Repo! The Genetic Opera- Bridge
"Do you know where Mag went?" he points behind you and there Mag is standing on the truck with you guys
"If I'm going to get dragged half way along why not go the full way?" she smiled at you as she dropped
to the ground and took you with her in a swoop,.
Graverobber got down as well "well ladies...now where to?"
You left the two behind as you walked over the bridge, there were possibly hundreds of bodies all over it this
might just be Graverobber's heaven if they are still full with Zydrate you imagined him robbing the bodies and it
had some sort of humor to it because you could feel that doing so made him happy which made you smile.
You walked to the edge and kicked a rock down it took a long while before it reached the water but when it did
it splashed like you expected it to and that sorta excited you as the idea of jumping in the water came to mind
if only you could test the water to see if it was safe though.
You could hear Mag and Graverobber talking and probably keeping an eye on you but you shifted your focus to a bug
on the other side of the bridge, you pulled out your book and realized it was a bug that you didn't haveat home...but
would you risk going over a broken bridge to get it?
You test the metal of the bridge as if you were seriously thinking about it, you turned around and saw the two
staring right at you as you stood on the metal a small smile formed on your lips as you stared back at the bug
you really wanted the damn thing, you checked your book to see what it liked...oddly enough it was Zydrate.
Guess not only humans were addicted to the dangerous drug you pulled out a vial of zydrate from your pocket
"Where'd you get that kid?" Mag stared at you in confusion and so did Graverobber as he called out to you "took it..or some from you when you were busy with those people" he immediately checked his vest and found a few spots empty, he chuckled and
stared at you with eyes full of amusement.
"Nice job there kid..normally I would notice that" his smile widened on his face "well obviously not when your
busy with Amber" you called out hinting she was obviously some sort of weakness to him and poured some Zydrate
onto your finger.
Now the he laughed softly but stopped as the bug came fluttering to you as if rabid or hungry "kid watch out!"
you quickly captured it in a jar before it could bite you, it was a dangerous one with sharp pincers almost like
a hairy spider bug that was hungry for zydrate so you just poured some into the holes hoping that would keep it
happy and away from you.
You wiped the zydrate off on your bag and stuffed what you made to be a protector onto the bottle,
it protected you from the dangerous bugs such as this one by keeping a far distance from you and it.
"Got it" you smiled at them as they stared at each other in disbelief before Mag smiled a bit and Graverobber
laughed once more trying his hardest to hold it in as he shook his head "lets get you home kid."
"Aren't we going to get in trouble?" you stood in your place "why?" you turned around and pointed to the bridge
"the cameras" Mag swallowed as if she stupidly forgot about them and Graveroober sorta stared in disbelief until
his eyes caught the slight movement "nice look out kid...yea we might get in trouble for that..especially you
having Z" he pulled the current one out of your hand and into his pocket.
The bug struggled to get out so you simple shook it to death, you only studied them while dead anyway not as if
it mattered to you, you had a feeling it would take more than that to kill it so you kept the bottle in your
hands ready to shake it again if the bug struggled once more.
"Doesn't that thing scare you?" you shake your head at Mag's question "I got bit by one a long time ago and it
didn't hurt plus I tried keeping one as a pet and it sorta worked until my dad found it by it flying at his face"
you shrugged "I lied saying it came in through the window as he killed it and he just upped the security at home"
you shook the bug again as it tried to fight back.
"I inspect them once dead anyway so I don't really care if I kill it" you added before she asked if you needed it
alive.
"What to do now that we have been caught?" Graverobber whispered to himself as a car came from down the street
"shi-" he grabbed the two of you and dragged you onto the bridge and placed you both behind metal poles on the
bridge.
Mag dropped to the floor though and you went with her worried for her safety as two guards came out of the car
with guns "graverobber!" you whispered from behind him making him jump a little "well girls...time to run into
hiding for a bit huh?" he took you two underground as the guards shot at us.
One bullet went straight into your right shoulder but you ignored the pain as the three of you ran over bodies
through some underground tunnel that probably lead someplace on the other side of the bridge, the guards didn't
follow but instead went back.
You had no idea if they would come back for you guys or not.
