Dinner had been delicious and Dean agreed with Ruby, it had been far too long since he'd had a home cooked meal. It had been uncomfortable at first, Athena, Luke, Ruby and himself all crammed around a small round table, and he'd wondered what the hell he'd got himself into. After all, he was looking at getting into Athena's pants, not meeting the family, but after the first few awkward minutes Dean began to loosen up, Ruby made sure of that.
Ruby spoke to Dean as if she'd known him for years, as if he were and always had been Athena's best friend. She told him stories of how anxious she was when Athena began wrestling and how she still struggled to watch her in the ring, just as she had been with Athena's father.
Dean had been shocked that Athena had never mentioned her father had been a wrestler when she'd told him how she started out in the business. Ruby had begun to tell him how Athena and Luke's father had never made it to the big time only for Athena to interrupt and change the subject.
As Dean took a deep drag of his cigarette he heard the front door open and close roughly; he turned slightly from his seated position on the steps expecting Athena to appear beside him only to find Luke settling down beside him. Luke slipped a cigarette out of his pocket and lit it up as Dean watched him.
"Athena and my Grandma don't like it," he said regarding his smoking habit. He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. "But whatever."
Dean watched as smoke escaped his lips, not planning on lecturing the teenage boy for a habit he himself couldn't quit. He knew he had no business lecturing Athena's little brother anyway.
They sat in silence for a while before Luke broke the silence once again. "She really likes you, you know."
Dean turned to find Luke staring at him as he twirled his cigarette between his fingers. "Oh yeah?" He didn't know what to say.
"I seen the way she was looking at you at dinner," Luke took a deep pull of his cigarette. "I have never seen her look at anyone like that." Luke let the smoke exhale through his nose. "Not that she's brought anyone home in years," he snorted.
Dean's hair flicked across his face as he turned his head quickly. "She never brought Rollins home?" He spat that sell out's name through his teeth.
"Not once," Luke said staring ahead as he flicked his cigarette off the porch. "I'd like to smack that smug smile off that pricks face, though."
Dean laughed, he knew that feeling all too well.
Luke stood as a beat up mustang pulled up onto the curb. "Would you tell them I've headed out?" Dean nodded at the brunette young man. Luke moved halfway down the lawn before turning back to Dean. "You might be a lot bigger than me, and you might beat up guys for a living," Dean raised his brows, wondering where the hell this was going. "But if you hurt my sister I'll beat the shit out of you," Luke said seriously before a wide smile broke across his face. "Or I'll at least try," he laughed. He made a salute gesture to Dean as he turned back towards the car. "Good to meet you, man."
"Yeah, you too." Dean replied, a half smile pulling on his face. He respected and admired Luke for the warning, not that he had any intention of heeding it. After getting to know Athena more he'd be lying if he said that he hadn't grown to like Athena and he most certainly respected her now that he knew how hard she'd worked to get to where she was. Sure she was intelligent, funny and beautiful, but Dean knew the end game, he wanted to hurt Seth, and if sleeping with Athena was the sacrifice he'd have to make, then he'd have to make it.
It was a sacrifice he was most certainly looking forward to.
Dean stood and stubbed his cigarette out in the ashtray before heading back inside. Athena was puffing a pillow on the made-up sofa bed, she'd undid her top knot and her hair fell like a cascading waterfall down her back. Dean leaned against the doorway with his arms folded across his chest, silently watching Athena who had yet to notice his presence.
He watched as she bent over to pick up another pillow, her trousers hanging low revealing the top of a pink thong. "Whoo-wee," Dean said as he pushed himself off the wall as Athena spun around to face him, her hair swinging like a crimson cape. "I didn't take you for a thong type of girl."
"It's not a thong, it's a G-string," she quipped, a bright blush instantly flushing her cheeks.
She turned away quickly and began puffing the pillow as Dean appeared behind her, his big calloused hands running over the smooth skin of Athena's upper arms. Athena let out a shivery sigh at Dean's touch. "You're beautiful, you know that?" Dean grumbled into Athena's ear.
"She is, isn't she," Ruby's voice sprang into their ears.
Athena and Dean spun around quickly to find Ruby standing in the doorway smiling widely.
"I'm going up," Ruby began. "Has Luke left yet?"
"Oh yeah, he told me to tell you he'd gone," Dean remembered the message he was meant to pass on.
Ruby nodded. "He's used you staying as an excuse to stay with his friends. He said Athena can have his room and you can have the couch; God forbid he have to share a room for a night with his sister." She made her way towards Athena and placed her lips gently to her granddaughter's cheek; Ruby turned and placed her two wrinkled soft hands on Dean's cheeks before pulling him down and kissing his cheek softly. "Goodnight," she said, her hands still on his face. "Behave," she tapped his cheek playfully before turning and heading out the door. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do, Hyena."
