. Marilyn and the nieces have left a while ago with Linus on a bullhead to head back to the estate taking the long route to avoid possible altercations with the White Fang."

"It almost seems like the White Fang has turned into an unstoppable power," Alex noticed loading the railgun spear into his locker. "If they have this much power, why don't they just take over the world?"

"It's not as easy as that," Blaise said slinging the railgun sniper rifle off of his back and placing it into another locker. "If they were to attempt a world domination they would be stopped immediately and faunus everywhere would be killed indiscriminately. As you can see that is completely counterproductive. And the organization I worked for would've stopped them long ago; they've single handedly stopped rebellions before any killings happened. Which, they should be arriving some time soon."

"So, what are they like?"

"Secretive. Have you ever heard of the term 'Deus Ex Machina'?" Blaise asked him.

"I think so. Isn't it a movie, and a video game?"

"No… well yes," Blaise shrugged, "but the term basically means any machine that can solve just about any problem at the last moment. Imagine the assassins as a machine, and the term applies to them. So as long as they are here, we won't have to worry about a thing. I believe we need to get some sleep before tomorrow."

"I'm already exhausted from moving all these weapons."

The rest of the day was spent by the teams working to prepare for the attack. Ozpin had informed Ironwood to have his ships stationed around Vale and also informed any teams in the town to be on watch. It was late when all of the teams managed to sleep. The next day was incredibly tense for everyone involved.

"When the hell are they attacking?!" Blaise shouted slamming his head onto the cafeteria's table leaving some scorch marks behind.

"Blaise, think about it, the longer we wait the more time we have to prepare," Eva said trying to comfort him.

"No, it is horrible the longer we have to wait," Blaise said lifting his head off of the table. "If the grimm attack at night it would be better for them strategically because the grimm faunus most likely can see in the dark. There would probably be less civilians out at that time, but I'm pretty sure you humans can't see in the dark."

"That would make sense," Nicandra added, "but I'm pretty sure only specific kinds of grimm can see in the dark so if they wanted to make the best tactical decision they would attack some time later in the day where they would have the grimm faunus attacking from the shadows and the mutated grimm in plain sight. When the civilians manage to hide from the grimm the faunus attack from the shadows."

"That's dark, but makes sense," Blaise said commending her. Then in the distance the sounds of a siren played off in the distance. "But I think something is going on now."

The group ran out of the cafeteria just in time to see a bullhead take off from the docks and head towards Vale. They were about to run towards the Revenant Wing and commence their plan until their scroll vibrated.

Opening his scroll Blaise could see it was a message from Ozpin saying, 'Don't go to Vale, it's not the mutates.'

"What the hell does he mean?" Blaise asked before his scroll began to ring. Clicking the answer button on the scroll appeared a hooded man with the only part of his face showing was his chin.

"Wolf," the man began, "We have encountered the enemy coming from the Emerald Forest."

"What do you mean Hawk?" Blaise asked him. "The spy said that the White Fang was going to attack Vale."

"Ask the flying freighter dropping crates of grimm near our location currently making an arc around the northern side of Beacon where they were supposed to attack."

"Alright, we need to come up with a new plan. Sergio, make sure that your people hold off the grimm until help arrives," Blaise said to the man nodding in response before closing his scroll.

"So Vale was never their target to begin with," Alex said drawing his dust blade and one kriegsmesser sword.

"No it wasn't," Blaise said drawing his cutlasses then the rest of the teams followed suit. "Ok everyone, new plan: BRNZ, you will go to the north-eastern side of Beacon to assist the assassins. Alex, Quinton, Shizuko and Zaria, you four will be going to the northern side of Beacon, fighting there will be high so you four will be perfect. Everyone else, stay here and snipe the freighter. I will be going to get Sedric and Lucia then I'll be going onto the freighter." He was about to run until Eva spoke up.

"No," Eva said making Blaise stop in his tracks, "You're not going onto that freighter. We are."

"Eva, we've been over this-"

"Still, you're not going onto that freighter alone. With my semblance I can be of more help up there than down here. Anyway, my arrows don't have as much range as their bullets," she said to him causing him to sigh.

