Chapter 2
6:00 AM. The sky was an orangish pink as Nozomi began to get ready for her first day at Otanokizaki High. Her parents had just transferred back to Japan, so she was a little nervous about going back to school with all new people. As Nozomi was walking to school, she couldn't help but smile at how familiar everything was. The smell of cherry blossoms, the neat school uniforms. Everything felt so normal, despite the fact she hadn't been back to Japan in years. On the way there, Nozomi stopped at the shrine that she used to visit as a young girl, and said a little prayer. "I hope the year is filled with lots of new experiences" she thought.
Otanokizaki High was beautiful. It was large, and all the girls there were quite cute. The school had just about everything, even alpacas. Once Nozomi got to school, she decided to check out her homeroom. Nervously, Nozomi opened the classroom door, and as soon as she set foot into the class, she was greeted by a tall blonde. "Hi there, I'm Eli." The girl said. "We obviously didn't go to junior high together, so where are you from?"
"I came from a school in America. I don't really know anyone here." replied Nozomi.
"Well, maybe we could tour the school together? I'm still trying to figure out where everything is." said Eli. The two then set off to look around the school. Nozomi was glad that she'd met Eli; she had a lot of trouble making friends because of how often she moved around. "Hey you know, I'm pretty into ballet, let's check out the theatre." Eli said. They pushed open the large theatre doors, and then Nozomi looked on stage and saw...
