After a few seconds of reading Mirana put the letter down and continued her lunch. Curious I swiped at it so it fell to the floor "oh no...now the great heroic knight must pick it up for her Queen!"

I quickly grabbed the letter and started to read whatever came to my head aloud "Dear Mirana it is I, King Dorkabutt-" Mirana almost spat out her tea as she tried to suppress her laughter.

"I've come to confess my undying love to you, but alas I'm too much of a butt to do it in person, so I've written this letter to you to announce it privately and for your eyes to read only-"

Mirana put down her tea and stared at me with a huge smile on her face but her eyes had the softest of a scold hidden within them.

"Well it looks like you're breaking King Dorkabutt's rules Alice, not only are you reading it but aloud, such folly my love." I placed a hand on my heart and pretended to be hurt "It's only for your own good my Queen, what if this letter contained foul words? I could never let the Queen of Underland see such things!"

Continuing with my fake letter from King Dorkabutt "You see Mirana ever since we were kids I have loved you, the way your chocolate brown eyes shine in the light, the way your dark lips and nails work perfectly with every outfit none the less your whole attire to be white.

The way you look while walking, as if you are a Goddess from above although I'm not quite sure you have or believe in a god or even plural for that matter. The way you say my name...Dork-a-butt, it's just all too much for me to handle. I say will you marry me Mirana, Queen of Underland?"

If only it were possible I swear on all that can be sworn upon Mirana's smile grew wider and wider with every word, once I was finished I put the letter down "he's quite the romantic don't you think my Queen?"

My armor clanked slightly as I shuffled in my chair, the Queen said nothing but stared at me, my heart raced and I could have sworn that all the way from across our small table our hearts were beating as one.

"Do you really love my eyes that much Alice? That much to propose to me through a letter which contained none of those words spoken?" being careful of with my words I thought everything through.

"There's so much more than your eyes that I love about you Mirana, the way your skin feels like silk, how it glistens in the sun, you're like a beautifully cut diamond with the purest of hearts.

Your plump lips, I could go on forever detailing everything I love about you, the complex things and the simplistic things you do that drive me wild and madly in love. But sadly Henry is stuck in a tree."

Mirana turned to see Henry sitting on a tree branch with a small pout on his face "Alice...help meee" tears started to form in his eyes as he realized how high off the ground he was. "Don't worry Henry I'm coming!"

I dug deep into my pocket and pulled out a ring "sorry this can't be a more romantic moment love but it's now or never I guess." I placed it gently in Mirana's palm and raced to Henry's aid. I thought deeply of the letter while speaking to him, it was a marriage proposal from a man far away.

He was not quite as romantic, smooth, caring, or anything as I was when it came to words, he simply stated that he wanted a Queen and asked the Queen of Underland herself to be that lady. He pretty much asked her to be his object...and I greatly despised that man and his rainbow letter.

Continuation of this wonderful story. That's right someone is asking the Queen of...well ALL of Underland, so the world, to be his lady. Alice doesn't seem to like that very much, wonder what she just might do about that. Guess we'll find out in the next chapter!
