casey10rok: So true, he is a confused little baby.
leoslady4ever: Sorry about that, but I promise there will be LyLu moments. Plenty to come actually. ;)
Raiza-chan: I have not, and even if she did, it is a secret. Any who, let's find out, hmm?
jdcocoagirl: It mostly is to be honest. Lyon is kind of our main character in this story which is why he is focused on a lot.
SkydragonFairyTailFan: Very. Thanks, but now I am extremely sick while writing this chapter. Such irony!
seulesaffie: I am trying really hard to not make her so annoying, but at the same time, a bit not good. LyLu moments on the way.
King-or-Whatever: Thank you for waiting patiently. It means quite a bit.
BlackBlood (Guest): I honestly loved your review! It made me giggle! :)
FairyTail555: Thank you! Sadly, got super sick writing this too!
rain of light: Really? I have never seen or read that series, sorry. :/ Welp, I have done this, check it out?
im ur misconception: Thank you so much! I try my hardest to keep them accurate and realistic.
Deadpool-girl: So many big plans for this in all honesty, I hope you'll like them.
Guest: I really hope it is to your liking! c:
Guest 2: I have updated now! Other stories will be later! Sorry!
YamakenKurisu: Thanks, glad you did! I am and it's gonna be tough cookies!
Rosette: Hmmmm….? Secret!
Guest 3: Welp, yeah… he is not too discreet.
KitAlbert07: Lol, that made me smile and laugh! Let's both cheer Lucy on! WOO!

"Revere a million prayers
And draw me into your holiness
But there's nothing there
Light only shines from those who share"
She sang softly with a tiny swing of her hips, her hand gently on her left head phone. Her other hand reached into her locker to find her physics book, bitterly cursing herself if she left it somewhere else. Luckily, her eyes found it poking out from behind her white binder.
"Your lips feel warm to the touch
You can bring me back to life
On the outside you're ablaze and alive
But you're dead inside"
Slamming her locker shut, she started to walk herself to her next class. She made her way in, found her seat and placed herself in her seat with a smooth hum. Her back suddenly got hit and she turned to see a familiar smile.
"Hey, Lu-chan!" the shorter bluenette smiled cheerfully.
The blonde removed her headphones, "Levy-chan, how was your break?" She offered a smile while pausing her music and sliding her phone in her bag.
"Oh, it was amazing! My family went to a family gathering for the break and we saw a whole bunch of fireworks on New Year's! Oh!" The shorter female grinned, her hands rummaged through her backpack, "I got the collector's edition of Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones!" She held a copy of the first book in the Game of Thrones series, "It is so good, Lu-chan!"
Lucy giggled, "I hear it is. I spent my break with Gray and Lyon's family, the usual."
"Have you got together yet?" the bluenette mumbled softly.
"No," Lucy snapped, "Who are you even referring to?" She cocked her eyebrow up in curiosity.
Levy shrugged, "Either or at this point, Lu-chan." She felt the blonde's glare, "I don't mean it like that, it's just, you are close to both of them and well… it wouldn't be surprising if you ended up with either of them. Mira has bets on who'll you'll be with."
"WHAT!?" the blonde screamed suddenly, she stood up completely facing her blue haired friend. Lucy was completely unaware that class was already three minutes in and Levy had been whispering.
"Is there a problem Ms. Heartfilia?" their teacher grumbled loudly, eyes narrowed sharply.
The blonde looked over toward the front and she shrank back into her seat, "No, I'm sorry."
"Well, please refrain yourself from screaming again," then continued the lesson after the giggles subdued.
Lucy glared at Levy once again, "She is actually holding bets?" The whisper was harsh and full of venom.
"Yeah," the bluenette mumbled softly. "Sorry."
Soft hands went through her hair, air escaped her lungs in a heavy heave and she sighed. "It's okay, not like you made a bet."
Levy stiffened for a second before nodding, "Yeah, it's stupid." Then glanced at the board to jot down notes rather quickly.
Lucy took note of it and rolled her eyes. Of course she made a bet. Why would I even think she hadn't? She tore a paper from her notebook and started to scribble words on to the piece with the first pen she grabbed a hold of. Rather than taking any notes, she just wrote words.
