AN: I know I haven't updated in a long time, and I know this isn't long. This is just something that I decided to start on. I'm sorry I took so long.
Pipers POV (First Person )
I really hate being a demigod at the moment. Anytime something seemed to go right, something even worse goes wrong. Which was why, when we arrived at the island, I was immediately on guard. Something didn't seem natural here. Sure it was beautiful, it was drop dead gorgeous. I don't know why, though. It just seemed like it wasn't supposed to be here. Or more so I wasn't supposed to be here.
I was really looking forward to getting to know Cazarenia. When Nico had said that he needed to see her it made me wonder exactly how good of a relationship those two had together. For some reason, I knew that Nico had wanted to see her and make sure that she was okay. Be protective over her. Though, I didn't dare ask Nico about any of this. I still found him quite creepy. He looked like death's plaything. Whenever I was around him, there was this strange feeling. I don't know how to explain it.
Cazarenia had warned us. She had said that it was unlikely to find anything. If they found anything, it would most likely be a spell that would sort of trade something. One from the spot that they were in, to the spot the other was in. And vice versa. She also told Daniel, who had been called back in, to take us on a tour of the Island, answer questions we had. Though, it sounded like there was a silent warning with that. Almost like she was trying to say 'Watch how you answer their questions.'
"I want to see if this place is the same as I remember it. I'll see you guys later." Nico said walking away. Daniel waved him off.
I had started to notice truly how different this place was. There wasn't a system of how the demigods were placed. Nothing like the Greek cabins or even Roman Cohorts.
"Why are there practically no demigods our age or older here?" Jason voiced my silent question.
"I don't really know. None of us know that. There are some things that the gods either don't tell Cazarenia, or that they don't let her tell us."
We were just about to get to where the demigods here stayed, when something happened. I don't know how to explain it. It was like something was pushing against us. Like it didn't want us anywhere near it. It was an old something. That was all that I was sure of. That and the fact that it was coming from where we had left Cazarenia and Hazel.
