Hey everyone. I know it's been awhile since I updated this one. I finally got around to writing another chapter.

So enjoy, hope you like it, and please review.

I do not own anything Harry Potter related.

Staring at the speck in the night sky where Hagrid disappears with my baby boy on a flying motorcycle was hard to do. My poor son is going to grow up without his parents, how will this affect him?

"Lily, we need to go." James voice comes from next to me.

"Go?" I ask in a daze, still watching the sky.

"We can't stay here. It's not natural to be stuck in the life we should have had. We need to move on."

I look at him, "It's not natural? Do you realize we are magical beings who lived on this Earth with mythical creatures and ghosts running around for years?"

He half smiles, "You know what I mean."

I turn away from him, tears running down my face as I watch Sirius walk out of our half blown up house. He looks sad, yet furious at the same time, and I can't say I blame him. We are dead and he probably blames himself for not being able to persuade us to make him the secret keeper to where we were hiding from Voldemort. We trusted Peter to take that important mission and here we are…dead and our son an orphan.

Sirius walks right through James and for a second he stops in his tracks. He just stands there, not moving. His face looks puzzled, but then he shakes his head and walks away.

"We need to follow him."

"No." James grabs my arm, dragging me away.

"James! We need to see where he is going."

"Lily…" he grabs my hands and kisses them, staring into my eyes. "You are torturing yourself."

I shake my head, "I'm not." Then everything goes dark. I can still feel his hands holding mine, his deep breathing in my ear. "James?"

"It's okay." he slips his fingers in mine, "Everything is…" the scenery comes back, but we aren't in Godrics Hollow anymore. We are standing on the road of Privet Drive in the town of Little Whinging, Surrey. This is where my sister, my nephew and her good-for-nothing husband live. "Okay." he finishes with a puzzled look.

I look around in surprise. The light bulbs of the lamps are going out. 'How did we get here?"

He just shrugs in confusion, "I have no clue."

Another light goes out and I spin on the spot, then another. The last one that goes off makes the entire street pitch dark, only the lights from the house windows makes anything slightly visible.

We start to walk, until we get to house number four. There is when I notice yellow eyes popping out of the darkness. Then a voice comes from behind us.

"I should have known."

We both spin on the spit. No one other than Albus Dumbledore, headmaster to Hogwarts, the wizard school we went to as kids is standing there.

"Dumbledore." I say in shock, "What are you…" I stop, realizing that he can't see me.

Another voice comes now, again from behind us. "Is it true Albus? What everyone is saying."

This time it's Minerva McGonagall, one of the teachers at the same school. So she was the cat that was just staring at us. She has the ability to change into a cat and back into human form on command. It's a very handy skill being an animagus.

For awhile we just watch as they talk back and forth about what happened to me and James. In the end we find out that the reason why they are here is because Dumbledore plans on letting Harry live here, which I find totally barbaric because my sister and her husband never wanted anything to do with my magical side. It was unnatural and not normal enough to their standards.

That's when a roaring sound comes to our ears and we look up to the sky. It's Hagrid with Harry. The sound of the motorcycle is so loud it amazes me that no one wakes up or looks out their windows. Muggles are so oblivious to magic anyway that they probably wouldn't even have noticed him landing if they had.

When he gets Harry in his arms we walk with Dumbledore to my sister's front door and watch as he sets my son onto the concrete step of it. He is bundled up in a blanket and so asleep that he doesn't even stir. I can't help but smile at the sight of his cute little face.

Dumbledore sets a letter with the name Petunia Dursley on it. "Good luck, Harry Potter."

And just like that Harry is part of a new family. A family that will not treat him right. There is no way I can allow this to happen. But of course there is nothing I can do now.

Everything goes dark again. I feel like I'm floating in nothingness, but I can feel James next to me. Where are we going?
