Seth looked over his shoulder as he headed down the crowded hallway of the venue that was holding that night's Monday Night Raw. He scratched his beard as his big brown eyes searched the hallway for a threat. For the threat of a lunatic.

He couldn't wait for Hell in a Cell. For when he could finally put the unstable Ambrose out of his misery. Hell, he couldn't wait for the match to be over so he could be put out of his misery. All he wanted to do was focus his energy on finding the opportune moment to cash in his Money in the Bank contract, if that idiotic brute Brock ever actually showed up, but he couldn't while Ambrose kept appearing.

Seth couldn't take the risk of his WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunity getting taken away from him because of Ambrose, and he knew Ambrose would be there to ruin it. He'd promised him that every time he turned around, every time he tried to cash in his magical briefcase, he would be there and he would stop it every time.

He'd thought he'd got rid of Ambrose once and for all when he smashed his scruffy haired head through a stack of concrete cinder blocks. Seth had thought he'd won. Seth had never wanted to take it that far, he hadn't left the Shield with the intention of using that level of violence against his former partner, but Ambrose wouldn't let it go. He just couldn't let go that Seth was better than Roman and him, he just couldn't accept that it had all been a business opportunity to him.

Ambrose was too filled with emotion, whether it be rage or happiness, sometimes flitting between the two like a deranged pendulum, and he just couldn't hold it in, and it had been biting Seth in the ass for the last couple of months.

Steph and Hunter were slowly losing patience with Seth too. They thought Seth should've finished him off months ago, that Dean was nothing but an irritating little fly that should have been swatted away easily. But they didn't understand how calculating Dean could be, how he was an expert at playing mind games; everyone thought that all Ambrose knew how to do was throw fists, they didn't realise how dirty he could play. Seth had seen it countless times in the ring and hell, the whole roster had seen it with how he'd used Athena to get to him. Dean had shown that with how he'd used her and Seth would never know if Dean had intended for Athena to ever find out. But Joey and Jamie had ensured that she did, though Seth doubted Dean cared whether or not Athena found out.

Seth told J and J security who had been walking pace behind him to wait outside as he knocked once on Stephanie McMahon's office door before entering briskly.

"Oh," Seth said as he closed the door behind him, finding Athena sitting on the small leather couch alone. "Where's Steph?"

Athena shrugged her small shoulders slowly, her lips pursed together. "No idea, I had an appointment with her then she got a call and left and hasn't come back. She didn't send you to tell me to get the hell out of her office?"

"No, I was looking for her myself," Seth said as he placed his golden dented briefcase onto the office desk; he moved around the wooden desk and fell back into the cushy leather swivel chair with a squeak. "Ahhh," Seth said, relaxing back as he folded his arms behind his head. ""What?" He asked incredulously, as Athena narrowed her eyes in on him.

"I have an appointment," Athena said, folding her arms across her chest.

"So? I can't wait here with you? I promise I'll be two seconds talking to Steph than I'll be out of your hair." He moved back and forth slowly in the chair.

Athena let out a soft sigh. "Okay," she shifted in her seat uncomfortably. "Your briefcase is looking pretty messed up," she said, attempting to break the awkward atmosphere.

"Yeah, no thanks to your boyfriend," Seth spoke quickly as Athena shot him a glare. "Sorry, ex-boyfriend. I heard the interview."

Athena ran a hand through her autumn red curls. "God, hasn't everyone? It was awful. No thanks to you."

Seth frowned. "What?"

"Somebody leaked that video to the world and it certainly wasn't me," Athena pointed out, though her voice was steady with no sign of malice or anger.

Seth pushed himself back before slowly putting his feet up on the desk, crossing his feet over, his boots on a pile of papers. "Did you ever think that maybe it was your boyfriend? Sorry, ex-boyfriend."

"Why would he leak it? As if he hadn't hurt me enough by saying those things, do you really think he'd hurt me more by embarrassing me in front of the whole world?"

