The Bloody Baron shook his head from where he was floating next to the bed that Hermione Granger was in once again. He was furious that someone dared to harm her once more. He looked at Severus with narrowed eyes. "Would you like to know who it was that cast the hex at Hermione this morning, Severus?"

Severus stiffened and turned his head from where he was watching Hermione sleep to look at the Bloody Baron. "What do you know, Baron?"

Baron's eyes actually flashed black before they returned to the ghostly color. "She was hexed by Lavender Brown this morning because Ronald Weasley asked her to. You, Professors, tend to forget that the ghosts in the castle knows everything that happens and if we don't then a portrait or house elf does. When we learned that Hermione had been hexed we asked one of the house elves that is very fond of Hermione if he could tell where the hex came from and who had been sitting where it came from. Once Dobby figured out where the hex had come from he was able to figure out quickly who had cast it and then he told us."

Severus' eyes flashed in anger. "That stupid little bint is going to realize just how wrong she was to do what she did. How did you figure out that Weasley had asked her to hex Hermione, Baron?"

At that the Bloody Baron smirked. "As you know when the house elves clean the house common rooms or dormitories they tend to make sure that they are not seen. One of the house elves was in the Gryffindor Common Room cleaning it up when Weasley asked Brown to hex Hermione with something painful, but that wouldn't land her in Azkaban for doing it. He made up some sob story and told it to her."

He stopped and shook his head. "Lavender Brown is apparently as stupid and idiotic as us ghosts thought that she was because the dunderhead actually believed everything Weasley told her. She had no problem hexing Hermione over something that she never thought to question if it happened. Some of the portraits have taken to following the girl and they heard her bragging to Parvati Patil about what she did. From what one of the portraits told me Parvati Patil went off on Brown and called her a moron for believing anything that Weasley told her just because she liked the idiotic boy. Patil told Brown that she would be going to one of the Professor's about what Brown did because Hermione didn't deserve what was done to her."

Severus' eyes lit up, but before he could respond the hospital wing doors were pushed open. He looked over and when he saw none other than Parvati Patil standing unsurely in the doorway he motioned her in and over to him. He took in a breath and let it out as he looked at the young woman who was looking at Hermione with side eyes even as she fidgeted next to him. "Is there something that I can help you with, Miss Patil?"

Parvati took in a deep breath and let it out as she looked from her schoolmate to her Potions Professor. "I heard that Hermione was here in the hospital wing and I wanted to come and check on her. I know that you are Hermione's father, Professor Snape, and I have to say that I am happy that she has you in her life now. Many people don't know this, but I get flashes of certain events that have happened or will happen. Most of the time I am good at blocking them, but for the last week I have been getting several flashes of Hermione and what her life has been like and what her life will be like in the future. The Patil family have always been close to the Spycer family because we help ground them so that their powers don't consume them before they learn how to control them."

Severus nodded. "I do know that because when I couldn't ground Ciara your father could. I had forgotten about that until just now. Something else is bothering you though, Miss Patil. What is bothering you so much that you look like you are about to commit murder or at the very least assault?"

Parvati's eyes flashed. "My so called best friend hexed Hermione at breakfast this morning because Weasley told Lavender that he got caught with Hermione and that he lost one hundred points and got two months of detention when she lied and told the Headmaster that he was forcing himself on her just because she didn't want anyone to know that she was a word that I won't repeat. I know for a fact Hermione would never be with Weasley like that because she likes someone else, but even if she didn't she would never sleep with the likes of Weasley."

Severus' eyes narrowed. "Weasley got one hundred points taken and two months' worth of detention because I caught him trying to strangle my daughter last night after she was already in the hospital wing because of Parkinson casting the Cruciatus Curse on her and triggering the change to come earlier. Even though Hermione went to breakfast and her first class this morning she was still dealing with tremors from the Cruciatus. What Brown hexed her with this morning made the tremors even worse because she started suffering from muscle spasms on top of the tremors."

He stopped talking to take several breaths in and let them out in order to calm down some. The young woman standing before him didn't deserve his anger or to get yelled out since she had nothing to do with what happened and in fact came to him to tell him what her idiotic imbecilic of a best friend did to his daughter. "Miss Brown will be lucky if she doesn't end up getting charged with assault because of who Hermione is and what she now represents. I'm sure that you know the history of the Spycer family, Miss Patil, so therefore you know who they are and what they can do. Hermione's powers are at least ten times stronger than Ciara's powers were, Miss Patil, and that means that she is going to need a lot of help in keeping herself grounded so that she doesn't get lost in her powers. I will be talking to the Headmaster about moving you and your sister into Hermione's dorm room so that you can help her ground her powers. I will be sending your father an owl because he may be needed in order to help you, your sister, and I with grounding Hermione."

Parvati nodded. "I already sent an owl to father this morning and asked him to come to Hogwarts as soon as he got the letter. I know that Padma also sent him a letter as well. We will do what we can to help Hermione, Professor, but I think you need to know the extent of her powers if you're going to help her. If you'd like I can tell you all of the powers and abilities that she has received and/or will receive in the days to come."

