This has to be like the fastest update I have ever made, thanks to a little free time that i now have, and inspiration to write a band fic lol.
By the way, I forgot to mention the song performed on the previous chapter. It's If You Can't Hang by Sleeping With Sirens.
Also, I decided to put up the links to the songs I mention in the chapters from now on, so you can listen to it, and kinda get the feel of it too.
So, visit my profile to check out the links, and pace your reading!

Lucy
We went backstage, a thundering applause following, as I took the steps down. I nodded at the next group which was going up to perform, but I could not encourage them or whatsoever- my mind was heavily preoccupied, like a race car on the Formula 1 pit.
The show we put was awesome, my nerves were still tingling from having first performed live on the competition. As I played the drums, my eyes were scanning the crowd, looking at my drums occasionally as I played. It was then when I saw that flash of blue. A very familiar shade of blue. The person's face was blocked by a burly looking man dressed in black. As the crowd roared, the man shifted slightly, and I nearly gasped.
Jellal Fernandes hadn't changed at all. He still had his mop of sleek blue hair, designer clothes witch price tags that would have made my mother faint, and that annoying oriental looking tattoo above and below his left eye. Seriously, who has gets tattoos on their eyes?
He met my eyes, and a slow smile formed on his face. The nerve. I would have dropped my sticks and rushed forward to slap that smirk off his face. An unwanted memory resurfaced in my mind.
I carried the stack of paper plates to the table that had been set up at the dining area, the food already set up. Erza has drove out to the convenience store to get the booze with an older friend. I was humming a low tune, as I set the plates on my table. Suddenly, I felt a hand tap on my shoulder. I whipped around, ready to attack the intruder.
"Whoa whoa, hold it there! It's just me!" Jellal said, his hands up in the air.
I let out a sigh. "How on earth did you get in here Fernandes?" I growled, under my breath.
He pointed his thumb backwards. "Door was unlocked," he said simply.
"You could have knocked or rang the door bell!"
"Okay, geez, got your panties in a twist already?"
I stared at him, cocking an eyebrow. A slow smirk formed on his face.
"Don't be rude," I said, turning around to set the plates.
"Okay Miss Goody Two-Shoes."
I turned around, my hands on my hips. "Oh please, at least I have more decency that your sorry self of a-"
Before I knew what was happening, I was pushed against a wall, my arms pinned above the wall. "What the fu-" I said, but I was cut off when he placed a finger on my lips. He leaned in, until i could feel his teeth grazing my ear lobe.
"You know Lucy," he whispered in my ear, as he proceeded to cup my face, "I love it when you talk like that. It's hot." My face was burning. My senses were going overload, our close proximity sending them overdrive. Before I could open my mouth to protest, he smashed his lips against mine. He kissed me roughly, his teeth nipping at my bottom lip, like a hunter out for the kill.
I knew Jellal was a player from the start, but I would have never guessed that he would use his player tendencies on me. He flirted shamelessly with girls, even when he was with Erza.
Erza.
I kicked him in the crotch, as I couldn't push him away with my hands. He gasped, falling to his knees, clutching his pants.
"How dare you kiss me? Especially when you have a girlfriend, who happens to be MY bestfriend?! Are you fucking crazy?!" I yelled, anger surging through me.
He looked up, his face contorted in pain. "You seemed to enjoy it though."
I stared at him, hate welling up in the pits of my stomach. I felt the urge to puke.
"Get out of my house," I said quietly.
He looked at me. "We're having a party in an hour's time, are you seriously-"
I raised my leg to knee him in the balls again, but before I could, he had scrambled off.
Guilt is a very horrible feeling to have, it gnaws at the already churning stomach like it's made out of wood. It threatened to overwhelm me and I felt the contents of my lunch coming up. I rushed up to the bathroom, where I knelt in front of the toilet bowl, already puking before the party started. My eyes watered, but they weren't because of the strain and the heaving- they were actual tears.
I've hated him ever since then. I encouraged Erza that he wasn't the one for her, and that he would hurt her, but she never listened. She pushed my words aside as being irrational, and maybe even jealousy. As much as I wanted to I could never tell her what had happened that day, I could never bring the words out. Sometimes I regret not have doing so. While she would have been hurt still, she would not have experienced the amount of heartbreak she would have a month later. That memory brought out the old anger that was still simmering in the depths of my head.
What was Jellal doing here anyway? Would he have been here to see the girl he dumped unceremoniously three months ago? If not what business would he have at the show?
Business.
I raced to remember the producer of the show. Fairy Tail TV. The record label?
Crime Sorciere Records.
Jellal's father owned Crime Sorciere, and Jellal already had a stake in it too. My eyes widened, as I put two and two together.
