What If – Lost Tickets
"Um Gabby," said Taylor, nervously.
"What?" asked Gabriella, as she turned to her friend.
Gabriella turned around to see Taylor stood with her bag opened and a worried expression on her face.
"You've not," groaned Gabriella.
"I swear the tickets were in my bag," said Taylor. "I swear I put them in last night."
"Well have another look," suggested Gabriella.
Minutes later with the entire contents of Taylor's bag in Gabriella's hands and on the seat the tickets were still missing.
"Phone your mum and see if there on your floor or notice board," suggested Gabriella.
"Gabriella I know I put them my bag," said Taylor.
"It can't hurt," urged Gabriella.
"Did I give them to you?" asked Taylor, as she dialled.
"I'll check but I don't think so are there in any pockets?" asked Gabriella, as she rooted though her bag.
As Taylor spoke to her mother she rooted though her pockets but there was no luck on the phone, in her pockets or in Gabriella's bag.
"Great," sighed Taylor. "Mum says if we can't find them we have to come home."
"I have an idea," smiled Gabriella, pulling out her phone.
"Gabs we can't get in. We have no tickets. We know no one who will give us there tickets," said Taylor.
"Zip pocket in your bag," answered Gabriella.
Taylor checked. "There are not in my bag Gabriella."
"So if there not in your bag, my bag, any of our pockets or your house. Where are they?" asked Gabriella.
"I don't know they must have been stolen," answered Taylor.
"But everything else in your bag," said Gabriella. "What about your purse?"
Taylor checked and shook her head.
"I need to make a phone call I'll be right back," smiled Gabriella.
"How can you smile at a time like this?" called Taylor.
Gabriella just backed away and smiled until she was out of earshot. Then she dialled and put the phone to her ear.
"Hey babe," she smiled.
"Brie we are about to go in lock down," answered the guy. "I'll see you in the crowd."
"Yeah about that you won't we don't have tickets. They've vanished," sighed Gabriella.
"Stolen or lost?" asked Troy.
"One of the two. Everything else in her bag so I'm not too sure there stolen. But there not at her house, in her bag, my bag or in our pockets," answered Gabriella.
"Give me two minutes let me see what I can do," smiled Troy.
"That's what I'm hoping you would say," smiled Gabriella.
"I'll phone you back," said Troy, before he hung up.
Gabriella walked back to Taylor.
"Was your phone call a success?" asked Taylor.
"We'll see but probably," smiled Gabriella.
They stood and waited for a couple of minutes before Gabriella's phone rang and her face light up. She gestured to Taylor to follow her as she stayed on the phone.
"Yes we're almost there."
"Are we in?" asked Taylor.
Gabriella held up her hand as they stopped at a door. She hung up.
"Yes," answered Gabriella. "It pays to know people."
"So you know a crew member?" asked Taylor.
"Something like that," smiled Gabriella, as they heard footsteps on the other side of the black door.
The door opened slightly and Gabriella glanced around.
"It's clear," she smiled.
The door opened more and Taylor's mouth dropped as Gabriella ran into Troy Bolton's arms.
"You want to come in before anyone sees?" asked Troy.
Taylor just nodded as Troy hugged Gabriella.
"You that's," stuttered Taylor.
"As I said it pays to know people," answered Gabriella.
"How do you know him?" asked Taylor.
Then Troy dipped Gabriella and kissed her.
"Oh," said Taylor.
"He's my boyfriend," smiled Gabriella.
"So this is what happens if you lose your ticket?" asked Taylor.
"Or if she just wants to come to show anywhere," said another voice.
"Chad," smiled Gabriella, slipping out of Troy's embrace.
"Gabster," smiled Chad, hugging the girl before she bounded back to Troy.
"Tommy sent me to say we really need to get into lockdown now and he'll sort the girls out," said Chad.
Troy nodded and pulled Gabriella to his side.
"This way," he smiled.
Taylor didn't know which way to look as the boys lead them though the maze of corridors to the back stage area.
"Here we are and we will see you girls later," smiled Troy, as he bent to kiss Gabriella.
"Gabriella," called a voice.
The girls turned to see Tommy, the boys manager.
"I hear we had a ticket misunderstanding," he said.
"Lost or stolen or something," shrugged Gabriella.
"Well you can go in suite with the friends, you can stay back here or I can see if we can squeeze you into the front row," said Tommy.
Gabriella looked at Taylor who shrugged.
"Here," smiled Gabriella. "You get the best view here."
"You mean you do you are the one who gets to see her boyfriend change," smiled a girl, as she walked past.
"Hey Michelle," called Gabriella.
Michelle waved a hand in response.
"Who's that?" asked Taylor.
"The boy's hair and make up lady," answered Gabriella.
"So you know everyone?" asked Taylor.
"Pretty much," smiled Gabriella.
"So where are we sitting?" asked Taylor.
"Well do you want to sit front row where you can see them or backstage where you can see them and see them getting changed. Or in a suite with some of their friends?" asked Gabriella.
"Definalty not the last one I'm still afaird I'll act all fan girl," answered Taylor.
"We can't make seats in the front row," called Tommy.
"Guess that settles that then," answered Gabriella.
"So you and Troy?" asked Taylor, as the music started for the supporting group to go on.
"Well that is a very long story," smiled Gabriella.
