Meeting the team

MIA'S POV

"So Mia are you ready to get out of this bed and meet everyone around here?" Dana asked me the next day after she and Carter had eaten breakfast with me. Carter had stayed the night so I wouldn't get scared but he had to leave to go talk to someone about me staying with them after we had breakfast.

"I sure am, can I still call you mommy in front of your fwiends?" I asked

"You sure can, and I can almost guarantee that most everyone will let you call them auntie or uncle"

"Really?"

"Yep now let's get you changed out of those clothes. I found some of my stuff from when I was your size but if you feel like it we can go shopping with Kelsey and get you some clothes of your own later."

"Can they be pink?" I asked in excitement

"Yes they can be pink." Mommy laughed slightly "now come on let's get you changed so we can go introduce you to everybody. I think Joel and Chad might even have something special for you that they got last night."

"Weally do you know what it is?"

"Yep but you'll just have to wait to find out so come on let's get you cleaned up I think you've been in this bed for long enough." Dana said as she helped me out of the bed and carried me into a bathroom where she already had a bath ready for me with bubbles and everything. "Now you have to be careful not to get that cast wet so I'm going to wrap it in some plastic wrap okay?"

"Uh huh!" I nodded happily as I held up my arm for mommy to wrap so I could play in the bubbles. She did so and then helped me get undressed before picking me up and placing me in the bubbles. As I splashed around mommy washed my hair. A little while later mommy told me it was time to get out and meet everybody else. She dressed me in a pink sundress with red flowers all over it and brushed my hair back and put it into a pink headband with a big red flower.

"There now you look even cuter then before sweetie, come on let's go I think daddy is waiting with everyone else." Mommy said as she picked me up so we could go find daddy. We walked down a lot of different hallways before we got to a big gray door and mommy put me down and held my hand. "You ready?"

"I'm weady mommy, I want to see daddy" I said and mommy laughed as she opened the door and let go of my good hand letting me run across the room and jump up into daddy's lap. Giggling I gave daddy the biggest hug I could hiding my face in his shirt.

"Hey there Mia. Did mommy get you all cleaned up?" Daddy asked me

"Uh huh and she made me look like a princess." I said making daddy laugh

"Well that's because you are a princess Mia." Daddy said as he hugged me back before picking me up and turning me around so I was facing everyone in the room. Mommy had taken the seat next to daddy on the couch. "Mia I want you to meet everyone. Over there is Joel, next to him is Chad and that is Kelsey" daddy said as he pointed to each one as he said their name.

"Hi" I said quietly as I tried to hide my face in daddy's shirt again as my shyness took over.

I heard someone moving before someone spoke "Mia, Joel and I went out last night and we got you something" I felt something soft placed in my lap and when I pulled my head away from daddy's shirt I found a pink fluffy teddy bear with red eyes and a red nose looking back at me. I looked up at Chad who was still knelt down in front of me and smiled. I grabbed the bear and gave Chad a hug before climbing off of daddy's lap and running over and giving Joel a hug as well. I guess I caught them by surprise because it took a little while for them to hug back.

After giving them each their hug I climbed back up into daddy's lap and sat facing them with the teddy also sitting in my lap. Mommy had moved into a seat next to Kelsey and was talking quietly about something. It was quiet in the room except for the quiet talking and I took this as my chance to look around. It was then that I realized something, the window in the room was looking out underwater and little fish kept swimming by.

"Daddy?" I asked looking up at him

"Yes, Mia?"

"Why are we underwater?"

"Oh well umm you see... we're not just average people... Have you ever heard of the power rangers?"

"Uh huh of course I have, everybody has."

"Well you see we're them... We're the power rangers."

"Wow my new mommy and daddy are power rangers just like my old mommy! That's soooooo cool!" I exclaimed. Everyone's head snapped towards me when I said my old mommy was a power ranger. Mommy got up from her seat and knelt down in front of me.

"Mia, what do you mean your old mommy was a power ranger?" She asked as she looked at me.

"Just what I said. She was a samurai ranger, and almost no one knows about them. She used to tell me stories about her battles and how I would grow up big and strong and be just like her!"

"You want to be a ranger when you grow up?" Daddy asked me.

"Not want to, I will be the samurai powers are passed down from mommy to daughter or I guess daddy to son for the boys I guess or at least that's what mommy said."

AN: Sorry about the cliff hanger and the very long wait I know it has been over two years since I have posted anything but to be honest I hit a major writers block and would get all these awesome ideas in my head but once I grabbed my computer or iPad I could just never get it written down... I have been working on this chapter and chapters to all my other stories in my absence. I am hoping to get most of my stories updated but please don't hold me to that as I don't know when my brain will take and unexpected vacation again. Again I am sorry about the wait and I hope you enjoyed this chapter.

Oh and if you guys ever have any suggestions to something that could possibly make this story or any of my other stories better I will gladly take them into consideration and see if I can work it into my story line... just PM me your suggestions and I will have a look at them.
