Chapter 14

"Maka…I…I Love You."

"…I…I l-love y-you t-too Soul…"

Soul smiled and pulled Maka into the tightest hug ever. Maka wrapped her around him returning the hug. After the hug Soul looked at Maka.

"What is it Soul?" Maka asked when she noticed him staring at her.

"I wanna know what really happened with Kim,Blair, and Jacky."

"They found out by themselfs that I liked you…then they said all those horrible things that I told you earlier…" Maka looked away.

Soul used his finger to turn Maka's head so she was looking at him again. "Well non of the stuff they said is true. You wanna know why?"

"Why?"

"Because you found someone that loves you for you, not your body."

Maka blushed alittle then attack Soul to the ground with a hug. They fell to the floor, Soul underneath and Maka ontop of him.

"I love you Maka." Soul smiled.

"I love you too Soul." Maka smiled back.

~Next Day~

Soul and Maka walked to school hand-and-hand. When they got to school Black*Star and the others were already there.

Soul and Maka walked over to their friends. Before anyone could speak Liz screamed loudly.

She ran over to Soul and Maka and pointed to there hands that were intertwined.

"DID I MISS SOMETHING!?" She screamed.

When Tsubaki, and Patty noticed what Liz was screaming about they ran over squealing with joy. The girls crowded around Maka as they screamed and giggled.

Soul let go of Maka's hand so he could get away from the three screaming girls.

He walked over to Kid and Black*Star. He noticed that Black*Star was smirking at him.

"What are you smirking about?" Soul asked kinda annoyed that Black*Star had that smile on his face.

"So you finally told Maka that you liked her!" Black*Star screamed.

"Yep." Soul replied bluntly.

"I'm glad you told her, because if you weren't planning on telling her soon I was going to make you some how."

"Wait!? What!? Why wasn't I informed about Soul liking Maka!?" Kid a bit annoyed that he was left out of a very important conversation.

"Because when I told Black*Star you were at home worrying about your house being symmetrical." Soul said lazily.

"But why didn't you tell me when you saw me!?"

"Because we didn't, now deal with it!" Black*Star screamed.

"I can't believe you too! I would like to know!" Kid screamed very pissed. Soul and Black*Star just laughed at Kid.

~With The Girls~

"So are you and Soul dating now!?" Liz screamed excitedly.

"Yes!" Maka screamed back.

"I'm so happy for you Maka! Soul and you make such a cute couple!" Tsubaki giggled and Maka blushed lightly.

"Soul and Maka sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G, first come Love, than comes Marriage, then Comes a baby in a baby carriage!" Patty repeatedly sang over and over and Making Maka blush even more.

"So what happened?" How did you and Soul get together?" Liz asked.

"Well it started when Kim, Blair, and Jacky said some horrible things because they had found out that I like Soul. Later when Soul got back from hanging out with Kid and Black*Star he asked what was wrong and I told him what had happened. He ended up telling me he liked me and kissed me."

There was a pause before all the girls screamed, "YOU GUYS KISSED!?"

"Y-Yeah." Maka said stuttering a bit.

The girls ended up screaming once again and this time even louder. Maka had to cover her ears cause their screaming was so loud.

After the girls finished their screaming fit Maka spoke.

"We should head to class now."

"Yeah that would be a good idea." Tsubaki replied.

The girls walked over to Soul,Kid, and Black*Star. Soul smiled when his eyes landed on Maka. He walked over to her and intertwined his hand with hers.

They walked into the school building. When girls started noticing Soul and Maka holding hands they gasped in horror.

As those girls would walk by they would whisper rude things only loud enough for Maka to hear they also sent angry glares too. Maka started to feel very nervous with all the stares, glares, and rude comments. She moved alittle closer to Soul trying to hide.

The gang passed by a group of girls and that's when Kim, Blair, and Jacky saw what was going on. They got so angry that they walked straight over to Maka. blair pushed Maka down She fell to the ground and yelped.

"BLAIR WHAT THE HELL!?" Soul screamed

Blair ignored Soul and kicked Maka in the stomach. Kim and Jacky soon joined in and started kicking Maka in various places.

Maka let out screams of pain each time one of the girls feet hit her in theHead, Stomach, Legs, Arms, Back, Etc.

Soul, Kid, and Black*Star tried to grab the three girls and pull them away from Maka but ended up getting an elbow to the stomach or chest.

"WE TOLD YOU THAT SOUL IS OURS!" Blair screamed kicking Maka in the Face.

"WE TOLD YOU TO STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM HIM!" Kim screamed kicking Maka hard in the stomach.

"YOU DIDN'T LISTEN TO US SO NOW YOU WILL PAY!" Jacky screamed kicking Maka in the Back and legs.

"STOP! LEAVE MAKA ALONE!" Soul screamed trying to get to Maka.

Finally some staff members came and grabbed hold of the three girls. Once the girl were away from Maka Soul quickly ran over to her. She was cover in blood from her nose that was smashed, and bruises that had already started to form. Soul picked Maka up quickly and ran to the Schools infirmary.

The gang followed after Soul and Maka to the infirmary.

~Souls POV~

I sat in the schools infirmary just watching Maka. She had fallen asleep from some pain medication the nurse gave her.

It turned out that her nose was broken, she had some fractured ribs, and a broken arm. Who knew that the kicks from Kim and the other two were that hard to break and fracture something.

I knew they were violent but I didn't know that they were this much. Who in the right mind start beating someone for a stupid reason infront of a bunch of people.

I sighed I was told I could take Maka home once she wakes up but I would have to help her with her bandages and some other stuff. I soon dozed off as I watched Maka's chest rise and fall with each breath she took.

A couple hours later…

School had ended and the gang came to the infirmary to see how Maka was doing.

As they all talked I thought about how i was gonna get Maka home. I couldn't have Maka on the back of my motorcycle while she was injured.

I was lucky that Kid offered to help take Maka home in his car, that was after he had a fit about Maka not being symmetrical anymore. To Patty it was funny as hell watching Kid have a symmetry fit. She was on the ground countless of times gasping for air because she was laughing to hard at kid.

As soon as we got to our place I set Maka down on the couch since I had to carry her from the car into the house bridle style.

The gang came in and we talked some for awhile.

It was late when everyone left but not before the girls took pics of Maka and I. Apparently Maka sleeping on my Lap was so adorable.

I picked Maka up and brought her to her bedroom. I set her down gently in her bed and pulled the covers over her small body. I was turning to leave when she reached out and grabbed my wrist. I gave her a questioning look.

"P-please s-stay…" she both stuttered and blushed.

I stood frozen in place for a couple if seconds before smiling and nodding.

She smiled and moved over making room for me. I got in the bed and she snuggled close to me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled the covers over the both of us.

She rested her head on on my chest and slowly falling into a deep sleep. Soul watched Maka for a bit before falling into a deep sleep himself.

The next morning I woke up to our legs being tangled. I looked at her and smiled as I leaned in and kissed her soft pink lips.

I watched a he eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Hey beautiful." I said as she awoke.

She giggled and responded, "hey handsome." I chuckled and kissed her once more.
