Megatron walked Amber back to their shared quarters. She was exhausted from being introduced to all the new rules and guidelines of being the decepticon queen. She never thought that there was so much to be expected of her. But regardless she wasn't going to let Megatron or the other decepticons down.

Once they got to their quarters the doors opened automatically and Amber immediately crawled under the blankets on the berth and Megatron followed her lead and wrapped his arms around her tiny waist.

Amber smiled. With the addition of Megatrons' body heat and felt so warm, so safe. Megaton slowly stated to move his servos down her body but before he could reach his intended destination Amber craved his servos and moved them back to their original position.

Megatron looked at her in confusion "Is there something wrong my dear?" Amber rolled onto her back to face him. "Nothing is wrong it's just its getting late an I'm exhausted."

He nodded in agreement and kissed her helm softly before bringing themselves as close as they could possibly be. "Goodnight my queen" he said and before Amber could respond...

BOOM!

There was aloud explosion that brought both Amber and Megatron to a startle.

Megatron was quick to his feet and stopped for a moment at the doors "Amber wait here until I return for you." Before she could even respond he was gone.

Millions of thoughts were running through her processor at once. There were only to groups that were crazy brought to attack the decepticon head quarters and that were the Autobots or any decepticon that were attempting to assassinate Megatron.

But if it were Autobots then she could minimize the casualties.

Getting off the berth and running out the door down the halls she followed the sound of blaster fire. She soon spotted Starscream and Megatron but she couldn't see who they were firing at.

As she was about to run out to Megatrons side a servo quickly came over her mouth. She tried to scream but the servo muffled her cries.

She was dragged behind a corner to only see that it was Ultra Magnus. She looked at him in shock. If he was here then that most defiantly ment that her father and mother were here and they were the ones attacking the base.

"Ultra Magnus what are you doing here!?" She asked trying not to sound mad. "We're here to rescue you Amber, we were so worried about but it does my spark good to see you are ok." He said as he brought her in for a tight hug.

Amber pushed him away gently "Of course I'm ok numb nuts, Megatron has taken good care of me." She said smiling but then looking away "Why would he be taking care of you?" He asked with great confusion. "Because...because he's me spark mate.." She said not daring to look at him.

Ultra Magnus rose to his feet "You are talking nonsense Amber I do not believe you." He said as he lent out his servo to help her up. Amber simply looked at him and pushed his hand away getting to her feet on her own.

"I am not speaking nonsense I am speaking the truth why would I lie about something like that!?" Amber was enraged. Magnus tried to quiet her down but two guards came around the corner and started firing at Ultra Magnus.

Unlucky for them, they were lousy shots and were easily defeated. Amber tried to run away but Magnus grabbed her by the arm "I was hopping it wouldn't need to come to this." He then injected her with a sedative.

It started working immediately and Amber started to feel week in her legs. Magnus picked her up and called Optimus "Target acquired sir."

Optimus was quick to respond "excellent work Ultra Magnus return to our location so we can fall back to base."

Magnus ran back to Optimus and the other autobots.

Megatron had thought he was getting the upper hand, little did he know what had just occurred.

A ground bridge opened behind the autobots and Starscream yelled "They're retreating master!" And the grin that had formed on Megatrons' faceplate slowly disappeared as he saw Ultra Magnus running toward the ground bridge...with Amber in his arms...his Amber.

"No!" He screamed as he started running as fast as he could. With the last ounce of strength she had Amber reached out to him and Megatron did the same, but it was not enough.

Because before he could reach her, Magnus and Amber had ran through the ground bridge with the other autobots and they were gone.
