"HENRYYYYYYYY!" I quickly grabbed the boy by his waist and lifted him onto my shoulders, kicking my foot off the ground like a horse I raced off and around the castle grounds.
"HERE HE IS, HENRY THE GREAT, THE BRAVE, THE HERO OF UNDERLAND! NONE WILL EVER REPLACE HIM AND HIS HEROIC DEEDS, HE WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY, MAY NONE EVER BEAT HIM IN CHESS, AND MAY NONE EVER BEAT HIM WITH CHESS, HENRY THE GREEAAAAT!"
I circled around Mirana's table while carrying Henry, Henry was screaming at the top of his lungs and pretending he had a crowd of people who adored him.
Mirana simple drank tea and giggled at our actions "HOW MANY JABBERWOCKY'S WILL HE SLAY TODAY? 10? NO. 100? NEVER! 1000 OF COURSE!" I stopped at the small fountain in the middle of the courtyard.
"Alice?! Do you think I'll really be able to kill 1000 Jabberwocky's?" He peered down at me with a smile on his face "of course, I'll lure them out for you as well, we all know how much they hate me."
Grabbing him by his waist again I placed him on the ground "I can't wait! wait why would someone beat me with chess?" he stared at the poor cat who stared at me in return.
"Oh Alice you dog, I didn't realize that was what you meant until now, smart boy" he was being completely sarcastic but at the same time I felt his tone was true, he was oblivious to it.
Chess rubbed his head against Henry's cheek to assure the boy that it was all ok "I was joking Henry, nothing will ever happen to chess, in fact to prove it why don't you try playing catch with him. But he's the ball"
Henry immediately grabbed Chess's tail which made his fur stand up on all ends.
"What is this game of catch you speak of?" his eyes showed a bit of fear although Henry held on softly "it's where two people throw a ball at each other and they have to catch it, but instead I want Henry to try and catch you while you turn...your invisible thing or disappear thing."
His fur calmed down "ah so I'm the ball...how cute" he flashed a small and quite adorable smile as he disappeared from Henry's hands "I am quite the trickster as the Queen and Alice says, if you can catch me, I'll give you a present...from me...to you."
Henry ran off giggling as he tried catching the smoke Chess left behind as he disappeared, I stood up from the fountain and claimed my spot across the Queen.
"Hello my Queen" she put her cup of tea down "Mirana Alice, you know it's fine to call me that but hello and a good morning to you too dearest" I stirred sugar into my tea before taking a sip.
"I know but what would the servants and visitors think if the Champion started calling the Queen by her first name" Mirana giggled and smiled lightly, the sun stared down at us and caused her skin to glow radiantly and beautifully.
"I thought it was you who said not long ago that what they think does not matter, nor would it affect us in any way" I popped a chocolate into my mouth, finished before I talked I then replied with "I didn't know you were paying attention, I was simply rambling off before."
A knight walked toward the table with a very colorful letter that he placed in the middle before walking off.
"A letter...and quite colorful indeed, never seen a kind like this before." I drank from my tea again "maybe it's from me, you know how much I love colors, I'm a whole walking rainbow right now."
Those words were sarcastic as my outfit was the same baby blue I loved and reminded me of what a pirate would wear, there was nothing colorful about it.
She carefully opened the letter and for some reason my heart started to race, it was like getting a present that I've been waiting for for years but at the same time that idea scared me.
sorry it took me so long to finally update for those who have been waiting. I have been getting a lot of emails that many people have been favoriting and following this work and I decided to get back on it. It's not that I hate it, it's just I myself am a bit confused as to where I should now go with this work. I have decided to not create my own villian that will cause trouble but instead there will just be normal sort of trouble and issues that Mirana and Alice will have to work through along with raising Henry. It also just blows my mind that so many people seem interested in this work because...I dunno I just don't update it that much and I didn't think it would actually get far since I consider myself a horrible writer, but it's good to know that many people seem to like it. IF you would like to see another pairing done from this movie or something else, just leave a review about that and sooner or later I'll get to it, I have a bunch of stories that I'm working on that still aren't even half way finished.