Seth's eyes widened. Athena spoke with such conviction and confidence as if she truly believed Dean wouldn't want to hurt her more than he already had. He obviously hadn't worried too much about the world finding out about his conniving plan as he was shouting it down the hallways at Seth.

Seth let out an obnoxious laugh. "Please, Attie, don't be stupid. That lunatic's brain isn't capable of caring. Why would he not care about using you but care about it getting out? Think rationally Athena." He said patronisingly with a wide grin, his brown eyes watching Athena's every move.

Athena stood up quickly and pushed a curly tendril from her face, her eyes flicking to the door as if she was contemplating leaving. Seth laughed silently, knowing that he could sit and wind Athena up as much as she'd like and she'd probably stay and take it, she was probably hoping Steph had called her in for a meeting to arrange for her to get back into the ring.

"He cares because he loves me," Athena said turning with her hands on her hips.

Seth's smile fell.

"And I love him," she continued.

Seth could feel his mouth scrunching up angrily even though he wanted to remain neutral. He'd got over his break up with Athena months ago, and he was sure that he didn't have any underlying feelings for her, but it cut through him hearing her say that she loved Ambrose when he knew she'd never loved him. How could she love that twitching lunatic after how he'd treated her but how she broke up with him for trying to further his career?

"Well if you both love each other so much," Seth spoke slowly. "Why don't you get back together and get him to give me a freaking break, huh?" Seth stood slowly, his palms on the wood of the table pushing himself up. "I'm seeing someone and I'd really like to move on with my life, so why don't you and your twitchy little boyfriend go and get a trailer together and I'll move on with being the future of this company," Seth moved around the desk. "And maybe I'll have a word with Steph and get you back in the ring," he said stopping in front of Athena. "For old time's sake," he said, a grin appearing on his face. He patted her cheek lightly and she recoiled in horror as he turned to the door. "Tell Steph I was looking for her."

Athena rushed into the parking lot of the arena, her feet pattering into the ground, her breath hitched in her throat. She scanned the arena car park, searching, hoping she hadn't missed him.

Seeing a tall figure putting a bag into the trunk of a car in the distance, Athena broke into a light jog across the lot, picking up pace when she saw him reach for the car door handle.

"Dean," she called, grabbing his attention.

He looked up from his keys, his face a mixture of shock and confusion, as Athena closed the final few metres between them.

"Hey," he said, almost nervously, as if he couldn't understand why she was talking to him. He stood tall, a leather jacket slung over an old faded grey t shirt. "Are you okay?"

Athena placed her hands into her jacket pockets as she stared up at her ex-boyfriend. "Yeah, I was just wondering if I could get a ride with you?"

Dean's blue eyes widened for a second before a pleased smile showed, his dimples appearing quickly. "Sure you can," he groused.

Athena smiled softly as she took her bag off her back and moved towards the passenger door, opening it quickly before tossing her bag into the backseat. She got in and the pair quietly pulled out of the parking lot, heading towards the town an hour away that they were having the Smackdown taping in. Athena noticed that Dean didn't put the radio on, something he normally did as soon as he got into a car, though he did tap his fingers against the steering wheel rhythmically.

She knew she was doing the right thing, but that didn't stop the fluttering butterflies that swirled and swooped in her stomach. Athena could smell Dean's cologne and the slight lingering smell of a recent cigarette and she could see his curls were still damp from his shower under his hat, and it used all of her energy not to lean in and inhale his smell deeply, not to twirl his damp curls around her fingers.

"I just had a meeting with Steph, she told me about you turning up at her board meeting," Athena said breaking the silence.

"Yeah?" Dean replied swiftly, turning to look at Athena for half a second before turning back to the road.

Steph had made out that that was the reason she was now being kept out of the ring, but Athena wasn't stupid, she knew that Steph had no intention of putting her back on shows any time soon regardless of Dean's actions. "Thank you, that means a lot."

"It's the least I could do, Red." He grumbled, looking into his mirror as he applied the brakes at a red light.