"Fine, you can come with," Blaise said thinking for a moment. "Then how about this. Everyone continue with the plan, but Lapis, you will be much closer to the front lines. Get your new battle axe and call over your locker. There is a whole crate of Gravity rounds. Your job is to slow down the assault as best as you can to protect the snipers. When the grimm get too close, run back to the snipers and defend the best you can. By the time you get back there should be more front line fighters waiting for you."

"Does everyone understand their jobs?" Alex asked the group receiving several various agreements.

"Everyone, good luck," Blaise said then ran off to the main building with Eva close behind.

"Nicandra, how well are you at keeping you semblance active over a long period of time?" Rouge asked her partner as the team was running to the sounds of fighting.

"I'm getting fairly decent," she replied looking over to her partner raising an eyebrow. "Why? What are you planning?"

"You know how If I were to focus harder on my summoning I could make my earth elemental larger and stronger?"

"Yeah, you might've mentioned something about that, but I thought that your elementals were only out for a short periods of time before you unsummoned them."

"Well," she said shrugged, "If I try hard I can make a golem, anyway, when the fighting starts I need you to create some armor or weapons for it."

"I don't know if I can focus on that many things for that long."

"Well, you guys might want to figure out something fast," Bruin said quickly transforming his spear into its crossbow form. In a matter of seconds he sent several bolts in the direction of the fighting hitting a larger than normal ursa major in the face distracting it from the group of three assassins trying to retrieve their wounded

"Everyone remain calm!" Zelony said whipping his weapon forward wrapping the string around a beowolf's neck. In one swift movement he pulled the grimm down onto the ground just in time for an assassin to stab the grimm in the heart. "Help has arrived!"

"Yeah, I think they got that," Bruin said turning his crossbow back into a spear, then javelin threw it at the large ursa major impaling it in the head. Using his semblance he pulled his spear back into his hands just in time to impale another beowolf next to him.

"Today is going to be a long day," Nicandra said clicking her pen and activating her semblance as she began to draw.

"This is going to be so much fun!" Shizuko exclaimed as he readied her dual bladed katana activating the red dust giving the blades a slight glow. "Fighting side by side with my sister."

"Yeah, well no offense but I'd feel more comfortable with my cousin watching our backs," Alex said as the freighter started throwing crates of grimmonto the Beacon property.

"None taken," Zaria said pulling out her red ninjatos. "So Alex, what's the plan?"

"I create a mud trap to slow them down, Quinton blows them up with rockets, and we take care of the leftovers," Alex explained throwing a large blue dust crystal into the ground further ahead of them in front of the grimm. Shizuko quickly pulled out her desert eagle and shot the blue crystal mixing the water with the ground creating a large mud pit.

"Let's begin then," Quinton said turning his shield into a rocket launcher loading a rocket. Then he aimed for a second before firing one rocket hitting a shipping crate just as the doors opened creating a controlled explosion in the crate.

"Next time I see Blaise, I am going to beat his stupid head in," Lapis grumbled to himself as his locker landed next to him. Taking the crate out of his locker he grabbed his first battle axe and holstered it on his back. Activating the new battle axe's transform mechanism he grabbed the end of the gravity bullet line up and loaded it into the slot.

Looking ahead he could see a large swarm of wendigos and nandis, and he could feel their eyes lock onto him. Sighing he readied himself as the minigun's spare armor plating formed a stand to better steady the gun.

"Now then," he said pulling the trigger to start the gun's rotations. "Are you fuckers coming over here or do I have to come over there myself?!" he shouted as the bullets began firing hitting each of their targets throwing the grimm back.

"This is going to either be brilliant or completely stupid," Eva said to Blaise holding onto his back as they ran up the side of Beacon's main tower after they had informed Sedric and Lucia of their new plan.

"To be completely honest, they're always the same with me," Blaise said as they neared the top of the tower.

"Sometimes I really hate your honesty," Eva said squeezing Blaise's back tigher.

