So, I am not doing comments this chapter, I am sorry. Lately I have not been feeling my best and in all honesty, I have felt like crap. I just had surgery and it hurts so much… I hope you at least enjoy this.
OoooO
What is love?
Is it only an emotion?
Only a chemical release in the mind?
Or is it something much more?
It was a sick feeling, a churning feeling that twisted inside, bubbling with red, violent colors. Sticking to the throat, words sharp, ready to be pushed out and create wounds that could damage more than ever. There was pain still pricking at many things, emotions, killing off any happiness that once flew like butterflies within the pit of the stomach.
-Jealousy.
-Anger.
-Fear…
Shaking hands, a freezing feeling that suddenly crept into the body, hiding away and simply just waiting. Eyes, lacking any feelings, like a broken toy yet like a mildly working clock~ there it would stay, that loneliness just waiting to bite.
He came in. He opened a door for her, to a world of which she never knew. It was amazing. Simply breathtaking that he found a way inside her walls and wedged himself in a space within her life. He physically engraved himself in her mind.
Then guilt. He had become a beacon of light to her after a horrible time that consumed her. Yet, she felt a kindle of light within her heart, a spark. And she couldn't find the words to tell her best friend- she couldn't tell him that she was hurt and possibly dying.
It was a drawback of her sight. To where she became blind.
"Juvia," a hand gently touched her shoulder, snapping her from it all.
"Hmmm?" Her head flicked up to look at whomever touched her. But her eyes grew cold and her body stiff, "What does Love Rival want?" The words were bitter as they were spewed out.
The blonde cringed slightly before readjusting her smile, "Juvia, stop calling me Love Rival, I was just trying to give you the math handout. You left it on the lunch tables, it has your name on it." She then slid the paper on the bluenette's desk.
Juvia stared hard before placing her hand on the packet, "Thanks," it was half-assed, no other words could describe it. Her eyes were still very cold and she parted her lips, "Doesn't Love Rival have another class?"
A sad smile soon fell upon her lips and the blonde stepped away, "Yeah, I better get going, huh?" The blonde gave a curt wave before turning around and walked out the door.
Juvia chewed the inside of her cheek as her eyes looked down at the packet, her name was definitely on the handout. She knew exactly how she responded towards Lucy, because she knew that the blonde meant no harm, but she just hated how far the blonde got with the two most important boys in her life. For such anger and pain that sailed within her, she let venom out and let her temper bite.
Hands deeply finding pieces of her hair, a major sigh fled her lips with no effort or any hesitation. Why is Juvia so jealous and cruel? An ugly feeling that somehow would take complete control of her actions. It sickened her, yet it also somehow-
"Juvia!"
The bluenette looked up with pink tinted cheeks as her teacher stared at her, "What is your opinion on the topic?"
"Ummm… Juvia thinks that…" Man, she needs a break from it all.

Lucy's eyes were cast down, glued to the words that laid upon the pages of the book she was reading. Reality fading, but some still lingered as the cool breezes of autumn touched her neck, a leaf floated down only to land on her soft blonde locks. She sat still, her breathing even and the sun still high to supply her with the light necessary for her to read.
And it was cruel for Ryan to hiss at her, staring hard at her with the coldest look he could ever hold. His hands soon held her hands and he clicked his tongue, "This is over, we are finished."
"But, Ryan," she whispered her eyes filling with water, "You, we can work this out."
"No, I want nothing to do with a woman who holds nothing more but, a mad lust for power. I will not help you gain enough to gain some vain revenge." He hissed out bitterly. Throwing down her hands, he harshly mattered, "You made a decision and your revenge was more important than us."
"Ryan, it isn't more important than you and us." She pleaded.
"Skylar!" His eyes were shut for he was withdrawing himself from any tears. "I cannot do this anymore! You left me to rot in a prison in order to gain a fire crystal, what kind of love is that?!"
"I was going back for you!" The girl screamed back with wide eyes, "I was going back-"
"NO!" His arm came down and his tears finally fell freely, "If you were so obsessed with your revenge, then u… you…"
Her fingers outstretched and softly touched his face, "Ryan, I am so sorry for everything I have done."
The male's eyes rose to meet hers, his usually soft ocean orbs were now emotionless. He smacked her hand away, "And I am sorry. I can't keep killing myself by being with you." Then with a sharp turn, he walked away.
Skylar stood frozen, before she screamed, "RYAN!"
"Wow, what a sad break up…" a voice spoke from behind her. Her head turned upward only to bump her forehead against the other.
"Oww…" She whined softly, rubbing her forehead. Cracking her eyes open, she caught a glimpse of ivory hair. "Lyon…" she whined once more, "Why were you so close?" A pout sprouted onto her rose pink lips.
"Well, I did not anticipate you to turn so quickly." Lyon responded with a chuckle. He glanced over at her and gave a light smile. "How are you today?"
The blonde shrugged before placing a bookmark on her page and then placed the book into her bag. "I am good, how about you?" She subconsciously touched her legs, rubbing her jeans softly.
Lyon smirked, "Never been better, thanks to such inspiration from you and your love for autumn!" His hand then patted her head softly, his dark onyx eyes shining with more joy than Lucy had seen for a while.
"I'm glad my words gave you inspiration," Lucy smiled, but it was one of those smiles. Where her eyes shut and her lips spread, oozing with warmth and a loving care. Such a smile was able to grip at the strings of his heart and twist violently with a tremor and shake, enough to make his blood pumping organ skip several beats.
With a gulp and a wipe of his hand, he tried to return the favor of her grace, "Now, that novel you are reading is quite interesting, hmmm?"