Dean smiled as he turned to Athena who was shaking her head gently. "She's something else."
"That she is," Athena replied turning to Dean. "Anyway, goodnight," she said awkwardly stepping backwards before rushing from the room.
Dean sat down on the edge of the bed and ran a hand through his wayward hair. He was about to yank his T-shirt over his head when Athena barged back into the room and marched over to him, her eyes focused and intense.
She made her way over to Dean quickly and threw her arms around his neck, smashing her plump lips against Dean's rosebud mouth. He kissed her back intensely, his tongue slipping into her mouth as his hands gripped her hips.
Pulling away slightly, she slowed the kisses to short attentive bursts. "Goodnight," she mumbled against his lips, pressing one more quick kiss against him before turning and making her way upstairs.

Athena walked almost dreamily through the arena corridor, a wide smile pulling across her face, a spring in her step. She'd just arrived at the arena after having lunch with Dean for the third time that week; since he'd turned up at her grandmother's house the week before, they'd been out several times. Once to the movies and once bowling, as well as hanging out in a group with Roman.
Her stomach danced as she thought about all the stolen kisses Dean had claimed, how he pinned her against the wall with his solid body when he walked her to her hotel room, how he grinded himself into her.
She almost laughed at how badly she wanted him. Who would have thought that she would ever feel excited to be around Dean Ambrose? She'd hated him at one point, and she was pretty sure he hated her too. Now she couldn't wait to be around him, to kiss him, to press herself against him.
Athena could feel herself almost salivating at the thought of him shirtless and she bit her lip softly as she wondered what he'd look like without any pants on either. They'd made out and done some pretty heavy dry humping and if Dean had his way they would have slept together a hundred times already, but Athena always pulled back, though her self-control was quickly waning.
As much as she wanted to sleep with him, and she really wanted to sleep with him, part of her kept holding back. Athena was scared that Dean would drop her and move onto his next conquest the moment she gave into him, and as much as she might not want them she knew she felt more for Dean than just lust.
She rounded the corner with the intention to head over to catering to look for Naomi when a strong hand wrapped around her forearm and pulled her into one of the side doors.
"Seth, what are you doing?!" She snapped as he let go of her arm and folded his arms across his chest. He stood in front of the door, his hair pulled off his face and his brown eyes glaring down at her. "Move. Now"
"I just want to talk to you," he said his voice completely calm.
Athena scoffed. "It's been almost two months since I dumped you," she stressed the word dumped. "I didn't want to talk to you then, why would I want to talk to you now?!"
"Come on, you're still mad?" Athena's wide blue eyes almost bugged from her head. "Or has this got more to do with-"
"Move," Athena demanded.
"Ambrose?" Seth continued.
"What?" Athena said, shaking her head. "Move."
Seth braced his shoulders. "So you're not screwing him, hmm?" Athena narrowed her eyes in on him. "You don't think I haven't seen the pictures?"
"What pictures?" Athena folded her arms across her chest, knowing there was no way she was getting out of the room until Seth moved.
Seth let out an obviously fake laugh. "What pictures? How about the pictures of the two of you coming out of the movies together? Or the ones of you out eating together? Or the ones of you leaving your Grandmother's house together?!" Seth placed his hand over his heart mockingly. "I mean I didn't even get to meet dear old Grandma, how does that piece of trash get to?"
"How dare you call him trash after what you did-"
Seth interrupted her. "He is trash. He's not good enough to lick my boots, or yours." Seth stepped forward as Athena shook her head angrily, her jaw clenched. "You should be with someone with some ambition, someone that see's your potential, someone who could get you a title shot if you wanted it."
Athena struggled to unlock her jaw. "Let me guess, that person is you?"
Seth kept getting closer and closer. "Yeah."
"I'm not like you, Seth. I don't use people to get where I want to be, I don't lie or cheat, and I don't intentionally hurt people."
"You think Dean will be hurt if you blow him off?" Seth rhetorically asked. "Believe me, Dean's probably already bored with you, he's probably already scored you-"
"Excuse me?" Athena snapped.
"Dean and me, we used to score the women we'd fuck. He's not this nice guy that he's pretending to be."
"You're not the nice guy you pretended to me," Athena snarled. "Now get out of my way." Moving around Seth Athena headed for the door.
"It wouldn't surprise me if he's just using you to get to me, darling," Seth called after Athena.
Pretty please review. I'm begging here :D