"You're the one who wanted me to be more honest," Blaise replied jumping off the side of the tower deactivating his boots to perform a flip. Then beginning their free fall he aimed his boots in the direction of the freighter snapping his fingers twice. "This is going to be either really cool or stupid."

"I already said that."

"But you aren't the one who is trying to land on the freighter from the same equivalent force of jumping off of a skyscraper," Blaise said focusing his aura to his legs to protect them as the freighter was approaching at rapid speeds.

Bracing himself Blaise landed onto the freighter causing a massive dent in the deck of the ship while managing to knock the freighter back a little. The knockback caused the workers and crates down in the cargo bay to be thrown in the opposite direction of the open doors stopping the unloading process momentarily.

"Stupid, but it worked," Eva said hopping off of his back. "Now what?"

"Take my scroll and call up my locker. We can try to burn the ones down in the cargo bay using the flame railthrower," Blaise said pulling his pistols off of his belt and firing off two quick shots knocking two White Fang grunts off of the railing of the freighter hurtling towards the ground.

"It's on its way," Eva said placing the scroll back on Blaise's belt. Moments later the locker landed right next to Blaise and opened revealing the large railgun. "How does that even work?"

"There are hundreds of thousands of small metal beads filled with fire dust. The electromagnetism throws the metal beads nearly as fast as railgun bullets activating the dust creating a long range flamethrower," Blaise said firing off the flame railthrower on the deck of the ship at the large group, but just before the beads fired off the machine sparked and smoke dwindled out of the gun. "It worked in theory," he said then threw the gun into the middle of the group and shot it using his railgun pistol creating an explosion throwing several more grunts off of the railing but managing to open one of the cargo bay large container's roof. Moments later several long legs started climbing out of the hole.

"Oh shit, is it a tarantulus?" Eva asked him as he groaned when the grimm spat acid at the duo. Blaise simply activated his semblance and swatted at the acid igniting it keeping both of them safe.

"Yeah, it's a tarantulus."

"Somehow, I have a feeling that we got the short end of the stick," Rouge said knocking the ursa's claw to the side with her barbed sword. Then she activated her semblance creating a red emblem to her open side and her fire elemental salamander appeared on her side and breathed its fire on the ursa distracting it. The she shoved her barbed sword into the grimm's head then pulled it out destroying the ursa's head.

"Would you rather be on the freighter?" Bruin asked her retracting his spear head into the shaft of the spear then he began fighting both of the beowolves on each side of him. He briefly looked at Rouge who was looking towards the freighter seeing the tarantulus fighting two small figures. She smiled. "Forget I asked."

"Now, how about a little help here," Zelony said whipping the yoyo at the large group of wendigos he was currently trying to cut in half with his yoyo's blades.

"Fine," Bruin said turning his pole back into spear form quickly impaling both beowolves before running to help his partner. Javelin throwing the spear again he impaled a wendigo in the head and quickly used his semblance to pull it back just as he approached the group. Spinning the spear around his back he hit one wendigo in the chest with the end of the shaft, then completing his spin he knocked said grimm to the ground making it easier to impale. As the spear went through the grimm's chest and impaled the ground he activated his semblance creating several bolts of light that struck and killed several of the wendigos in the immediate area. He pulled the spear out from the grimm and turned to his partner. "Happy?"

"That'll do fine," Zelony replied then stuck his hand out creating a pulse freezing the nandi behind Bruin long enough for his to whip his yoyo forward slicing the nandi's head vertically in half.

"Zelony!" Nicandra shouted getting the green haired man's attention. She pointed behind him directly at the three tarantulus approaching the group. He immediately understood throwing both hands out creating a pulse freezing all three tarantulus.

"I've got these guys here for about a minute, but then I'm spent," Zelony said cringing as he focused on keeping these grimm frozen in place.

"Rouge."

"Already ahead of you," Rouge said focusing on her earth emblem as a large humanoid rock golem emerged from the emblem. "Nicandra, some armor and weapons would be nice for this guy."