By the time the bell rang, she hadn't even bothered with what the class was about. Quite frankly, she didn't give two shits at the moment, in fact, she wasn't even sure if she wanted to go to her next period. Finding the upstairs bathroom on the west hall, she scrambled into a stall and waited for the late bell to ring. Once there was utter silence heard, and the hallways were quite as the last period of the day began. She just waited for the last few girls to scramble out, and just as they did an announcement went off.
"Sorry for the interruption, but ASB just wants to remind you that tonight is the big game for-"
Lucy covered her ears and let out a loud and much needed scream.

Lyon was surprised to find himself at their meeting spot first. He sat patiently there letting out a soft sigh. He remembered quite well how his friend questioned his feelings for the blue haired beauty. He laid back and closed his eyes.
Christmas 8:29pm
"I-I have no idea what you are saying," Lyon's face flushed and eyes averted from the blonde.
"Lyon, seriously, are you?" Lucy muttered with a slight smirk.
Lyon's eyes darted all different directions, "Lucy, please remove your hands from me."
"Not until you give me an honest answer."
He dared to look at her and he saw how serious she looked. She wasn't going to move, she wasn't going to budge until she got her answer. He gulped. He couldn't quite lie properly in the position he was in, but he could try.
"Lucy," his hand found her arm, "I am not in love with her." He tried to push her arm away, "I am her best-"
"Bullshit." Lucy bitterly snapped.
Lyon's eyes went wide, "What?"
"Did I stutter?" she raised her eyebrow before stepping back, removing her hands. "You are such an idiot, and you actually tried to lie to me." She pouted, her eyes flashed with a hurt.
"Lucy, I am sorry, I just…" he breathed out, "I didn't want anyone else knowing, I mean, Ultear is the only other person who knows besides myself and now, you…"
The blonde rolled her eyes, "I do understand. I'm not going to tell anyone, I just noticed how much you looked like you cared." She sighed, "Maybe I should have asked differently and waited…" She then punched his arm softly, "Sorry, I promise to keep hush hush about it."
Lyon nodded, "Thank you."
Lucy started to walk away, "Gray doesn't know?"
"No," Lyon shook his head.
"Why not?"
"I rather he not," was a simply and sad response.
Lucy looked up and sighed, "Okay then." Her hand grabbed his and she ran into the room, "GRAY! LYON SAYS HE IS BETTER AT MARIO PARTY 8 THAN YOU ARE!"
The raven looked over at his twin, "Really now?" He quickly whipped out two DSIs, "Game on!"
Lyon smiled fondly at how Lucy never mentioned it again to him. She did keep quiet and didn't talk about his feelings unless he mentioned it first. He heard footsteps and rather hurriedly sat himself up, straining his abdominal muscles in the process. "Lucy, I hope you don't mind me asking you a question about the feelings you discovered," he muttered out with a sharp breath.
He turned to face the blonde, but eyes went wide once he saw that it was not the blonde girl, but in fact Mira. He gulped and opened his mouth to try and fix what would soon be assumed. But the snow haired female squealed, "I knew it!"
She rushed off and Lyon bitterly slammed his fist on the stone bench. Fuck! He pushed himself off and gathered his things, feet accelerated in order to catch up to the snow haired female. He saw her giggling with another blue haired girl, shorter, Levy? It didn't matter, he had to change her mind. Without any hesitation, his hand landed upon her shoulder and roughly turned her, "Mira, listen!"
"Lyon!" she exclaimed with a smirk, a mischievous glint in her sapphire eyes. "What is it?" she hummed innocently.
Lyon bit his bottom lip, eyes flashed to the confused look of the shorter girl and he tugged Mira away. "Don't misunderstand what you heard."
Mira pouted, "What did I hear?"
"Lucy and I are not together, I don't see her in that light," he whispered harshly.
She rolled her eyes and looked away.
"I like someone else," he sighed in defeat.
"Who?" eager and keen, Mira was. Her eyebrow raised.
