The shadowy figure was pleased, the plan was working. Soon very soon everything would fall into place. What luck that old Shaman had turned out to be a help after all, and here he had laughed at the taking of such an old coot. As usual his almost inept follower knew better but that was something the figure would never allow anyone to know. Now to sit back and wait, let the pieces fall into place.
****Chapter Break****
"Wake up" someone was yelling, shaking her "Liana, Get up. We have to go now" Liana felt groggy, her body heavy. It had been two days since they stopped in the cave. The storms had raged without showing sings of letting up. She lay in a bed of soft moss, the cave was chilly with a faint sound of rushing water. There had been plenty of time to explore the cave but Liana had felt out of sorts since they entered. Spending most of the time sleeping. Sometimes dreaming of her time with the mages, the faint glimpses of a life before that time were intruding. An Elf with red hair? It did not make sense, made her head hurt as she strained to find more memories of her short time in Darnasus of Elyse and Morgana and this mysterious elf.
"You do not have to yell" Liana lazily replied as she curled on her side, closing her eyes once again. Falling back into the depths of her mind.
Rajit'Kal was worried about Liana, she had spent so much time sleeping since they had to delay their journey. It reminded him too much of when he found her after his escape. She had been so fragile and slept so long. The fear of her falling back into that slumber was real.
"Torq, we have to leave here, even if we ride through this weather. " he looked over his shoulder at Liana curled up in slumber" She can not take this much more. I cant lose her now"
"Shaking her and yelling in her face is not going to help the situation Raj." Torq was trying not so look concerned, probably failing at it but still trying.
Raj paced the length of the small section of cave they had been living in. He was agitated, Torq could not blame him, the Priestess condition was worrisome. She was awake rarely and the longer they stayed the worse it became. Raj was right they would have to leave and ride through this storm. IT was an odd occurrence to have such a large storm on the plains. Near the sea you could have rain and winds for days but here in the wastelands and plains it was hardly seen.
"Ill pack up, check the weather and ready the mounts" Torq pulled the hood to his cloak over his head and walked out of the small space.
Raj leaned back down over the sleeping form of Liana. He picked up a long strand of her hair, letting the strands slowly fall through his fingers. When did she become a vital part of his life, the need for her to live happily seemed to outweigh his own happiness. If she fell back into the deep slumber would she awaken this time? They still had so many questions to be answered. She can't leave him now, not before...
Liana stirred in her sleep, her brow turning quizzical, she was dreaming again. "Felia" she whispered. This was not the first time Raj had heard her call that name. She had before during her recovery and several times since being in this cave. Something in here effected her. Could she be falling ill again, did they need to go back to his home? Staying in Org was too dangerous, going back would be suicide. His sister had helped to heal her but this was not a visible wound, no trauma had been suffered. Why was she leaving him again, into the slumber.
Or was it something more sinister, Rajit'Kal believed in magic, he saw it daily but never thought about the far reaches of such things. Could there be some long forgotten spell cast upon this place, something that he being a non magic user was not effected by? There was just so much he did not know when it came to the mystical realm. The only thing he knew was his gut and it told him to get her out of here. Danger felt imminent, felt real.
Torq re-entered the cave snapping Raj out of his thoughts. "The Mounts are ready, we can leave whenever you want."
"The rain?" Raj asked.
"Still falling, heavy, but the lighting seems to be at ease right now." Torq replied
"We may be lucky then. We may get back ahead of this weather." Raj shook his head as he turned to his sleeping elf. Her face so peaceful, her exquisite body molded by the thin dress she wore to sleep.
Torq nodded grabbing the last pack and exiting the cave. positive thinking. Maybe if they hurried they could get her to the village and someone to help. They were still a ways off but the journey could be shorter if they rode hard.
Raj knelt beside Liana, before they left he had to cover her in the heavy cloak, their pitiful attempt at a disguise. Once the task was complete Raj scooped her limp form up, cradling her like the tiniest babe. He leaned down and kissed her lips, lightly, trailing across her cheek before standing up. She sighed contently, though she made no other motions, no other sign of life. Stepping out into the rain did not stir her either, droplets beaded on her lashes and slid down her cheeks. the curtain of clouds matched his mood. Raj mounted while holding her to his chest, Grabbed his reigns and set off.

"Lady Proudmoore you broke another vial" the poor herbalist was losing patients with her dear friend. Lana had known Jaina since the mage was a child, she not much more than a child herself. Lana grew to look upon Jaina as a little sister, which later blossomed into a strong friendship.
Jaina had not been the same since Gyran woke with no memories of Liana or Selvan. She would take any extra time she had, which was very little, trying to find a way to help Gyran remember. Liana was very important to Jaina, the girl did not even know how important.
"Im sorry Lana, I just can't seem to concentrate right now"
"So sleep, you need to take care of yourself." Lana scolded.
The mage, leader of her people, signed a sad defeated sound " I do not feel I can rest."
"You do us no good in this state"
