A/N: Hello…it's me.

IT. HAS. BEEN. ALMOST. A. YEAR.

I wanted to apologize for not updating in such a long time and I feel terrible for not giving constant updates like I once used to. The reason I've been missing is that life once again got in the way, especially since I'm in college and it's hard to keep up with this story. Also, the strongest storm of writer's block struck me and it was difficult to continue writing; stress also got in the way again.

However, I know that there may still be some of you (hopefully) who still wish to see this story continue and finally be given its proper end. I have a mental image of how this story ends and I fully intend and hope to complete the vision. I am eternally grateful for the constant support this story received since first uploading it back in 2013 (geez, I feel old!) and for all the reviews, followers, PMs, and favorites!

I actually immediately had begun typing up what was supposed to be the next chapter (Ch. 29) after last updating this story but midway through, I lost my way and I admittedly had trouble in how I wanted to write it. I am almost finished with Ch. 29 and this story does only have very few chapters left, according to my vision.

Since I've had the "late updater" disease, here's a sneak peek into the upcoming Ch. 29 which should be out very soon for you guys who supported me and this story for such a long time.

A foreign voice over the speaker system rang throughout the aircraft now. "Morning ladies and gentlemen, welcome and thank you for choosing to fly with British Airways. We're scheduled for takeoff in twenty minutes."

"Can't believe this is actually happening," Kurt gulped, sighing when Blaine immediately placed a hand over his on the armrest.

The author read his mind, "I would've loved to meet your mother, Kurt. From what you say, she sounds like a great person." He swallowed, whispering. "I'm sorry for what happened—"

"Don't be," Kurt shook his head, voice wavering before he cleared his throat, washing away all his emotions in a nanosecond. "Anyway, we have a couple hours before we land so let's see what in-flight entertainment they have here."

The countertenor reached over to his seat pocket and fished out an in-flight magazine; a bewildered Blaine sat there, aware of Kurt's sudden change in mood. He knew Kurt was hiding all his pent up emotions inside and he began to believe that Kurt was afraid of showing them to him.

His heart broke.

"Night Sky—"

"Oh wow, they have Les Miserables! I'll bookmark that," Kurt interjected, continuing to skim through the glossy page.

The author reached out and gently pulled the magazine from Kurt's now-shaking hands; he propped a finger under Kurt's chin and made him turn to look at his eyes.

"Kurt, look at me." His lover hesitantly did so, briefly mesmerized by the familiar hazel once more. Blaine had to take a moment to control himself now as he knew that a month ago, his vision still was pitch black and he wouldn't have had the luxury to cherish how Kurt truly looks like. "You know I'm always here for you, right?"

Kurt didn't respond, numb now.

A/N: There you have it! By the way, I hope everyone's starting to have a great, well-deserved summer!