Jellal's father must have been one of the people who put together this show. He would directly involved with the production too. It would make sense for Jellal to be around too, he would take over his father's business in a few years time. But had Erza known this?
That thought struck me hard. The more I thought about it, the more believable it sounded. What if all this was some scheme by Erza, so she could be involved with Jellal again? So she could have another chance with him? Was my effort, heck Ultear's, Juvia's and Wendy's effort all for nothing?
I felt raw. My throat was choked up, but with anger.
As we were herded into the dressing room, Ultear slammed the door shut, with a little too much force. She glared directly at Erza.
"Now, I would like to know, what was he doing here?" she seethed. Based on her expression, I guessed that she too had added it up. Juvia and Wendy, the ones who weren't involved in this whole thing exchanged glances.
Erza's eyes were glassy, her corners of her mouth turned down, as If she was holding back a sob. "I...have no idea," she said, her voice barely audible.
"Don't lie to us now Erza. Now truthfully, was this whole thing a ploy?" Ultear pressed.
Erza looked up, confusion evident on her face. Ultear laughed sarcastically. "Don't play dumb Scarlet. We all know Crime Sorciere owns the show. So do you. In fact, probably from the start, am I right?"
Erza's eyes widened, as If she had realized. "Oh my god..."
I frowned. The way she was acting, it was as if she hadn't a clue before this.
"I've only just realised...do you really think I would do that to you guys? I had no idea he would be here!" she cried out.
Ultear and I glared at her. We both knew that beneath the nice facade Erza put on, she was smart, and could be cunning if she wanted to. However, the more I looked at her, the more I started to believe her.
"I had no idea...I swear...I was so shocked when I saw him...and he looked..." she said, the tears overflowing again.
Ultear's expression softened. Erza genuinely had no idea before the show, we could see it.
"Look...I know it must have been a shock...we were shocked too," she said gesturing at me. "But this is going to affect our performance on the show Erza. What if...he approaches you? Or any of us? What are you going to do?"
Erza said nothing.
I sighed, breaking the loud silence. "Erza, no matter what, we have to remember what we're here for. To pursue our dreams. We want to make it big. We want to have sell out shows. We want to have concerts where people scream the lyrics to our songs. And most importantly, we want to make music that people will remember and love us for. Don't forget that, and let one boy, who was never good for you, ruin it all," I said, firmly.
Everyone nodded at that, including Erza. I hugged her, as she burst into tears, soaking my shirt. I stroked her hair, soothing her. Everyone joined and made this really long group hug, until someone rapped on the door. We pulled away, as Erza dried her tears. An assistant walked in, holding a clipboard with microphone attached to her. "Ladies, shows over, so you guys can pack up and leave the set now."
We started packing up our things, before heading home.
What an exhausting day. But it was only the beginning of what was yet to come.

Juvia
Talk about drama, and it was only the first day on the show. I collpased on my bed, exhausted from the day's events. I grabbed the remote from my bedside table, and turned on the iPod dock. A song, one of my favourites actually, started playing.
Oshiete yo oshiete yo, sono shikumi o
Boku no naka ni, dare ga iru no
Kowareta kowareta yo, kono sekai de
Kimi ga warau, nani mo mie zu ni
I hummed the solemn tune. It was about not finding yourself in this messed up world.
Kinda like me.
My phone was buzzing with messages and notifications, probably people talking about the show which just aired. I didn't answer them though, I just wanted to fall asleep.
I gazed at the poster which hung on my wall. Electric. Lucy told me she liked them too. Everyone always liked Natsu or Sting, but I've always preferred Gray. He was shy, and reserved. But when he played, you could see the passion that he put in his music, and that was something I felt the rest of his band did not show enough. I figured that If ever a day came that I would meet Gray, we would probably get along pretty well. Probably.
I've covered a few of Electric's songs before. Once, Rogue Cheney had even liked my video of one of their songs. At the time, I felt so happy, that I had gotten some form of recognition from Electric themselves. However, with my new particpation in the top band competition in the country, I felt propelled to a whole new level.
Was I prepared for what was to come?
I know the story is supposed to be based mostly on English music, but hey, it doesn't hurt to expand to other genres and languages. But don't expect k-pop or any of that stuff though lol.
By the way if you haven't already guessed, the song Juvia was listening to was unravel by TK, the opening for Tokyo Ghoul! If you've guessed earlier, congrats you've watched some real anime. And yes I love that song, I have it on replay almost everyday.
Translation for unravel:
Tell me, tell me how that works
Is there someone inside me?
I'm broken, broken in this world
You laugh, without seeing a thing
If you've enjoyed/loved/squealed/rolled on the floor/ fangirl/fanboy this chapter, do be a lovely person and leave a review, thank you :*
