I finally updated this story!
YAY!
(********************************************************************************************************************)
When Akisame got back to the dojo shortly after walking Hanna to her apartment a block away, he was met at the gate by- well, pretty much everyone. The elder, Sakaki, Kensei, Shigure, Apachai, Kenichi, Miu... And...Niijima? What the hell is he doing here? Akisame wondered before quickly shrugging the thought off.
It really didn't matter whether the kid was at the dojo or not. He had already planned to ask him to use his information network to figure out where Hanna worked as well as what her schedule was so that he could go see her.
"So," Sakaki began, a sly grin on his face as he looked over his friend and fellow martial arts master. Taking note of the fact that Akisame had shaved his mustache off and had even trimmed and styled his once longish shaggy dark brown hair and was wearing casual clothing instead of his usual training/work clothes. "How did it go? Did you land yourself a lady?"
"A gentleman never kisses and tells." Was all Akiame said as he brushed by the group, making sure to grab Niijima by the nape of the neck and drug him off with him as he walked through the massive gate. Heading towards his room in the large house/dojo- the jujitsu master opened the door to his room and then stepped inside and pulled Niijima inside behind him and closed the door.
He released the teen as he sighed and then dropped into a graceful sitting position on the floor and began speaking, "Niijima, I need you to do me a favor." Once he was assured that the teen was convinced he wasn't going to be injured or something else likely traumatizing, he managed to get the boy's undivided attention before going on to say, "I need to know where Hanna works? How long she works and well, her schedule in general."
Niijima blinked at him before finally reacting and dropping down to sit across from him, though making sure to keep well out of his reach (honestly. The boy was far too paranoid for his own good sometimes) as he asked, "Things went well then?"
Akisame made a humming sound. Neither confirming nor denying anything.
As he had said earlier, a gentleman never kisses and tells.
Besides how things went between himself and Hanna from this point on was no one's business but theirs. And at the moment they didn't need people grilling either of them for information about what they did or how they were getting along. They would have to put up with enough questions later on- when their relationship wasn't quite on such shakey ground.
Niijima appeared to understand his reluctance to speak of anything, and luckily backed off since Akisame was starting to feeling more than a little tense, as the teen pulled out his PDA and began to pull up the information he requested. And after several strained minutes of silence, the boy made a humming sound before saying. "I did not know that."
Causing Akisame to become a little antsy, though he hid it well as he waited for Niijima to tell him something. "Looks like Hanna owns two businesses in the area. One is an online jewelry business that sells really good high quality stuff at more affordable prices than most other stores. According to this site info her jewelry store is worth well over three hundred and seventy two million dollars."
"And according to this she also owns her own floral shop just three blocks away. Apparently it's open on the weekends. But if someone needs something that can't gut at a specific place at a specific time- she does specialty work." Turning his PDA so that Akisame could see, he let the man reach out and take his precious gadget from him and begin looking over the data.
Once he had seen everything he needed to see and memorized the names of both businesses, he then returned Niijima's PDA to him and quietly thanked him as he planned out his next move.
Since tomorrow started the weekend, Hanna would be going to her floral shop to do some work early in the morning. Which meant that if he just happened to be in the area (with breakfast or lunch. just to help him weasel his way through the door) then he could stop by and perhaps see if she wanted some help.
And it wasn't like he intended to stay long. Just an hour or so. Enough time to see her at work and maybe talk to her and bond a bit more. After that he planned to leave her alone and only return at the end of the day to see if she would like to go out with him to grab something to eat at a local place.
He was thinking he was in the mood for traditional food, and perhaps a little bit of plum sake. Then he would walk her home just as he had today.
Come to think of it, sometime in the near future he'd have to invite her over to the dojo to meet everyone and have dinner. But before he could even think of inviting her over to eat with the other's he'd have to beat some damn manners into the lot of them.
Especially since the only ones with any semblance of manners were the frigging kids. He thought with a faint hint of annoyance as he thanked Niijima and then set him free so that he could unwind a bit and planned out his next five or six dozen moves.
Rolling his shoulder's he got comfortable and began his planning. Knowing that he had to be careful with Hanna due to her age and past- he didn't want to come across as creepy or overwhelming. He wanted her to know that he cared enough to try and get to know her before they married.
He wanted to know everything about her. The good and the bad.
And he planned to learn everything starting tomorrow.
