Light at the End of the Tunnel 4
So I feel like I should write some more… so that's what I'm going to do….
I don't own Naruto… you would know if I did… and I don't know if I might change the rating for this story…
A Few Days Later…
After Sakura was released from the hospital, she went through her promise and went to the family registry office with Sasuke to finally change her name.
"Sasuke-kun…. How are we going to get ready for the baby?" Sasuke just smirked and pulled Sakura closer to him. He thought about it for a moment before responding.
"Well, we could always change the office into a nursery since it is really close to the bed room," He looks strait into her emerald eyes. "Are you okay with that Mrs. Uchiha?"
Sakura blushes at Sasuke calling her by her "new" name.
"Yeah I think that wouldn't be too bad of an idea, so what did you do while I was asleep? Did you do anything interesting?" they both continued to walk towards their apartment, step-by-step they inched closer to their loving home.
"I… I didn't really do anything, I didn't know what to do with myself, all I really did was go to work, and stay by your side in the hospital everyday." Sakura's eyes soften at his words and gave him a big hug.
"Don't worry I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere," she looks into his eyes and sees the fear he has held for this last 3 months.
"Sakura, I seriously though I lost you, I thought I lost you, without telling you how much I really love you." Sakura just gives him a small smile before taking his cheeks into her hands and giving him a passionate kiss. Their tongues intertwined with each other, as if they are getting reacquainted with each other. They stayed like that until the need of air was too much. When Sakura pulled away she giggled.
"I bet you missed me a lot, now lets go, I really miss the apartment I hope its not as messy as I left it." Sasuke just nodded and led them down the street to their lovely red door.
The jingling of his keys can be heard as he tries to open the door with only his right hand, using his other arm to keep Sakura close. As Sasuke opens the door it reveals their apartment, and as Sakura expected Sasuke decided to clean it up a bit during her absence. Taking a deep breath Sakura inhales all the smells that she missed during her slumber, the smell of how their apartment never seemed to loose that peppermint smell after due to Christmas party they held the year they got married, or the mixed smell of the cologne and perfume they both wear lingering along the staircase. However what she did notice was the smell of alcohol present throughout the living room area. Once she noticed that she quickly open her eyes, not even noticing that she closed them, and looked at Sasuke. She realized that those 3 months must have been very difficult for Sasuke and finally open the sake bottles they got for his birthday.
"While… I was gone…. You had a very hard time, didn't you?" she looked at him with a very worried expression. Sasuke nodded in agreement and decided to gather Sakura in his arms, bridal style.
"Enough about how I was when you were gone, you are here now and I want to spend as much time with you and our child." As soon as he said that he walked them both upstairs to their bedroom. Once there he gently placed her on the bed and quickly joined beside her. Wrapping his arms around her and tucking his head into the space between her shoulder and neck. Sakura tried to do the same, but due to Sasuke already holding her midsection, she settles for tucking her arm under his head and begins massaging his head, playing with his hair. After a few minutes of his head massage Sakura finally speaks up.
"So, now that we know we are having a baby, do you have any ideas on what we should name the him or her?" Sasuke just looks up at her and thinks for a bit.
"how about something like our names? Like Sa….. Sa-ra….Sara?" Sakura thinks about it, it sounds nice, but feels like it was missing something.
"How about Sara…da, Sarada? You know add the "da" as a connection to Itachi." Sasuke just looks as his wife, after finding out about the close connection between the two brothers that they had in the past, Sakura wanted to make him and his brother closer. Sasuke smiles after a few minutes of thinking.
"Okay, Sarada if it is a girl, but what if it is a boy?" With both of their wheels turning Sasuke though of something that could possible make his wife laugh.
"What about Suzuru? It still starts with an "s" and it ends with one of our characters, what do you think?" Sakura smiles at Sasuke because he is just as excited as she is about their little Uchiha baby.
"I think that is a perfect name, so it is decided if our baby is a girl, then her name will be Sarada Uchiha, but if it as boy then he will be named Suzuru Uchiha." The two of them smile as they both look at Sakura's stomach, awaiting the little bump that will soon surface.
Okay so that is the end of this chapter, I think I might change the rating now that I have had some time to think about it, so after I post this I'm changing the rating, hopefully you guys still read this even though its no longer a "T" ratted story, but anyways the little baby will begin to grow, you guys might have an idea of what the gender might be, but then again you might not, its my story after all, anyways let me know if you enjoy reading this and please leave a review, I would really appreciate it.