Lyon shook his head, "I am not going to say because it will spread like wildfire with those lips of yours." He then released her shoulder, "Please, don't start any rumors."
She nodded with his beg and sighed, "Pity, I really think you and Lucy would look cute together you know." She then poked his nose and walked back to where the bluenette waited with a questioning look.
Lyon simply let out a breath of relief. He ended up sitting down on the ground in the part of school that he vaguely remembered. His onyx eyes looking up at the sky for no reason. The buzzing in his pocket led him to his phone, not caring about who it was, just sliding it to say, "Hello?"
"Lyon…" the whimper weak.
His body went rigid, "Ultear?"
There was a sharp inhale and slight cry, "Lyon…"
"What's wrong?!" Lyon stood quickly, "Where are you?!" He started heading for the nearest school exit, "Ultear?!"
"Ho-home…." She sobbed out suddenly, "Lyon…"
"I'm going there now! I'll be there in like ten, maybe five if I run," Lyon muttered out, his legs started moving. His sister never cried. She never cried. This was beyond serious, "What happened?"
Her breathing heavy and rough, it was scaring him. "… okay…"
No worries there. He was sprinting now, just full on pumping his arms and legs with no thoughts, no restraints or hesitations. He then managed in a ragged breath, "I am almost there!"
"…mmmhmmm…" then the line went dead. Well, if that did not frighten him even more so than he currently was right now, then he would be a horrible sibling. He knew that he and Ultear had a sort of connection that was more geared towards raw, impulsive emotion compared to Ultear's relationship with Gray.
But he crossed the street and turned the corner sharply. Three more blocks and he would hit home in no time. He had many thoughts buzzing through his mind. Mira. Lucy. Juvia. His feelings. His sister's reason for tears. Gray and him working for better communication. School. Everything.
His breath was heavy and ragged and his fingers hurriedly went for his keys as he made full on strides toward his house. His sister was in desperate need of attention and love. His thoughts could be and would be discarded for now.

January 1st 12:00am
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Lucy cheered gleefully while pulling a popper to let the colors fly. She smiled brightly before pulling Gray into a hug and kissing his brother's cheek. The Fullbuster twin turned a light shade of red as the blonde pulled from his cheek, her lipstick staining it.
"Really need to kiss me?" Gray half-heartedly scolded as he started to pull his shirt off.
"GRAY!" their mother snapped.
Lucy shoved him gently, "Of course! It is good luck!" She then turned to direct her attention towards him, "Lyon's turn!" Then gripped her arms around his neck and placed a soft kiss on his cheek
"Lucy!" he yelped at her touch, the press of her lips on his skin shocked him fully. She pulled away with a smirk before leaning into his ear and whispering.
"Wish it was Juvia, huh?"
His face turned 50 shades of red as he averted his gaze from the blonde, her laughter filled the air. Then the smell of apple cider caught his attention. Gray downed his glass while Lucy sloshed hers around a little bit before taking a sip. Lyon took a glass and cautiously took a sip before Gray tipped his glass purposely while chuckling deeply at Lyon's sudden sputter.
"You douche!"
"LYON!" their mother scolded.
"Let them be," their father cooed to his wife.
Gray just smirked while pouring himself another glass, "Problem, Lyon?"
Lyon glanced down at his wet shirt, "Yes." The grumble audible and it only made Gray sneer.
"Let me wipe that for ya!" then started to pat his shirt with a napkin, "There you go, pumpkin!"
Lyon slapped Gray's hand away, "Shut up!"
"Now, be nice," Lucy gripped both of their arms and glared at them with her glare. It sent shivers down his spine. "Or else I'll have to do something about it."
"See, Lucy has got it!" their father shouted with glee.
"Mmhmm," Lucy smiled at their dad, "I have them under control, Mr. Fullbuster." Then went back to Lyon and Gray with her look returning.
Lucy sighed deeply as she closed her locker, her eyes closed for a moment. She missed the holidays, they were better, they were fun, they weren't painful. Her body started to move towards her meeting spot with Lyon, they decided to go out for something during lunch.
She started out of the building towards the garden when she heard a voice call for her. She spared a glance to see Cana. She halted and gave the brunette a genuine smile, "What's up?" Her hip cocked to the side.
