Amber awoke in a haze. She sat up slowly as her optics came back online. She was in a dark cell that reeked of something fowle. There wasn't any windows and it was so dark she could barely tell where the door was.
But she knew exactly where she was. She was on the ship of the criminal mastermind Hook. She didn't know why he has taken her or what his plan was for her but all she did know was she had to try and find her way back home, especially before her sparkling was born.
Her train of thought was broken by the sound of a door opening and bright light soon filled her dark cell. Amber covered her optics with her arms until they adjusted. Not to her surprise Hook was standing in the doorway.
"Well lookie here, her majesty awakens." He said using a moking tone. Amber looked at him a growled getting to her feet. "Why am I here?! What do you want with me?!" She said demanding an answer. Hook became very displeased with her tone and moved closer.
Amber tried to back away but Hook still raised his right servo and slapped her across the face. Amber quickly fell back to the floor, she rubbed her face where she was slapped and loomed back at Hook while he crouched to eye level.
"You are here because of your new statuses, you have become worth a lot of credits, also because you just so happen to be the one and only chance of this war ending and I can't just let that happen."
Amber pulled away from him in disgust. "How could you say that!? Don't you know Cybertron is dying!?" Hook merely chuckled, "I say such things because the fact is the war lines my pockets in credits from both sides and I don't really want that to end." He quickly got to his feet.
"So you might as well get comfortable because you're gonna be here for a while. Oh and about that sparkling of yours, I already found a buyer so don't plan on keeping it." He said walking out of the room, laughing his evil maniacal laugh.
Amber rolled herself into a ball in the corner of her cell. She would never let Hook take her precious sparkling, even if it ment taking her own life. She would find a way off this ship and back to her family.
In Kaon...
Megatron walked back and fourth impatiently. He was on his war ship, Nemesis. Kaon had just gone dark thus forcing him to initiate an evacuation detail. Amber was suppose to arrive that morning but she never showed.
He had sent out Soundwave and Starscream to find her and he was rather impatient for their arrival. As he continued to rather hastily walk back in fourth he heard the doors open to the flight deck.
Soundwave and Starscream came walking in, without Amber. "Well did you find any sign of her?" He asked eagerly. Soundwave shook his head and Starscream replied "I'm sorry master, but perhaps the autobots took her with them."
Megatron yelled in aggravation silencing the room. "Find the ship that she is on and bring her back to me. I want a team to work 24/7 on finding her and any clues that could lead us to her." Soundwave and Starscream scrambled to follow their master's orders.
Megatron sat in his throne and looked out over the darkened Cybertron. His beloved Cybertron gone and no sign of his queen, it was starting to feel like Primus was working against him. But no matter what he would found his precious queen, even if he had to search to the end of the universe to find her.
"Don't worry my queen I will find you." He said as his ship moved into a space bridge.
In Iacon...
Optimus and his team were scrambling to put together all the supplies they'd need to survive off world. They had not heard anything from Amber and were starting to get worried. Hopefully she was safe.
Arcee looked out over the dark horizon hopping maybe Amber had returned to them. She felt a heavy servo on her shoulder, looking up she say Optimus. "Don't worry Arcee I'm sure she's fine." He said as he gently placed a kiss on her helm and the leading the way to their ship.
Hopefully they'd run into Amber somewhere out in that vast universe.
Hook's ship...
Amber was still in her corner when Hook came in with a cube of energon.
"Drink up." He said. Amber didn't refuse and gratefully took it, taking a few sips at a time.
"Where are we going?" She asked. Hook stretched and responded, "A distant planet called Earth, I sought they'll be any Autobot or Decepticon out there so don't get your hopes up." He said with a chuckle and the then leaving her alone in her cell again.
She curled back up into a ball, the energon cube by her side, and she listened to the sound of the engines running. She found it soothing, and soon she had fallen into a recharge mode..
