That's right. An update half a decade after the last chapter of this little chestnut, and over eight years since I started it.
…yeeeaaah…'belated' doesn't quite do it justice, I know.
So, why hear from me again now? Well, I've just been tidying up my account hoping to get back into the fanfiction scene a bit, deleting some old stuff I never did anything with…and I couldn't help but be reminded this was the most popular story I wrote on here, and I do still get followers and comments on it from time to time…and yet I never finished it.
So whilst it has been an unfathomable amount of time since I posted a chapter (and I kind of cringe at some of my old teenage prose)...I am still a big fan of Avatar and am still writing…so I'm considering carrying on and hopefully rewarding the patience of those people who still have this on their watch list. I'm really touched this story still gets some attention, even years later, and I don't want to seem ignorant of that. Thank you, sincerely, to everyone who gave this story a watch and review.
I just wanted to put this out there first, just in case that follower base has (understandably) sailed onward to new things. But if people are still interested, then I'll gladly pick up Onji's tale once more and see this story finished :)
And keep an eye on my profile for some new stories to come (hopefully within the next few years anyway)!
