"I hope you all studied hard class because this test shall determine whether or not you shall pass this class. Remember if you do not average a 98% or higher in this grade you shall be kept for the Education Achievement Reform. (E. ) As much as I support this program I think that it can be inconvenient for the student. So you may begin your test. Now." said Mr. Payne.
"OMG! That was easy. Mr. Payne could give that test to the dumbest demi… What I meant was that it was easy."
Taylor caught himself before he said too much. Connor was shocked,
"Seriously! Dude you barely studied! How?" Travis noded
"I couldn't remember if Hercules or Heracles was greek."
Taylor looked outraged, "Heracles! Hera-cles. Does Juno-cles make any sense to you?"
"Dude calm down. It was just a stupid mistake." Travis said.
"That the entire class made. You know?" Connor added.
Travis shot Connor a death glare. Just as Taylor was about to retort a group of giggling girls walked by. One of them stopped in front of the trio and signaled her fellow friends to wait up for her. The girl had tanned skin, dark brown hair, brown eyes. She was smart, athletic, and popular, very popular.
The girl said, "Um, well, Hey Travis." Travis replied,
"Hey Olivia whasup?"
"So ya know how the Woodside Creek dance is coming up next month?"
Connor signaled to Taylor to follow him away from Travis so he could have some privacy. Travis replied,
"Um yeah. Can't wait for it. Can you believe that it's in a month. I mean who can wait that long?"
Travis's voice went up an entire octave higher and he started turning red. Olivia smiled,
"Yeah, so um I was wondering if you would come to dance with me?" As soon as she said it Olivia turned pink.
"I mean it's ok if you don't want to or if you are already going with someone else. I just thought I'd ask."
Travis smiled, "No I'd love too. Yeah I'll go with you. Sure."
Olivia immediately began stop reddening.
"Thanks, ok then see you soon." After that she ran off to join her friends. Travis thought "What did I just get myself into?"