"And for calling my grandmother, that meant a lot to her," she paused for a second. "And to me, it meant a lot to me too."

Turning Dean looked deeply into Athena's eyes. "Like I said, it's the least I could do."

Looking into Dean's twinkling eyes, Athena found herself thinking about how cloudy they looked when he woke groggy and confused. How you wouldn't even have to watch his mouth to know he was smiling because his eyes smiled just as much as his mouth, how his eyes could be as icy as his words. She found herself wanted to reach forward and lay a hand on him, anywhere, maybe on his cheek or his arm, she just wanted to reach forward and feel his hot skin.

A loud beep broke the pair's eye contact and Dean suddenly sped forward, realising the red light had turned green.

"I've asked to go down to NXT for a while," Athena spoke, her eyes on Dean ready to gage his reaction.

"What? Why have you done that?" He asked, a frown forming between his eyes.

"I'm not going to get any matches here and at least if I'm down there, even if they don't put me on shows I can train in the ring every day."

"I'll get you back on shows, I promise," Dean said, not looking her way.

Athena smiled. "I don't want you to fight my battles for me, Dean. I want to go down there, at least then I'll be home and closer to my family, and you can visit on your days off if you want."

Dean's frown smoothed away and a smile formed. "I can visit?"

"I don't think I've been fair," Athena swallowed. "I don't think I've really listened to you. I haven't been fair," she repeated.

"Red-," Dean grumbled.

"I haven't even asked how you are, after Seth and the cinderblocks. I never even asked where you were for a month?" Athena sucked on her lower lip, desperate to hold her emotions in.

Dean gently shook his head, his sandy hair falling in front of his eyes. "You were mad, it's fine."

"How are you, Dean?"

Dean began telling Athena about how he checked himself out of the hospital as soon as they stitched him up and he was awake, how he'd left his phone in the rush to get out of there. He told her about how he stayed with a friend from the Indies for a few weeks, while he contemplated whether he was ever going to return to the WWE. He felt he'd caused too much damage, too much hurt. Why would he return? He'd been close to burning his WWE contract and heading down to Puerto Rico, until Roman had got injured. He knew then he had to come back for Athena, to look out for her. Even if it was from afar.

"We came looking for you, Roman and I flew down to Vegas and your neighbour told us we had just missed you," Athena turned in her seat so she was facing Dean. "We were both so worried."

Dean stared ahead, his eyes firmly on the road. "That's, uh," he stammered. "That's good to hear."

"What were you expecting? Roman and I to do the conga after you get hurt," she said lightly.

Dean shrugged his shoulders. "Well after what I did, I wouldn't blame you."

"I hated you, but that didn't mean I stopped loving you," Athena said softly, her voice almost shaking. She watched Dean's every movement, every breath, gaging his reaction as her own heart hammered anxiously in her chest. Dean continued staring straight ahead, though his usual tapping of his fingers on the steering wheel had stopped, one finger held up in a mid-air.

"You didn't stop loving me," he repeated, his voice hoarse and his blue eyes stuck to the road. "You still love me?"

Athena licked her lower lip before she smiled widely. "I do."

Dean swerved the car to the side of the road, slamming on the brakes so that both Athena and Dean jerked forward. The tyres screamed and the engine wailed as they came to sudden halt.

"Dean, what the hell are you-?" Athena yelled.

Dean turned in his a seat, a mad man's grin etched across his face, his eyes alight with happiness. He leaned forward, placing both of his large calloused hands on either side of Athena's head flattening her hair against her head; Dean moved forward quickly, his lips swiftly coming down onto Athena's aching inviting red lips. They moved together in sync, as one, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. His stubble brushed her soft skin as he brushed a final small kiss to her lips, though his hands still cradled her head.

"I love you, too." He grumbled, leaning forward and placing another brief kiss to her lips. "And I will never," he placed another kiss to her now smiling lips, "ever," one more kiss he placed, "hurt you again."

