Amber layed in Arcees' arms, clawing and her chassis, at the pain she was feeling in her spark. Did something bad happen to Megatron and she was feeling his pain?
She had never felt something like this before, this pain she felt, she wouldn't even wish it on her worst enemy.
It wasn't long before Ratchet entered the room with his med kit. "What happened!?" He asked looking at both Arcee and Optimus. "We don't know, one minute she was standing and talking and the next she collapsed on the floor, crying in pain." She said trying to comfort her.
Arcee wished more than anything to take away the pain her precious daughter was feeling. She hated seeing her in such a state.
"Quickly put her on the berth" Ratchet beckoned to Optimus. He picked her up as gently as he could and placed her carefully on the berth. Ratchet bargain a full body scan, paying most of his attention to her spark chamber.
"Hmm there appears to be a small absest in her spark chamber. Amber I'm going to need you to open it for me so I can get a better look." Amber silently obliged to his request and opened her spark chamber to him.
Ratchet was shocked by what he saw. "It...it can't be."
It was as if on command the pain stopped. Amber opened her optics and looked at every one into the room. The looks on their faceplates made Amber uneasy.
"What what is it?" She asked.
"It's...It's another spark Amber. You are with spark." Said Arcee. She held Amber closer to her and stroked her helm.
Amber couldn't believe it. It's not possible. Ever since the war broke out there has been no carriers on Cybertron. Sparklings were never able to last more than a few weeks. And the ones that did were shipped off world with their carriers to undisclosed locations.
Amber closed her spark chamber and looked up at her father, "So what are we going to do?" She asked as she slowly unwrapped her mother's arms from around her and got to her feet.
"What everyone else has done, ship you off world. Somewhere safe." He said helping Arcee to her feet. Amber quickly turned on her feet and looked at Optimus. "Safe? There's no where safer for me and this sparkling than here on Cybertron. Neither side would dare harm me."
Optimus knew she was right but just learning that his precious daughter was the spark mate to his arch enemy and now the carrier of his offspring was just too much. He couldn't imagine letting Megatron get his dirty claws on Amber or the sparkling.
"You are right my dear." He said as he gently placed his servos on her shoulders, "But you must understand that now you are in even more danger than before. Now bounty hunters are going to be paying even more attention on you. Sending you off world is what's best for you and the sparkling."
She looked up at him with sadness in her optics. She knew he was right but she didn't want to go, but for the sake for herself and her sparkling then she had to. "Alright fine I'll go but I have to tell Megatron, he'll get so worried if I don't tell him."
Optimus nodded. "I'll arrange an escort." Amber nodded her head. "But only until I get to decepticon territory. It will only cause tension." Optimus agreed. "Shall we go now then?" Amber and Arcee nodded and head for the front exit. Ultra Magnus followed suit.
They transformed and rolled out. Arcee in the front, Optimus and Magnus to the side and Amber in the middle. Amber could feel the excitement build up in her spark at the thought of seeing Megatron.
Autobot/Decepticon border...
"Well I think I can take it from here" said Amber as she transformed. The others transformed. "Amber I insist you let me escort you to Megatron, who knows what slimy decepticon scrum are lurking out there." Amber chuckled, "Don't worry Magnus I'll be fine, I already sent out a signal to Megatron, he knows I'm coming. I'm sure there's an escort on its way for me."
On that note Amber transformed back into her alt mode and drove off further into decepticon territory, towards Kaon. The oothers stayed where they were, waiting until she returned.
Decepticon territory..
Amber was well on her way to Kaon, but something didn't feel right. Where was the escort? Where was Megatron?
Little did Amber know someone else had heard her transmission. Shots were fired from above and she quickly transformed, blasters ready.
"Who's there!?" She yelled, looking in all directions. A small glimmer caught her optic from her right. Down from one of the damaged buildings came a green and black mech. He was tall and bulky and most interesting of all gave was his right servo was a hook. Amber instantly recognized him as the bounty hunter, Hook.
"Well well well look what I stumbled upon, a little princess." He said as a crooked grin creaped across his faceplate. Amber raced her blasters. "Stay away from me you slime ball!" She wasn't going to show him any fear.
He slowly walked towards her. "Today is just my lucky day, you will sure fetch for a hefty price on the black market, and I'm sure Megatron will pay twice as much as anyone else." He said with a light chuckle.
"I won't let you ever get your slimy hands on me." She said as she began shooting. Hook was fast, really fast. Before she could get any damage on him, Hook shot a stun gun and it was a direct hit. Amber fell straight to the ground, she couldn't move any limbs, she was stuck there.
Hook walked over to her, laughing, "Well look at how fast the little princess has fallen." Amber couldn't open her mouth, all she could do was growl at him. But it did nothing. He cuffed her hands behind her back and dragged her by her feet.
To where, she didn't know. All she could think about was what he was going to do to her and her sparkling. But most of all, she was scared of what was going to happen to her family, and to Megatron.