"On it," she replied as she quickly used her semblance to create two giant broadswords that appeared in the golem's hands, then over the next thirty seconds several layers of rock armor appeared over the golem's arms, chest, and head. "Now I just need to focus on keeping their forms intact."

"Zelony, we're ready," Bruin said then Zelony dropped his arms and nearly fell on the ground but was caught by Bruin. "I'm taking him somewhere safe. can you two handle yourselves for a few minutes."

"I think we can handle ourselves," Rouge said then the golem let out a loud roar as it ran towards the tarantulus.

He picked up Zelony and threw him over his shoulder. Then he caught the attention of some of the assassins who were finishing their battle. "You guys need to protect these two until I get back."

"Just hurry," Nicandra said as the golem collided with the center tarantulus throwing it to the ground as it raised its broadsword blocking both of the other tarantulus's claws.

"So, anything happen?" Sedric asked as he and Lucia both approached the group.

"Nothing here yet," Reita said firing off another bullet hitting a wendio just as it was about to hit her cousin. "So far I've been taking pot shots at grimm. Blaise also gave me a locker number for you guys to send here." She handed Lucia the paper. After she typed the code in a rocket locker landed next to her and the door opened to reveal the railgun sniper rifle.

"Heh, Sedric, remember when Ruby kicked you ass with this thing?" Lucia asked her brother as she picked up the rifle.

"I'd prefer not to relive that memory," Sedric said then Lucia hit him in the chest. "What?"

"They're unloading again. We're going to be neck deep in grimm soon, look," she said handing him the rifle. Looking through the rifle he saw the White Fang grunts pushing another crate out of the bay doors. Then looking to the deck of the freighter seeing Blaise and Eva currently fighting a tarantulus. Taking aim he fired off one round hitting the grimm's head leaving a crack on the underside of its head.

"Shit, shit, shitshitshitshit!" Lapis shouted as he ran towards the group then slid down on the ground re-aiming his minigun at the horde then fired off several more gravity rounds until the bullets ran out.

"Well, this is going to be interesting," Sedric said as the grimm saw him and roared louder. "So they remember me." Pulling his zweihander off of his back he furled it into its machine gun form and began firing off rounds into the group of grimm.

Lucia pulled out her shotgun and waited till the grimm got close to her before she fired off a round throwing the group back with the force of the scatter-shot. Lapis hit the transform switch on his battle axe turning it back into the normal battle axe form. While it was transforming her reached to his back and pulled off his original axe swinging upward cutting a wendigo in half just as the new battle axe finished transforming. Picking up the new battle axe with his free hand he began swing both of the battle axes killing any of the grimm that got close.

Reita had resorted to using her semblance to hide from the grimm, but they could tell she was there from the several grimm exploding randomly or being cut in half by her shortsword. Just as his gun ran out of ammunition Sedric unfurled his zweihander and joined the fight mowing down five grimm at a time.

"I kinda wonder how much action each place is getting?" Shizuko asked as she shoved her blade into the head of the upper half of a wendigo.

"Well, our plan was a sound one," Quinton said firing his last rocket into the last crate killing most of the grimm. "I mean would you rather be in potential danger?"

"I don't know, this seems kind of boring," Alex said using his semblance to utilize the mud managing to drown the rest of the mutated grimm under the ground.

"So, we should help out," Zaria said pointing at the massive horde running towards the western side of Beacon near the docks.

"Probably," Quinton said pulling out his lance flattening out his shield. Then he activated his semblance charging at the horde.

"Of course we had to take the stupidest place!" Eva shouted as she dodged another acid stream then one claw nearly impaling her.

"Well, you asked to come along!" Blaise shouted back from the top of the tarantulus attempting to stab into the grimm's back.

"Because I thought we were going to be fighting Orson, not this thing!" she shouted as she fired off one flame arrow bouncing uselessly off of the tarantulus's armor exploding somewhere off of the freighter. Suddenly there was the sound of a gunshot and the tarantulus's head jerked back revealing it had been shot leaving a crack behind. "Blaise! Under the jaw!"