She reached up brushing her manicured fingers against his stubbly cheek before moving her hands to rest over his. "I believe you," she licked her lower lip as she stared up into his ecstatic eyes. "I want to believe you," she corrected herself and immediately a crease formed between his eyes, his hands loosening from her face before eventually falling into Athena's lap, her fingers curling around his own. "But we can't just pick up right where we left off, we need to talk about some things." Dean pulled his hands from Athena and turned back to the wheel, starting the ignition before pulling out back onto the road.

"Okay, let's talk," Dean nodded, his voice failing to mask his concern.

"Please listen to me and don't freak out," Athena said softly.

"I'm not going to freak out," Dean scoffed.

"I was talking to Seth today," Athena began as Dean's jaw instantly stiffened. "And he said if I could get you to back down, to let things go, to move on so he could concentrate on cashing in his stupid briefcase, he'd get me back on shows. He'd get me back in the ring."

Athena watched as Dean grit his teeth. "That asshole thinks he can-" Dean burst out before Athena cut him off.

"You said you wouldn't freak out! You don't get to freak out," Dean grit his teeth and began to rolling his shoulders. "You owe me that much! You don't get to freak out, you just get to listen!"

"Fine," Dean spat.

"And I would never ask you to forget about Seth so I can get back on shows," Athena continued as if Dean had never began freaking out over Seth. "I'm happy with going down to NXT for a while, but I do want you to let this thing with Seth go." Dean's fingers began turning white as he clenched the steering wheel so tightly. "Not for my career, but for our relationship."

A heavy silence fell between the two, the only noise coming from the purr of the engine.

Athena waited for Dean to weigh in for over ten minutes before she broke the silence. "We can't try again if every time you've got him in a headlock I'm scared you're whispering things about me to him-"

"I wouldn't," Dean protested.

"I don't want to have to worry every time we go out to dinner, if you see him you're going to freak out and dive over the table to attack to him. I'm not asking you to be friends with him, I'm not asking you to be polite in the hallway to him, I'm asking you to nothing him." Athena explained. "It's not healthy for you to be so consumed with all this hate, it's not healthy you being obsessed with him."

Dean let out a ragged sigh. "He tried to kill me, Red," Dean turned, glancing quickly at Athena before turning back to the road. "He released that tape, he turned on me and Roman."

"Exactly, he tried to kill you. One of you are going to end up dead, and I'm afraid it's going to be you."

"I can handle Seth, you don't think I can handle him?" Dean asked, his voice hoarse.

Athena closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "I know you can handle him, but he has the whole Authority behind him," Athena's breath hitched in her throat. "We can't have gone through all of this only for them to take you away from me after it all."

Athena could feel the tears swelling in her eyes.

"I've signed a contract, even if I wanted to back down I've got to go into that Cell," Dean said, flicking his eyes from her damp ones to the road.

Athena nodded whilst swallowing back her tears. "Okay. You go into that Cell and you take care of business. You go into that cell and you come out back to me and then we move on with our lives, together. Please," she begged. "Because I love you, and they can take my career away from me and that's fine, I'll go back to NXT or go back to the Indies even, but they cannot take you away, please Dean."

Reaching over, Dean wrapped one hand around hers squeezing it gently as he nodded his head silently to her request.

"Are you ready for this?" Naomi asked as Athena settled down on one of the sound crates next to her and her husband Jimmy, readying themselves for the main event of the Hell in the Cell pay-per-view.

"I don't know," Athena sighed, fiddling with a strand of hair.

"Is Dean ready for this?" Jimmy asked, nodding to the TV that was showing the large metal structure that was the Cell being lowered down.

"I don't know," Athena shook her head nervously. "He won't talk about it, we've hung out a couple of times this week, we're taking things slow, but whenever I bring it up he keeps saying 'that if this is the last time I get my hands on Seth, I'm going to make him pay'. He doesn't seem scared, it's like he's just mad." Athena's eyes flicked to the screen as the promo for Dean and Seth's match started playing. "It doesn't seem to scare him that Seth has the whole Authority behind him and he has nobody."

