I swear I am the worst at updating. I need like a beta or a co-author because university is starting up next week and I'm in my third year so I'm required to start interning now :( hit me up if you're interested!

Anyway, enjoy this short update. Love you all

DRACO'S POINT OF VIEW

I watch as her breath deepens and slows. She's bound to be asleep now.

I wriggle to get under the covers and face her.

"You're an amazing woman, Hermione Jean Granger. I'll be damned to another life of torture if I ever let you go. Thank you."

And with that, I close my eyes and drift off to sleep.

The following morning, I awake with a start and realize that we moved in our sleep. I look down at the bushy haired girl that has made her way from her side of my bed to my chest. For the first time in a long time, I feel a lightness in my chest. I glance over the clock on my bedside table and realize it's still early.

Hermione snuggles closer and then stiffens. I watch as she slowly opened her eyes and then looks up at me. She gives me a shy smile that nearly made my heart stop. I tentatively smile back but I fear that it turns into a grimace.

Hermione sits up and looks around my barren room. I watch her as she makes her observation. She suddenly startles and looks at the clock.

"Oh god! Is that the time already?! I call dibs on the shower first!" She then jumps up and runs to the bathroom. I hear the lock click and I can't help but let a chuckle escape.

I get up and start to get ready for the day ahead.

I made my way out to our common room and spotted her on the couch.

"Took you long enough!" She stood up and made her way to me. I look down at her confused as to why she would wait for me. She said nothing, grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door.

We made our way to the great hall. All around me I could see the stares; I could hear the whispers. I try to tug my hand away but it only made her grip it tighter. I look down at her and as if sensing my stare, she stopped and looked up. She gave me a reassuring smile and I relax even just a little bit but still not letting go of the stoic mask that I always wear.

Much to my dismay, the whole hall gaped at us when we entered the great hall. To make things worse (in my part, mostly), she dragged me off to the Gryffindor table and that's how I found myself sandwiched between Granger and the Weaselette.

Yo, I'm highkey serious about the beta and co-author thing. At least someone to brainstorm with when I'm out of ideas. Writers block is the worst and I'd hate to keep you guys waiting.
