Frozen: The Story of Samantha Parkington

Summary: Sami Parker already has one adopted "daughter" and she's a handful as both a daughter and a sidekick. So, one more out of place girl in her care wouldn't hurt, right? Right?

Chapter Five: A New Evil Comes

Samantha watched as Jack and Sami uncovered the pool while the rest of them watched in amusement. It was quite the strange sight, mainly because the pool was by no means small. It was quite large actually. Mindy had asked why the cover did not just remove itself automatically. Sami had explained that it was because the mechanism was broken. Thus, why her and Jack were currently removing the cover by hand. Immediately after she had finished her explanation, Jack had slipped and fallen into the pool. The action received immediate laughter as a response.

"Forget you guys." Jack said jokingly, splashing water at his brunette friend.

Sami chuckled as she shook the water out of her hair. She offered the blond a hand, to which he took. Instead of hoisting himself up, he pulled backward, causing Sami to stumble into the pool. The brunette released a yelp as she fell into the water next to him. Once she resurfaced, she splashed at Jack. The older teens laughed hysterically as they were locked in an all out splash war.

Before they could determine a winner, Bloom came out, asking for a word with Sami. With a sigh, the brunette climbed out of the pool, but not before splashing Dublin one more time. She trudged after the fairy, having a feeling that she knew what the conversation would be about. After the door shut, Dublin climbed out of the pool to dry off.

"You think Sami's in trouble?" Samantha asked.

Mindy snorted, "Probably. Esther's a snitch who, god forbid, can't always get her own way. She's not happy unless someone else's day is ruined." the blond girl explained.

"What's a Snitch?" Samantha asked, raising a brow in confusion.

Jack chuckled as he pulled off his shirt, and then grabbing the nearest towel to dry himself off. He explained that a snitch was someone who tell on someone else for a certain purpose. Mindy explained that it was a "Tattle-Tale", but then realized that that really did not explain what a snitch was after reminding herself that the younger girl was not from this time period. Instead it just confused the other more, so Samantha just took Jack's word for it.

A couple minutes passed before Sami was back outside. Samantha immediately started apologizing, causing the older brunette to give her a puzzled look. When Samantha explained her apology, Sami nodded but said that that was not the reason she had to talk to her mother. Sami explained that the reason she had been called in was because Bloom had overheard everything and informed her daughter that Esther had received a good scolding. Though she was now in trouble for going into the pool fully clothed.

Samantha let out a sigh of relief, not wanting Sami to get in trouble for something she had done. Esther had been mean to them and what she did was stand up to the other and ask why. Was that really wrong?

Unknown Location

"But sir! I swear it was there several days ago." a soldier reported.

The light of the sun still managed to bleed in through the closed blinds. The soldier stood before a mahogany desk with a leather chair behind it. The person sitting in the chair had their back to him, listening intently to what the soldier had to say. After the being in the chair listened to what the soldier had to say, they gave a hum of disapproval.

The chair turned, revealing themselves to be a older man. He looked to be eighty-two or so, "Is that so, Marshall?" he asked.

"Yes, sir."

"Do you have any idea how much this project meant to my grandfather? We cannot afford to lose the subject."

"Understood."

"Good." the older man said, getting up and out of his seat, "And one more thing, Marshall."

A gunshot rang out through the room as a bullet penetrated the solder's skull, killing him instantly. The man lowered his weapon, blowing the smoke off the end of the muzzle,

"I do not tolerate mistakes. I will kill whoever gets in my way."

End of Chapter. Who is this mystery man? And what does he want? Will update soon.