Severus conjured a chair and waited until Parvati sat down. "Tell me what you can, Miss Patil."

Parvati licked her lips. "The ability that is going to be the hardest to master for Hermione is the ability to dream walk. When she sleeps she will be able to walk into anyone's and everyone's dreams without even trying. If she does this without even realizing it she could end up hurt or worse dead because in dreams she can sustain injuries if someone is dreaming about something bad."

Severus' eyes widened in shock. "Sweet Merlin! There hasn't been a dream walker in the Spycer family in over three centuries."

Parvati nodded solemnly. "Hermione is the last of the Spycer family and she has inherited most if not all of the abilities and powers that someone in that family line has had at one time or another. The reason that she inherited them all is so that can pass them on to the eight children that she will eventually have. Anything that happens in someone's dream that she walks through will show up visibly the next day on her. If she were to walk into someone's dream that was dreaming of having sex with her she could end up pregnant in real life from it even if she didn't have sex in real life, Professor."

Severus swore. "I will have to hold a meeting with several others later today to discuss this development. What other abilities or powers does Hermione have, Miss Patil?"

Parvati smiled slight. "She has the ability to heal anyone and I do mean anyone. If she were to master the healing ability she could go to St. Mungo's and heal Frank and Alice Longbottom, Professor. She has the power to control all four elements. She has the ability to talk to any and all animals, see the future and past, hear what people are thinking, she can talk to the dead, she can call up on spirits to aid her if she should need help, she has telekinesis, she can astral project herself, and she has the ability to craft weapons in the blink of an eye."

She stopped talking and ran a hand through her hair. "Those are just the basic ones that she can master pretty easy if she puts the effort into them. She has more powers and abilities also. One of the harder abilities that she has is to time travel five years into the past. She could probably time travel farther than five years, but from what I have seen as long as she goes no further than five years into the past she will be safe. She has the ability to see everything of a person's life with one touch. She has the ability to read Aura's. She has the ability to change into several magical animals. She has the ability to fly without a broom. She has the ability to teleport. There are several more abilities that she has, but I'm not sure what the names of them are right off. I requested that dad bring me a book that we have that gives a complete list of any and all abilities and powers that the Spycer family have been known for."

Severus groaned. "I'm starting to think that Hermione is as much of a trouble magnet as Harry Potter is. Thank you so much for telling me all of this, Miss Patil. I would appreciate it if you would stay here with Hermione while I go and talk to the Headmaster. The ghost will stay close because they are helping Hermione's magical core to fill back up since she was drained again when I brought her in."

Parvati nodded. "I will stay here with Hermione, Professor Snape. I wouldn't be surprised if Padma shows up here after her class. If you would make sure that Padma and I our excused from the rest of our classes today, we will stay here to make sure that Hermione is grounded. I don't think that she needs to be using any of her powers or abilities with how much she has been drained from last night and this morning."

Severus couldn't help but smile slightly as he stood up. He bent down and kissed Hermione on the head and ran a hand through her hair lightly. He wanted her to wake up so that he knew that she was alright, but he knew that she needed all the sleep that she could get. He turned from her bed after kissing her head once more and looked at Parvati. "The only people allowed in here to see Hermione are Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, Theo Knott, Blaise Zabini, Seamus Finnigan, Dean Thomas, Neville Longbottom, and your sister, Miss Patil. If anyone else tries to see Hermione hex them and then send for me. I will make sure that your Professor's know that you and your sister are excused for the rest of the day on your classes. Oh and Professor Remus Lupin is allowed into see Hermione. I would say that Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy are allowed in, but more than likely they will be with me in my meeting with the Headmaster."

Parvati nodded in understanding. She knew that Severus was limiting who could have access to Hermione for a good reason. "I promise you that I won't allow anything to happen to Hermione, Professor. If she wakes up I will send word to you. I'm pretty sure that Dobby the house Elf is here in the infirmary keeping an eye on Hermione somewhere."

She watched as Severus nodded at her and then walked out of the hospital wing before she looked back at Hermione. "Oh, Hermione, why can't anything be simple when it comes to you. I promise you that I won't allow any harm to come to you."

She sat back in her chair and kept her eyes on Hermione while the Bloody Baron, the Grey Lady, and a couple other ghost including Professor Binns floated around Hermione's hospital bed with their eyes on her. She knew that the ghost could come back to the land of the living with one touch of Hermione's hand if she and the ghost she was touching wanted to be able to live again. She silently vowed that she would make sure that Hermione knew that she wasn't alone and that she had more people than she knew about that she could count on.

She knew from the flashes that she had, had that life at Hogwarts was about to get very interesting and she couldn't help, but wonder what everyone would think of the changes that were about to happen.

A/N 2: *snickers* Poor Hermione isn't going to know what to do with all her newfound abilities and/or powers... I did so enjoy writing this chapter... I know that it probably could have been longer, but I wanted to focus on Severus finding out what kind of abilities and powers that Hermione will wield...