"Got it!" Blaise said sheathing his cutlasses then reaching to the back of his belt and pulled out a larger version of his railgun pistol that Lucia had used to blow up the statue earlier that month. Running up the tarantulus's back jumping off the grimm's head heading straight for the deck. Just as he was under the grimm he aimed up and fired off a large explosive round into the grimm's underjaw creating a large explosion destroying the tarantulus's head. Landing on the ground he groaned as the tarantulus's headless body fell backwards over the railing. "I hate those things."

"Now we just need to find Orso-" Eva said before she was interrupted by a cannonball sized bullet hit the wall right next to her head destroying said wall.

"You rang?" the bear faunus asked setting his cannon down on the ground off his shoulder. "The Queen ordered me to attack Beacon to kill the Campiones. I'm surprised one of you just decided to show up on my doorstep. Blaise, I'm guessing. Look at what you brother Sedric had created." He gestured towards himself. "I am his greatest creation. Now let me ask you this." He paused for a moment allowing for his whole body to grow black fur, then over his arms grimm plates began to form then over his chest, legs, and eventually his head. "Who will win: the grizzly bear or the grey wolf?"

"Go, Emmet!" Rouge shouted in encouragement as the golem impaled its broadsword into the base of a tarantulus's head killing it.

Leaving the broadsword behind the golem dodged the acidic spit of one of the two tarantulus left. Sweeping the legs of one of the tarantulus Emmet was about to go for the kill before the second tarantulus spat acid hitting the base of the broadsword breaking it off landing harmlessly next to the downed tarantulus. The second tarantulus then jumped at Emmet imbedding its legs into its armor staying in place in the perfect position to spit acid at the golem's head.

After the acid started to eat through the helmet Emmet raised one of its giant arms and swatted the tarantulus off of its armor breaking it off in the process. Taking off its helmet the golem threw it into the downed tarantulus's head cracking the armor plate before Emmet raised its giant foot and stomped down on the grimm's head killing it.

Before Emmet could get back into the fight the last tarantulus jumped at Emmet landing on its back. In its straddling position the tarantulus spat a steady stream of acid at Emmet's unprotected head managing to kill the golem before it disappeared from Rouge unsummoning it.

"Emmet!" Rouge shouted collapsing onto the ground from exhaustion. Nicandra had done the same much. They both looked at the tarantulus currently cutting through the group of assassins Bruin had put in charge of protecting them.

After it had spat acid at the last of the assassins it began walking towards the two girls. They looked up in horror as the spider gimm stood over them dripping acid from its mouth onto the ground in front of them. They each closed their eyes and prepared for the worst… until they heard loud shouting rapidly approaching the two. Opening their eyes they could see Bruin flying directly for the tarantulus.

Impaling the tip of his spear into the tarantulus's mouth he activated his semblance generating a continuous stream of bolts of light that hit the tarantulus knocking it back. Riding the grimm as it fell down onto its back not even letting up on the bolts of light.

"NOTHING HARMS MY FRIENDS!" Bruin shouted as he continued creating more bolts of lights colliding with the grimm's armor plates cracking underneath the assault. Then in one swift movement he pulled out his spear then impaled it into the grimm's head and with one last burst of his semblance four giant bolts of light impaled themselves into the tarantulus's head killing it.

"That was interesting." Bruin took his spear out of the grimm's head then hopped off. Then he walked over to the girls and hoisted one over each shoulder. "Did you seriously think you were going to die there?"

Sedric grunted as he swung his zweihander down on the base of a wendigo's head decapitating it. "Guys, I'm going to need a bit of time to get the chip and bring it to Lucius for decoding."

"How are you going to get it?" Lapis asked looking to the wolf faunus who grew out his claws and plunged his hands into the wendigo's head. "Nevermind."

Moments later he pulled out the chip with his hands covers in wet crimson. "I'm going to need to run. You'll know when we've succeed." He then wiped his hand off as he ran towards the main building where Lucius was working on a decoding program with Ozpin.

"Great, now how are we supposed to hold out without the zweihander chopping down several grimm at once?" Reita asked stabbing a wendigo in the chest.

