I awoke from my slumber to find Mirana and Henry missing and that it was night time.
I stared out the window to find fireflies of the sort flying around happily light up the sky as if trying to imitate underland's beautiful stars, I rose from my temporary bed and walked to a dresser with clothes on top of it "Dear Alice by the time you are reading this it might even be the next day, take your time healing love, but when ever you feel better feel free to ask a guard to escort you to whom ever you chose or back to your room if we are all too busy"- Love Mirana.
The queen was an absolute sweetheart for getting me clothes and a note in her hand writing, I had hoped I wasn't being a burden on her by staying too long. I picked up the shirt and it resembled a young poor boy's shirt but in a larger size, reminded me of the potato boy Jacob back at home, he would always wear a shirt that reminded me of a...potato sack but just sown together and or cut up.
I put it on anyway and found out the shirt quite suited my taste, I will thank Jacob later for his wonderful sense of style!
The pants on the other hand reminded me of the paper boy Harold that used to smile and wave at me every morning through the window as he delivered the papers.
He was a sweet but abused boy just trying to make a living from delivering newspapers to any who asked for them. The boy's mother was an alcoholic who never wanted children but hand one anyway..I always swore I'd show her one good and put the boy in a good home or adopt him myself when of the age.
The shoes were meant for more of man's outfit but of course the queen knew I'd would prefer them over heels any time, a wonderful woman she is, what completed the outfit was it being my favorite shade of blue and of course white.
Walking outside of the room I found the nearest knight "Champion?" his feet were quickly together in a more stiff position from his laid back one just a few seconds ago.
"Is anyone awake at the moment?" I tried to stare past the helmet and see if anyone was inside of the awkward armor or not "Yes Champion, your Majesty is awake finishing up some papers" his muscles loosened up a bit as he got more comforted around me "could you bring me to her dear knight?" I felt it was necessary to get used to as many knights as possible...if they were even human and not just actual chess pieces.
Oh what an odd idea but so perfectly wonderlandish...to make chess pieces life size then make them your soldiers...this place never ceases to amuse you with it's wonders.
He brought us to the previous work room I was in with the queen not long before our tea and..my passing out "Your Majesty..our Champion is awake" he slowly backed up and probably returned to his spout near the room I was in "Hello Alice" Mirana looked up from her papers and motioned to Henry who was passed out holding some sort of stuffed animal.
"Hello my Queen" she smiled at me "I keep telling you to call me Mirana...I wonder when you will start doing so" she rose from her spot and walked to me as I stood in the middle of the room, I felt like an idiot for standing there and not approaching the queen first and forcing her to get up. "I..I'm sorry" I walked to her quickly and almost bumped into her, I couldn't even control myself anymore, what has gotten into me..I always dreamed of many things like this, but not with others around and it now felt impossible to even look at her.
"Alice~" her lips rubbed up against mine carefully and softly until Henry turned over and awoke from his slumber, she quickly backed up with a slight blush and rubbed her hands against her dress as my little brother got up from the floor with some saliva rubbed on the side of his face.
"Alicce" he hissed my name as he rubbed his eyes and yawned "carry me" I snorted at his request causing him to look up at me with puppy dog eyes.
"I swear I spoiled you too much, not even I was this much of a spoiled brat when your age" I picked him up and let him lay his head on my shoulder "Chess beat me at chess Alice" he started to tell me of his adventure of the day until he slowly started to pass out again "what a wonderful adventure Henry" I carried him to my room and laid him down on my bed, he quickly turned over and cuddled with the teddy bear. Although he was 13 the boy still acted as if he were only 5.
I turned and almost ran straight into Mirana upon doing so I quickly held my breathe "My Qu..Mirana"
Great job Alice...if it wasn't for you almost saying queen it would have sounded like you said My Mirana, that's just perfect, aren't you smooth?
"I like the sound of that" she smiled mischievously at me as her eyes held a bit of humor in them "I bet you do" I whispered remembering that Henry was not even two steps away from us, so I lead my queen outside and pinned her against the door "a bit bold aren't we now Alice...what else do you plan on doing?" she stared at me in wanting.
I moved my face closer to hers until our lips almost touched and her eyes stared in question "I might just kiss you" this was indeed a bold thing to say to someone of a higher status and who could easily have you beheaded if it wasn't for her vow and possible return of affections "then do it...please" she added after a slight silence.
Our lips touched in a small kissed that took it's time becoming deeper and deeper until we had to head to her room in realization that a young boy was on the other side of the current one. We did nothing more than kiss but that was enough to send Mirana sky high as I kissed many places that shouldn't be spoken out loud.