"He has you," Naomi said. "That's not nothing."

"And I might not be the dude's biggest fan," Jimmy began speaking. "But he's got some big balls and he knows how to take care of himself, he'll be fine. It'll be a walk in the park for him. Remember they're in a locked cage, the Authority can't get in there."

Athena folded one leg under her and smiled softly. "Thank you."

The three of them turned to watch the screen as Dean's loud music hit the screen.

Dean came marching out from the back, a kendo stick on his back. He charged out to the ring, admiring the huge imposing structure of the cell before walking inside. Dean began searching under the ring pulling out steel chairs and tossing them into the ring wildly. He stared around the cell, his eyes wide and manic, the kendo stick still attached to his back as he headed back outside the cell. Dean stared up at the cell and screamed, "We're all going to die tonight!" before he moved forward and began climbing the cell, moving quickly up to the top.

"What's he doing?" Athena asked distressed. The few times they'd hung out that week he wouldn't really talk about that match or discuss a game plan but Athena had assumed he wouldn't be stupid enough to start the match on top of the cell.

"I have no idea," Naomi mumbled, her eyes attached to the screen.

Seth's music suddenly hit and out he walked flanked by his two idiots, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble. They all stared up at Dean who stood smashing his kendo stick against the cold steel before Seth began yelling for Dean to get down. Seth walked into the ring staring up at Dean through the chain link ceiling, turning around angrily, he headed back outside before beginning to scale the cell. He climbed a couple of metres high before changing his mind to a chorus of boos as he jumped down, demanding that his two security guards climb the cell for him.

"Get down, get down," Athena whispered as J and J security each took a side of the cell and began scaling it.

The crowd began roaring a 'you sold out'' chant at Seth.

Mercury and Noble began closing in on Dean, slowly like a pair of wild dogs, only for Dean to start swinging his kendo stick, taking both members of the security team down. Athena sat forward anxiously as she saw Seth begin to sneak up the side of the cell, slowly coming up behind Dean.

Dean turned and dropped his weapon just as Seth appeared behind him and they both began throwing punches wildly at one another. Dean connected a head-butt just as Jamie and Joey gripped his legs, taking him down. Seth picked up the kendo stick and with a sick smile began beating Dean with it as the two security members held Dean back.

"Chuck him off, throw him off," Seth demanded walking away from Dean, Joey and Jamie.

"Oh God," Athena said, sitting forward, her heart pounding in her chest. "I can't watch," she covered her eyes with her hands.

She could hear the crowd erupting into an 'Ambrose' chant as she shut her eyes tightly.

"It's okay," Naomi's voice filled her ears as she laid a gentle hand on her friend. "He's fighting them off."

Athena looked up to see Dean beating Joey and Jamie off him before chasing Seth across the cell. Seth began climbing down the steel beast and Dean joined him quickly, both men lowering themselves whilst throwing angry glances at one another. Dean caught up with Seth and began throwing punches with one hand whilst gripping the cage with his other. Seth began defending himself, throwing his own punches until Dean grabbed his two toned hair and smashed his head into the imposing structure just as Seth landed a solid punch to Dean's jaw, causing both of them to lose their balance.

Athena and Naomi both gasped as Dean and Seth lost their balance and both of them fell from the steel cell, both of them crashing through an announce table.

The crowd erupted as Athena felt vomit rise into her mouth. The officials called for help as Seth writhed in agony, his arms wrapped tightly around his stomach. As the camera panned to Dean, Athena let out a distressed wail, Dean lay with his arms sprawled outright, his eyes wide open and unseeing, and his body unmoving.

"Dean," she squeaked as she turned and began a fast run towards the guerrilla position. She had to get to him. What if the Authority had finally got their wish and they'd got rid of Dean permanently? He wasn't moving, whilst Seth squirmed in agony mere metres away from him. Surely he should be moving, showing some sign of being in pain?

