Mag sat down on the bed with a small sigh, you just finally realized what she was wearing; A skin tight shirt
that seemed uncomfortable but you were sure that the dresses she normally wore were if anything worse after having
to wear them for hours, black cargo pants that were tucked into thigh high boots and a thin jacket.
You tug at your shirt and swallow, just now realizing that you never got to change back at the store so you were
still wearing your vest, short skirt, and black boots.
"You look beautiful Mag" you whisper sitting down to fiddle with the chessboard, a small smile formed on her lips
as you picked up each chess piece and examined them "know how to play?" you shake your head no "been a long time
but I'm sure I could teach you something about it."
A small knock rang through the room "Hey kid, you there? Didn't run off already?" the door slowly opened and
from behind it was Graverobber, he smiled at your presence "not yet but maybe tonight you'll hear me revving the
bike up again" a large smile was plastered on your face of the previous night chase you had with the two.
They both smiled back at you although Mag had a bit of a stern look in her eyes that she didn't want you to run
away but Graverobber had a playful look that he wouldn't mind chasing you down through the whole city for a night.
"I got a bit of money from a trade, was wondering if you wanted to go buy a few items with me" He nodded at Mag
who ran her hand through the sheets of the bed "if she wants to" you looked at the two wondering what they have
been talking about lately, wondering why you needed her permission.
"Sure" you stood up from the chair but apparently you did so too quickly as the world spun before you, all the
air was taken out of your lungs as you gasped for air desperately, a warm liquid trickled down your shoulder and
tickled your neck.
Your ears rang and your knees buckled under you causing you to drop only to be suspended in mid air, black pants
assured you that Mag grabbed you but any words she was whispering to you sounding like buzzing.
Your hands flew to your ears to try and drown out the ringing but instead it seemed like that made it worse, a
vile taste was in your mouth and it hurt to see, it felt like your eyes were trying to force their way out of your
head.
It could have been seconds or minutes, you never bothered to memorize the time but however long it was finally
the pain and spinning and everything went away, although the taste in your mouth was more then happy to stay.
"Shi? Are you ok Shi?" Now both Graverobber, DG, and Mag were in the room and near you, DG had a glass of water
and some pills, Graverobber was rubbing your forehead with a wet cloth and Mag held onto you.
It was unsure to you when they got there...
"Yeah I'm fine...just stood up too fast" a new cloth was in the spot of the old one where you were shot "take it
easy kid" DG put the pills on your hand which you quickly threw into your mouth and downed the glass of water.
"Do you think she'll be fine...or should we?..." Graverobber didn't finish his sentence but simply stared at Mag
awkwardly "as much as it pains me, it's up to her still" Mag caressed your arm with her finger tips and that
made you want to stay in her arms the rest of your life.
It was the most comforting thing you have ever received in your entire life, the closest thing you got to a mother's
love, your father loved you...but things changed over the years and it just wasn't the same.
"I'll be fine" you announced to the three, at that DG stood up smiling and nodded before leaving the room, Grave-
robber left the room with a simple nod leaving you with Mag.
"You don't need to go if you don't want to Shilo" she smiled down at you as a slight blush crept onto your face
as she continued to caress a spot on your arm which felt amazing, you tried your best to force it back and stare
into her eyes "I'll be fine" a small smile formed on your face as she helped you up.
Once your feet touched the ground the world spun again for a few seconds but you decided to stretch it off
pretending that you were simply sore from being in that position for a bit, you dropped your bag on the chair
and the world stopped spinning slightly.
How idiotic of you...that heavy bag was on your injured shoulder this whole time...no wonder your body reacted
that way, the minute you got it the weight must have forced itself onto the wound causing all of that.
"Must have been the bag" you pointed to it "was on my shoulder, forgot about that" you walked out of the room
leaving Mag with possibly something soothing as that...but you had such things before, it was mainly from when
you didn't take your medicine for a long time...
Shiilo hasn't taken her medication in a while only for about a few hours by now but I felt that normally she would possibly take then every few hours so it finally becoming near morning time (6-8am) (In the movie she escapes with Graverobber and goes to the alley way at night time) so I felt that it was appropriate to add this in here. Also I just thought that if you have a gunshot wound surely you would witness some type of pain if something heavy is putting pressure on it, I have personally never been shot so sorry if this isn't the exact why you reacted when you got shot but you also have to remember the not taking meds will kick in as well.
and yes...this is just mainly a chapter about Mag and Shilo's small crush over her, I have checked up on Shilo's character and I do understand that in the movie she is afraid of Mag because she has seen the outside world and been a bit horrified by Rotti and GeneCo and realizes that Mag works for Rotti meaning..well that Mag could hurt her but if you have been paying attention, sure Shilo has been giving out the rare "you look nice" but at the same time she isn't just babbling off to Mag about girl things or just hugging her and what not like some sort of best friend, she is keeping sort of a distance although Mag feels differently and tries to bring the two closer and keep track of her god child.
Is that some sort of spoiler? No if you check into the characters it should be obvious that Mag would if anything risk her life if it meant protecting Shilo she even gets angry at Nathan for lying to her about Shilo dying with her mother (After Chas the Morning) she even seems to be a bit angry and hurt with him as if she felt that she could have been in her life and really wanted to be. It's just an obvious and detailed character thing that one should look into. Until then.
