Puggsy: Hey, guys. Just me opening the chapter today, but for two reasons. First reason: Wherever Girl's on vacation. Second reason… you'll find it in this chapter. Otherwise, read on!

It was Christmas around the apartment building, and all the characters were taking in the celebration. Everyone had opened presents that morning, and were lounging around until dinner. It was unusually quiet around the building- perhaps because all the villains decided to have a cease-fire for the holiday, or maybe the werewolves were relaxing, or the fact that most of the residents were on vacation.

Including WG.

"So she finally got a vacation, huh?" Puggsy asked as he sat in the living room with Fangs, Kassy, Brielle, Kite, and Kim.

"Yeah, she went with Biff to visit his family," Kim replied, giving a sad smile. "I guess, to them, she's just like Laura,"

The others nodded. Laura was Biff's late-sister, and old counter-part of WG's. Having her around, it was almost like Laura was never gone… except for the fact that Laura could never open portals or shoot lasers out of her eyes and stuff like that, but she was still as loving as Biff's sister had been.

And it showed during the holidays. "It was really nice of her to give us all these pictures she drew," Kassy said. "And framed, too!"

"Well, money was running tight for her, so it was the most she could do." Brielle replied. "I guess it might be her new tradition- make a request, and she'll draw it for ya."

"I wonder what we should get her?" Fangs wondered. "She never said what she wanted,"

"That's because she couldn't think of anything- maybe a vacation was the only thing she wanted," Kite replied. "…and a Playstation3, but she claimed she'll be saving up for it herself,"

"At the rate she gets paid?" Puggsy said with a scoff. "I guess she doesn't mind waiting ten years to play Ni No Kuni…"

"Maybe we could get her the DS game," Brielle said with a shrug.

"I thought that was only released in Japan…" Fangs inquired.

"Hey, I managed to get Pugs Kingdom Hearts 3 for Valentines day… I have my connections,"

"Just make sure you don't end up in prison," Puggsy joked.

*Crash!*

Everyone looked out the hall. "…speaking of which, it sounds like Eric is showing off his new stuntboard with the kids," Kassy said.

Kim sighed. "Lets go get them before someone gets hurt," she replied.

Everyone walked out. However, while they were going down the hall, Puggsy took a detour, heading into WG's apartment. He looked around to make sure no one was looking, then pulled out a gift for the authoress, leaving it on her bed, next to her cat, TC, who looked up at him curiously. "You didn't see anything," he whispered to the cat, handing her a can of tuna.

TC's eyes shifted left and right, suspiciously, then accepted the tuna and tucked it away, pretending nothing happened.

Puggsy then walked out, reaching into his shirt and taking out a card WG had left for him, reading:

'Pugs, I had no idea what to draw you, since you didn't want a picture… so instead, you're welcome to write our Christmas fluff-shot while I'm on vacation.

Merry Christmas!'

At first he didn't think much of it, until he noticed she left her password for him. At first he thought about taking advantage of her trust and writing something humiliating about her… though, doing something that low would break the trust she had given him- and he didn't want to be one of the many people she would rather push off a bridge than confide in. So, he decided to write one…

Problem is, writer's block set in. Heck with it, writing a fic for her isn't much of a gift, is it? He had thought. That's her thing, anyway, she's the creative one!

Everyone knew what she wanted for Christmas anyway. But she insisted she would get it herself.

Yeah. Right.

One trip to the store later, Pugs had her gift wrapped, having kept it hidden so no one could make fun of him for showing his sensitive side (what, so Fangs can get away with it, but he can't?).

Now, as he snuck out of her apartment, he began to have second thoughts. WG was hard to shop for, considering she always claimed she didn't know what she wanted and didn't want anyone blowing so much for her gift. For what he got her, he didn't know whether she'd love him or hate him.

Guess he'd find out when she got back.

Puggsy: Yeah, kind of short, but- like it was mentioned- I was having writer's block, and WG's mostly the creative one…

WG: *pops up behind him* Aw, thanks Pugs!

Puggsy: GAH! Wherever girl! I thought you were on vacation!

WG: I am. I just opened a portal back here because I forgot my phone-charger. (picks up gift) So, what did you get me? *begins to open*

Puggsy: Er, wait, before you kill me, let me tell you that I kept the receipt, so-

WG: *has finished the unwrappifying* A PS3! *turns to Pugs* YOU got ME a PLAYSTATION3?

Puggsy: Like I said, I know it's much, but- oof!

(WG hugs Pugs as tight as she can)

WG: THANK YOU! I'm going to go get my NNK game and play it for the rest of my vacation! *runs off*

Puggsy: *shakes head, breathing a sigh of relief* Merry Christmas, WG.

…Now if I could get a PS3 in real life, that would be great XD