Without even thinking Athena burst through the curtain, running straight down the ramp towards the cell, a small cheer breaking from the uncomfortable nervous murmur that had been filling the arena since both men had fallen.

Medics with a stretcher surrounded Dean as Athena began climbing over the broken bits of table to get to him.

"Dean!" She called, moving around a medic instantly gripping Dean's hand and squeezing it. "Are you okay? Dean?" She asked, leaning forward to touch his hair.

"Don't touch his neck," one of the medics yelled causing Athena to jump.

"His neck? You're worried about his neck?" Athena cried as the medics ushered her aside, forcing her to let go of Dean's hand. She ran a shaky hand through her hair as she watched them carefully load Dean onto a backboard and then a stretcher. They strapped him in as Athena climbed over the rubble, once again wrapping her fingers around his own.

They began wheeling the stretcher away with Athena walking beside it as Dean's eyes suddenly became wider and he began trying to sit up.

"Dean, calm down. You're fine, Dean calm down," Athena said as Dean began trying to fight his way out of the stretcher. "Dean, no!" She called as he let go of her hand and began unstrapping himself from his stretcher. "You're hurt, stop, please." He pushed forward, propelling himself off the stretcher causing him to fall to the floor though he immediately stood and went after Seth's stretcher.

Athena chased after him, calling him to no avail. She came to a sudden stop as Dean dived on top of one of Seth's medics knocking him to the ground in his quest to get to Seth. He unstrapped his former brother and pushed him roughly off the stretcher. Dean leant down and grabbed a fistful of Seth's hair, beginning to run with him, passing Athena before throwing Seth into the formidable cage.

Jamie and Joey began to close in on Dean only for Dean to turn, the sheer look in his eye forcing them to back off slowly.

"Dean, stop," Athena whispered, her voice seeming to have disappeared. She took a step closer to him away from the fans that were tapping her shoulders incisively as she watched.

Athena continued watching in shock as Dean gripped Seth by the neck and threw him into the cell, Seth rolling into the ring almost limply.

Athena rushed forward, knowing exactly what Dean was planning to do, and she stood in front of the cell door with her arms spread out, her small frame blocking the entrance.

"What are you doing?" Dean asked, his eyes boring holes into Athena.

"You're not going in there." Athena shook her head. "You're not starting this match."

Dean smirked, as if only now realising that the match had not officially started before moving forward, his large hands falling onto Athena's small hips. He lowered his knees and rested his forehead to hers. "You said I could have this match. I'm finishing this." He moved forward placing a rough careless kiss to the side of her mouth as he gently shoved her to the side. He stepped inside and slammed the door shut behind him, holding it closed as he barked "lock it, lock it," to the officials.

The officials locked it to the horror of Athena and J and J security who stood scratching their heads, watching helplessly as the bell rung and Dean made his way into the ring, picking up one of the chairs he'd thrown into the ring earlier before sitting on it backwards. "Now you'll pay for it, now you'll pay for it Seth," Dean screamed into Seth's face as the latter man struggled to get to his feet. "You stabbed me in the back you son of a bitch!" He got up quickly and folded the chair up before smashing it repeatedly over Seth's back.

Athena stood staring as J and J security ran their hands over their heads anxiously as Dean picked up a screwdriver from the side of the ring and brought it towards Seth's face. Managing to move, Seth hit Dean in the face and jumped to the outside of the ring. Recoiling back for a moment Dean quickly ran towards Seth and suicide dived out of the ring, smashing Seth into the steel cage.

Whilst Seth lay in agony on the floor, Dean angrily walked around the ring, ignoring the abuse J and J security were throwing at him; he leaned down and pulled a table out from under the squared circle. He leaned the table up against the wall of the cage as Athena stood at the opposite side, her fingers curled around the metal of the cage, her eyes locked on Dean.

Swaggering towards his enemy as sweat ran down his tanned muscular arms, Dean leaned down and gripped Seth by the hair, dragging him to his feet and over to where Athena was standing. Dean pushed Seth face into the metal of the chain link. "Apologise to her!" Dean demanded, as Athena stood back horrified, though Dean gave Seth no time to comply, he just began dragging his former friends face against the metal as Seth screamed in pain.