The brunette smirked before taking a quick sip of her water bottle, "Nothing much, anyways, heard you got yourself a new boy toy!" Then offered her bottle to the blonde, "Want some?"
Lucy glanced at the bottle, fully aware of it not being water and shook her head, "I'm good." Then looked up at the female, "New 'boy toy'?"
"Well, I mean an actually boyfriend," the brunette grinned as she took a swing of her drink.
"Let me guess, Lyon?" Lucy grumbled out, her eyebrows furrowing together and her arms crossed.
Cana smiled lazily, clearly had too many sips, "Yup! That's the one that Mira's been blabbing 'bout!" She then nudged Lucy's arm, "So, is it true?"
Lucy rolled her eyes before snatching Cana's bottle, "No." Her tone biting and cold before she unscrewed the cap and took a healthy swing of the liquid. The sensation coursed through her as the vodka went down and she handed it back to the brunette. "Tell Mira to stop spreading rumors, please?"
Cana eyed the blonde cautiously, "Sure." Then bit her bottom lip, "You okay, girl?" Taking her bottle cap back and screwing it back on, she gingerly stared at Lucy with care.
"Peachy," Lucy replied with narrowed eyes and a fierce tone. The female then turned sharply away and walked quickly down the steps into the garden area. Her eyes burning with hot liquid and her mouth still tasting the lingers of the drink she consumed. Her fingers stretched out, but turned back into tight fists as she marched further into the tree cover territory, grass wet, and leaves still somewhat on the concrete.
"Lyon!" she called out, her hands wiping away any remains of salt on her face. "Lyon!" her steps turned the corner to their bench, "Lyon, let's get you and Juvia together soon, because Mira is spreading shit and I know she means well, but it gets infuriating sometimes!" She huffed out, voice betraying her by wavering a bit.
Her head lifted to see no one on the bench, no one there at all. She bit her lip as she sat herself down and then pulled her phone out for any messages. No new messages. Her fingers worked quickly to shoot a message out to Lyon to see where he was or if he was busy. She licked her lips quickly as she sighed deeply and leaned back a bit, arms catching her while her phone rested on her lap.
After a few minutes, her phone buzzed and she quickly reacted by gripping it and glancing at the message.
Where are you, Princess?
It was from Loke and not Lyon.
She responded. At school, why?
The response time was quick: You have an important dinner tonight, remember?
So…
Your father is expecting your presence, Princess.
"Like I expected him…" she whispered, a single drop spilled from her nose onto her hand. She shook her head before typing her response. Fine. I'll be home in a bit.
She stood as she sent a quick message to Lyon. Hand buzzed: Car is on its way.
Lucy rolled her eyes. Figures, I'm important when he needs me. Her eyes were growing hot again and she seriously needed to gain some more control. She rushed around the little pond and around the bend towards the track where soccer was taking laps. Her head lifted to see the guys running, some panting. Then she caught sight of Gray.
She smiled gently before looking down at her phone. She texted him, knowing well that he wouldn't check until after practice, but she would have someone to talk to later.
Lucy had no perfect life. Lucy knew she was not the only one with no perfect life. Lucy was tired though. Lucy wanted nothing more than to stop. Lucy wanted nothing more than for it to end…
XxxxX
What they wanted, you ask? To stop? To leave? To run? To be happy? To hold life?
Possibly. Maybe. Yes. No. The answer is only known by them. Answers that should be heard and not taped over, but regardless of how much one screams, if no one is there to hear, if no one listens, they will never make a sound.
Because, hearing me is completely different than listening to me…
OoooO
I'm alive! Haha, welp, so sorry for this guys. Inspiration had run dry and omg… I hated myself for it. Like holy crap, it makes me extremely sad and ugh…
So, focus on Lucy and Lyon this chapter. Next will more than likely be Lyon, Gray, and Juvia. Lucy will be little bit… maybe? OH, and POVs are back again!
So, I am currently planning on posting the next chapter before the end of the month, but if it doesn't happen, I apologize. Class have officially fucked me this year. (Pardon my tongue!)