"I don't think we have to worry about that," Lapis said as he heard a battle cry approaching the group, "The cavalry is coming."

Then Quinton could be seen charging directly into the horde with several wendigos and nandis impaled on his lance and the rest of the grimm bouncing off his shield. Then a blue crystal was thrown above the horde the horde and was shortly after cut by a yellow arc of electricity. The water from the crystal shot from the crystal and with the assistance of Alex collecting grimm into a orb of water and Zaria's electricity dust arcs, a large portion of the horde died.

"Now it's a party!" Shizuko exclaimed as she decapitated a wendigo then spun the dual bladed katana over her shoulders decapitating several more wendigos and some nandis.

"You're good, but not good enough," the demonic voice of Orson said to Blaise as he punched Blaise in the face again leaving Eva to stare in horror due to Blaise ordering her to stay out of the fight.

"Now that one hurt," Blaise commented taking his trench coat off setting it on the ground. Spitting out a bit of blood he looked up at Orson feeling his eyes turn black.

"Finally," Orson said chuckling, "You're starting to take this seriously."

"Go fuck yourself," Blaise said uppercutting Orson not even causing him to stagger.

Orson simply grabbed Blaise's shoulders and kneed him in the chest. Then he pulled Blaise up and punched him in the face throwing him back several feet.

"Come on," Orson said cracking his fingers as he walked over to Blaise. "Lose control, become like me. We are above the humans, and I don't feel like killing someone who was holding back."

"You want me to lose control?" Blaise asked him simply getting a smile in reply. "Fine." He staggered back up to his feet already feeling the black aura swirl around himself. He could feel his body growing black fur all over his body then over his hands grimm plate armor started forming a gauntlet around his hands. Then under his clothes he could feel the armor forming, then he could feel armor form over his face only covering the upper part of his face stopping just past his hairline. Then white grimm armor formed around his jaw and chin.

"Now that is interesting," Orson laughed as he charged at Blaise. Just before the bear mauled the wolf, Blaise uppercutted Orson with a flaming fist that threw him back.

Blaise turned to Eva. "Eva, I need you to get me locker #548, now!" She quickly pulled out her scroll and typed the code into her scroll and waited for the locker to arrive.

"No outside help!" Orson shouted charging at Eva. Just before he attacked her Blaise collided with the bear falling through the hole on the deck into the cargo bay from the explosion of the flame railthrower.

"You aren't touching one hair on her head!" Blaise shouted at Orson as the both fell down the hole. When they landed Blaise immobilized Orson's arms and began punching the bear in the face.

"Come on, Blaise," Orson said then spat in Blaise's face hitting the grimm armor, "Kill me, I know you have an aura cancelling blade in your sleeve. Do it."

"No," Blaise said smirking as he let the grimm plates fall off his body and the hair deteriorating, "I won't kill you. Not yet at least. I have a special plan for you." He extened the wrist blade and cut Orson's cheek then he jumped off the bear faunus and climbed up the cargo bay wall until he was able to jump back through the hole.

"So, you didn't kill him?" Eva asked him as the rocket locker landed on the other side of the deck next to Blaise's things.

"No, I have something special for him," Blaise said pulling on his coat then sheathed his cutlasses back on his belt. Opening the locker Blaise pulled the railgun spear out of the locker and pivoted the railgun counterparts away from the tip of the spear.

Then Orson jumped out of the hole and began charging at the two. Blaise ran up to Orson and punched him in the chest throwing him into a wall. Then Blaise threw the railgun spear and just as it left his hands the railguns fired off impaling Orson through his grimm plates to the wall leaving him alive.

"So are we just going to leave him there?" Eva asked him as he walked to the railing.

"Eva, do you still have that antimatter arrow?" Blaise asked her with a smirk on his face.

"You're serious?"

"Of course, not to mention, this ship is going to need to disappear," Blaise said as she pulled her case from the back of her belt. "Unless someone speaks about this to the wrong people, the battle today never happened. We need to get rid of the evidence, especially Orson, because if they see what he can do, then the governments will try to replicate what he is, what I am. So the best thing we can do is get rid of the freighter, and the best way is using the antimatter arrow."