Out of nowhere Kane appeared, wielding a fire extinguisher which he let off over Athena's shoulder, spraying Dean's eyes with the fire retardant foam. Dean staggered backwards wiping his eyes as Athena let out a terrified squeak before moving around the cage following Dean as he tried to clear his vision.

"Dean!" Athena called in warning as Seth appeared, picking Dean up over his shoulders in the positon for a buckle bomb. He ran forward with Dean's legs over his shoulders, launching Dean through the table that Dean had previously set up.

Athena covered her mouth in horror as Seth rolled Dean into the middle of the ring, immediately hitting him with the curb stomp. Seth dropped down on top of Dean, rolling his legs up for the pin.

Dean kicked out.

He kicked out. Athena ran both her hands through her hair whilst biting her lip. Why did he kick out? Why couldn't he have just stayed down and this could have been over for all of them? Why did he have to be such a fighter?

Frustrated Seth rolled out of the ring and picked up his damaged golden briefcase before rolling back into the ring. He placed the briefcase down and gripped a handful of Dean's soaking wet hair; Seth shoved Dean's head down onto the Money in the Bank briefcase before running to the ropes readying to hit another curb stomp.

Dean stood suddenly and Athena found herself cheering for him; Dean gripped Seth and tried to hit Dirty Deed's only for Seth to counter with a kick that sent Dean bouncing into the ropes. He charged forward hitting Seth with such a powerful clothesline that it flipped Seth completely over. Picking up Seth's dirty briefcase, Dean watched as Seth staggered to his feet before he charged at him hitting his opponent in the head with his own briefcase. Dean rolled Seth up for the pin, though Seth kicked out after two.

Sitting up, Dean smiled like a maniac as a wild laugh erupted from his lungs. He hit himself once in the head as he rolled out of the ring, pulling the ring curtain up to look for his next weapon. Smiling, Dean came up with two heavy cinderblocks that thudded as he slammed them down onto the ring apron.

"Dean, no!" Athena cried, trying to grab his attention over the thunder of the crowd. "Dean. Don't do this," she called as he set the cinder blocks up, Seth's lifeless body laying limply next to the concrete. "Dean!" She called, as he began to lift his former brother by choice up.

Athena began banging on the steel metal of the cage, desperate to get Dean's attention. "Dean!" She screamed, louder than ever before finally grabbing his attention. "Don't do this," she begged as Dean placed Seth's head down on the cinder blocks. "Don't be like him. You're better than this, you're better than him!" She stared into his crazed eyes, desperate for him to see sense. "Don't be like him, Dean."

Dean stared out at Athena, at the desperation in her eyes.

"Don't do it," she mouthed to him.

With a clenched jaw, Dean made a gun signal with his fingers pointing it directly at Seth's head before making a firing motion.

Tilting her head to the side Athena watched as instead of running to the ropes to hit the curb stomp, he leaned down and picked Seth up turning him around so his head wasn't near the cinderblocks, and then he hit Dirty Deed's.

Athena breathed a sigh of relief as Dean rolled Seth up for the pin.

Athena jumped up and down ecstatically as Dean's loud rapturous music boomed through the arena. She ran around the to the cell door, past J and J security who were throwing bits of broken table around in anger, and bounced wildly as the officials unlocked the cell. Within seconds of the cell door being open, Athena was in the ring, the roar of the audience vibrating through her chest. She leaned down and helped Dean to his feet, wrapping one arm around his trim waist whilst helping to raise his arm in victory with the other.

She smiled up at him as he looked down at her, sweat dripping from his hair.

"I love you," he grumbled down to her.

"I love you, too," she beamed, tip-toeing up to smash her lips against his own, feeling no shame or embarrassment as the crowd cheered wildly, with not a whisper of a lewd chant in the air, feeling nothing but pure undiluted happiness.
