Chapter 13

Revan ran down the Market Street the people moving out of his way as he went. Everyone knew better than to stand in the way of a Sith, especially one who was in such a hurry. He spotted Tallness working the crowed trying to get some business. Revan quickened his pace toward the older looking man.

Tallness saw him and gave him a wave. "Lord Ken what do I owe the honor, if you keep visiting like this I am going to start to feel special." His smile as always was friendly and welcoming.

"Tallness did two people come here a little while ago, a short woman with dark hair and a taller man? They would have looked like off worlders and were probably completely lost." Revan asked a little out of breath from his run.

Tallness thought about it for a moment. "I think so, assuming these are the same people. I never got their names. The asked me if I knew how to find a place. In exchange I got them to buy some fruit. Honestly I got the better end of the deal considering the directions I gave them."

"And where were they headed too?" Revan pressed.

"They asked directions to a cantina inn around here. I would assume they are going there."

Revan pulled out his data pad and looked at the other entry. It was a local cantina inn that tended to cater to the less desirable sort. A place that people tended to go to for a couple of hours not prolonged stays.

"Thank you Tallness. You have been a grate help." he didn't care about what or why they saw Tallness first, all that mattered was that he find Meetra and soon.

"Out of curiosity," Tallness stopped Revan before he charge off. "Are they wanted for something? Did they steal something valuable?"

"That's Sith business." Revan gave a quick nod and took off. He had wanted to say that ever since Taris.

"Eruta!" the voice boomed in Revan's ear.

Revan cried out in surprise as his com link blasted. "What is it Scourge I'm a little busy?" Revan didn't stop as he talked, though he could tell that Scourge sounded frustrated for some reason.

"Where are you? I'm back at the space port and no one remembers you ever being here."

Blast it all. Revan was stuck. He couldn't let Scourge know what he was up to. "Yeah I got sidetracked and never made it up there." it wasn't a lie.

"What" the rage was evident in Scourge's voice. "You mean you found something and didn't notify me?"

Double blast it. If Revan wasn't careful with what he said and how he said it Scourge would be his enemy forever. "No, nothing so spectacular." Revan sighed trying to sound ashamed. "I thought I saw that red Twi'lek again at the Docs so I chased him to the markets."

"And you didn't tell me."

"There wasn't time and it didn't matter it wasn't actually a Red Twi'lek." it was time to lay it on thick. "It was just a Yellow Twi'lek that looked red in the light."

Scourge did not try to hide his chuckle. Revan could feel all the rage the man had just melt away. "Alright. I guess in that case I won't hold that against you. Where are you now?"

"In the market place." Revan paused. "I'm heading back to the docks now."

"Alright well then I will start checking Landing Passes like you were supposed to be doing."

Revan's eyes' widened. The Ebon Hawk was under a false landing pass. Think fast Revan. "Sounds good. Though don't worry about ships that are currently docked at the port and only focus on the ones that left sometime last night and this morning. That should narrow it down a bit."

"Good idea. There are far too many for us to look through every single one."

"Be there as soon as I can." Revan cut the com and took a deep sigh of relief.

That was far to close. He needed to be more careful. Once he could get away from Scourge he would go to the Cantina and see if he could find them latter. He just hoped they didn't go anyplace or do anything until he could get there.