"So you just want me to shoot the freighter when we get to the ground?" she asked him sitting against the railing ignoring Orson's shouts of pain.

"Well, I originally had intended on doing an epic thing when we jumped off where you shot the freighter on the way down, but then again, the ground is probably safer," Blaise said placing one foot on the railing then extended a hand out to her. "Shall we?"

"We're so dead," Zaria said as the mutates back the group into a circle and were waiting patiently for an opening to attack.

"I wouldn't say so," Lucius said to the group leaving the main building casually carrying his staff and his scroll.

"Lucius?" Lucia asked her brother who smiled. "Why don't you press the button?"

"Give the program a second to work," he replied just as several wendigo's jumped at him. He simply slammed the top of his staff into the ground causing all the wendigos to experience an increase in gravity as the program was finishing. "Anyway, why didn't you just howl and control them?"

"Ok, right," Lucia said embarrassed just as the program finished and Lucius pressed the kill switch causing all the mutates to go limp.

"Did we miss anything?" Blaise asked as he landed on the courtyard with Eva on his back. Coming from the main building Ozpin starting walking towards the group carrying Nicandra followed by Sedric carrying Zelony and Bruin carrying Rouge.

"Oh, Mr. Campione, I believe you didn't miss a thing," Ozpin said.

"I didn't ask anything?" both Sedric and Lucius said at the same time smirking.

"Now I see why Glynda was irritated," Ozpin said setting Nicandra down on her own feet. "Now this is very important: the events that have occurred today must never be mentioned. Today has to not have happened. The assassins have already left and the grimm are deteriorating, and I have a feeling the events occurring in Vale will have me in enough trouble as it is. So, we must all be sworn to secrecy, and never mention it to anyone in power or hold a government position, or even worse, Ms. Goodwitch. Especially Goodwitch."

"I think we'll agree to that," Alex said then turned to the freighter, "but how are we going to get rid of that big chunk of evidence?"

"We have a plan," Eva said pulling the antimatter arrow from its case and then she notched the arrow on her longbow. The then released the string letting the arrow fly. "You might want to cover your eyes."

Then the freighter suddenly exploded before imploding for a second causing a second explosion that released a bright light. Moments later the entirety of Beacon was hit by the shockwave nearly throwing the group backwards.

"Soooo…" Blaise said trailing off looking towards Ozpin, "if anyone asks we were creating experimental fireworks."

"I think that would be somewhat believable," Ozpin said taking a drink from his mug as he watched the light disappear from the sky making sure there were no remnants left of the freighter. "Now then, I suggest that everyone take the rest of the school year off and relax."

"Yeah," the group agreed then began walking back to the dorms. They were about to all disperse, but Lucius stopped his siblings and Eva.

"Hey guys, I am going back to the Manos estate to be with Marilyn. Do any of you guys want to came back with me?" he asked them all.

"I think that would be fun," Sedric said. "And I don't think Ozpin is going to have us do anything for the rest of the summer.

"I'd kind of like staying with the twins," Lucia said.

"And you two?" Lucius asked Blaise and Eva who looked at each other for a moment.

They smiled and Blaise wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "I think we're good where we are," Blaise said. "Not to mention, we have another family to spend the summer with. Stay safe, you guys."

"I think we should be telling you that."

So, now that was a thing. It took me a few days to do, but I got it done in the end.

So, I have a few things to say: I will be taking a break from writing fanfiction for a while because I am a little tired. I might do the whole 'J. Van A's Guide to OC Writing' soon. When I do get back to writing fanfiction I will be writing for my other story 'Shine Bright Like the STARs' so if you want to read some more of my work just go over to my profile and click on the other story there.

Again with the thanks to you guys. I had honestly originally started this story as something to do during my study hall, and now I managed to make a whole complete story. I will probably make a sequel to this story sometime around the end of Volume 3.

Well, I think I am going to let you guys go soon.

I look forward to seeing you guys in the near future.

Have a nice day,

-J. Van A