Lucy's brown doe eyes softly exchanged to her bag and she hissed with a rattle of sorrow, "Sad and painful, actually." she corrected him. A lift of her finger, she poked his chest, "It is called, A Reason From Nothing." She lifted her head with an all too knowing smirk, "I'll let you read it once I am finished with it."
The snow hair male simply let his lips twitch, "Hmm, such a deal you are proposing to me…" His hand found his chin and he softly pondered a moment before sitting beside her and speaking, "You got me! I cannot refuse such a deal!" His eyes flickered with amusement before he looked down, heart racing a bit too much for his taste. It was a bitter taste of guilt flooding him all too suddenly.
Lucy giggled lightly, "You seem very happy today, like very ecstatic." She rubbed his back awaiting his response, trying to distract her mind from several things.
Lyon glanced up and nodded, "I suppose I am." A grin now spreading at fast pace. "You were very excited yesterday as well, after checking your phone, what happened there?" He poked her cheek and still held a soft grin. But he suddenly felt the mood shift and stared at how her face changed. What a heart crushing look that appeared on her face, hands trembling all too quickly, and her eyes growing so dull and cracking at the surface of her orbs. Yet, it quickly changed to shut eyes and an almost convincing smile.
"Oh, nothing really," she sighed softly, an ache was left in her voice.
He softly gripped her hand, "Lucy, what is wrong? I know that something is wrong, don't lie to me." His eyes staring hard into hers, just wanting to help her like she had helped him in the beginning.
The blonde girl still held a smile and simply opened her eyes, "I'm fine, Lyon." She forced it even more, enough to start reaching her eyes."Honestly, I'm-"
"Lying," he hissed, his eyes shadowing disappointment. "You don't have to tell what's wrong or what happened, but at least don't lie about whatever pain you are or may be in."
Lucy simply nodded and her hands clenched tightly to whatever they held. One grasping to the fabric of her denim jeans and the other holding tightly to Lyon's hand. "Using my own words, huh?" She let out a dry laugh before she felt hot tears prick at her cheeks, "I am sorry." It was hollow and empty as she let out a sob, Lyon didn't judge. The weight of whatever it was must have been too much for her to carry so long. "I just… I don't even know…"
It was words. Plenty of words piling up and wrecking her head, with her past, her friends, herself.
"Worthless."
"A shame to our family name."
"She acts like a slut sometimes, dresses like one too."
"Bitch."
"Ugly."
"Stupid. Dumb. Idiot."
"Shut up. Leave me alone."
Lyon softly leaned her head against his shoulder and cooed to her, "Let it out, just let it out." She did. She cried until her throat ached and until she could finally compose herself enough to speak, no more blabbering and ununderstandable words to echo in his ears. She unfolded her body from a ball, and looked up at Lyon. Her mouth opened, but Lyon spoke first, "It's fine, I don't mind the tears. I've cried in front of you and you cried in front of me. Tic for Tac, you know."
There was a smile on his lips, and it was honest. It made her feel safe, almost like the way Gray's arms felt around her. "I… there is a lot of things wrong with me." she stated. "A lot of things," her eyebrows pinched as she looked up at him, teeth chewing down on her bottom lip.
Lyon gave her a look, his eyes rolled as he found his thumb rubbing softly on her hand, "I believe that there is something wrong with all of us."
Lucy nodded at his words, "I know there is." That's when she kissed his cheek and her grip on his hand tightened a little, "I happen to have much more wrong with me than most people, so I rather not be a burden."
His eyes looked hard at her form, sighing at it all (by all he was referring to everything that has happened from the moment he left his train to now). "All teenagers do, trust me my mind is less than completely being sane."
"Same," she agreed.
Then silence followed.
The breeze made noise through the trees and their hands were clamped together still. It was comfortable, just looking up at the falling leaves, letting the clouds move as they do in the sky. Lucy would speak more if she could, but she didn't, there was too much to say and dragging someone else into it would be more than selfish of her. Lyon wanted to ask her, he wanted to hear the answers to his questions, but he wouldn't pry. So they sat in silence on the stone bench in the garden.

Gray walked with Juvia to the garden. He planned on seeing Lucy there, he planned on taking her to eat before she went home. He looked over at the bubbly bluenette as she practically skipped beside him with a sweet looking smile. She seemed to notice his eyes and she turned in front of him.
"Gray-sama! Juvia missed you yesterday!" She pouted as her hands settled on her hips.
Gray chuckled, "Sorry, I got caught up with something else, but you spent time with Lyon, right?" He gave her a smirk.
Juvia had smiled wide and nodded, "Juvia was happy to see Lyon again and spend time with him. Lyon is Juvia's best friend!" Her eyes lit up in joy and her arms clutched to his arm, "But Juvia loves spending time with Gray-sama too!"
His free hand ran through his raven locks and gave a light response, "I enjoy spending time with you too." This only made her squeal with joy.
The two finally found themselves there to where a stone bench lay. Two people sitting there with their hands put together in a tight, safe grip simply watching the sky. It was a simple thing, simple enough, but to those navy blue eyes and to those aqua blue eyes the sight was all too striking for either one. It was a tremor that shook violently at them.
Juvia could feel her common sense slipping.
Lucy could feel her fears clawing at her mind.
Gray could feel his anger rolling within his gut.
Lyon could feel his hopes firing up in his soul.
Such a world has slipped and with such force it has cracked. A friendship only needs a push to become something more, a little nudge to cause it to roll down and slip enough into a blossoming romance. Yet, at the same time all it needs is a tiny shove to be knocked out of a tight hold and tossed aside into a broken hate. Such things are trivial and so renounced from what once was.
Now all there is necessary is that shove or that push…
Either way it favors…
OoooO
I feel like this chapter is ugly and I feel like I have disappointed you guys. Any ways, the review responses are back next chapter.
