Arriving at the sight, Dean's worst fears were confirmed as the hale pack had truly proven there tracking ability with finding the ritual site it seems some of the prep work still needs to happen as the circle is incomplete. Dean is just glad that it is early morning as with the sun up that means that they still have time to find Stiles and Lucy.
Upon closer inspection of the ritual prep this particular spell is on a time line it needs to happen on the night of the super moons climax which gives them 2 days. Dean is starting to think that the Winchester blood may just be cursed as Sammy keeps saying as this is eerily similar to the one that he was taken for, he just hopes they are not some how connected to the coven who kidnapped him and that he wasn't the ones that led the bitches to stiles he would never forgive himself if that was the case.
"Talia can any of your pack pick up a trail from here"
he asked the alpha, some of the betas started to growl at the question, wondering why this human was questioning there alpha how dare he.
A low growl filled the clearing this one seemed to carry a command, it unsettled the wolves as there alpha was showing her displeasure at there attitude, the wolves seemed to scatter trying to search the area for some sign or clue as there alphas commanded
"they are looking now, but if this coven has done any research on the area they may have covered there tracks for wolves"
she responded looking at dean who seemed to be frozen she didn't even think he was breathing if she didn't know any better she would of thought that he was a statue
"Dean what is it?".
Getting no response from the frozen man
"Dean"
she wanted to go over and hit him but she was not a alpha for nothing there are something that you don't do to a true empath if he put himself into a emotion trance, you could be sucked into the vortex that they are following or they can lock you away behind your own. If this happens your body would end up in a comatose state, where your soul is trapped in side and you may be very zombie like or your soul could be ripped out of your body entirely leaving your body and emotionless husk and your soul being dumped randomly somewhere else.
"Dean" she repeated " have you found something"
It was a good solid minute after Talia last questioned dean when all the life seemed to snap back into the empath, Dean collapsed to the forest floor gasping for breath and hurling the contents of his stomach on to the ground.
It was with gasping breaths and a raspy voice "I know where they are".
Talia looked on shocked unsure how to act at Dean's statement as the man tried to stand up struggling and collapsing back to the ground a couple of times before Talia stepped forward to help the man up.
"then lets get going" ,
she let off a howl to call her pack to her and let them in on the new info that they had the wolves that had stayed in the clearing looking for a trail had watched the whole seen quizzically as they had not found any trail that led out of the clearing or if the did they ended shortly out of the clearing and just seemed to disappear.
Once all the wolves were assemble Talia asked dean
"Dean what did you find"
" this clearing is saturated in fear I don't think they thought an empath would be sent after a few small town folk so that gives us an advantage"
Dean paused as he was still unsteady on his feet, following an emotion imprint can be draining depending on the type of emotion that is being tracked fear being one of the worst.
"I followed the emotional imprint I have a trail to follow Talia your going to have to drive, we need to move fast this ritual has to be done soon, get your pack to follow us ", Dean said looking towards the alpha.
Talia nodded issuing out the order,
"follow the impala but stay hidden as we are not sure if some of these witches are posing as beacon hills townsfolk".
before leading dean back toward the impala who was leaning on her quite heavily,
"are you sure that you will be up to this"
"yeah, I have to be..., when we get there just give me a minute or two and I'll be good to go"
"just don't burn your self out"
Dean just smirked at the alpha
" I wouldn't do that "
"yes you would to protect your family, Just remember that if you mess your self up how can you protect them" she said with a stern look on her face and a hint of alpha speech.
Dean just looked down like a kicked puppy,
"you know me to well"
giving a sheepish grin to the alpha wolf.
"you know that we can't go anywhere unless you give me your keys to your baby"
the alpha teased the Hunter, who grumbled and handed over his keys,
"if you scratch her..." he trailed off a slight grin on his face, Talia just grinned back,
"let's go get your family and my pack back"
Gunning the engine of the impala and flooring out of the forest spraying dirt around.
